Luckily it was an easy problem to fix and prices were reasonable. First time visitors even get a free picture and frame of your furry friend! I have mine sitting out. They called back a few times to check in and see if my cat had gotten better and recovered. I love supporting locally owned businesses, especially because its in my neighborhood. My dog used to go somewhere else), and everyone was very welcoming. When you get there, you park and tell them what parking spot you're in, and then they come and bring you and your pet in. My call was answered right away, and they came out to greet us within a few minutes. I really appreciated this as my dog sometimes gets overwhelmed around a lot of other dogs. With this set-up, my dog was able to stay very calm. When I got inside, it was instantly clear how much both the vet and the assistant cared about my dog. They prioritized her comfort and were very kind throughout. My dog's fourteen and losing her sight, so she can get scared easily by people touching her, but they were so gentle; she had zero problems! At one point, they had to take her for some testing which involved washing her face, so she got a little cold, and they wrapped her up in a warm towel straight from the dryer. It was so heartwarming to see how well she was being treated. In addition, I had a lot of questions about costs, and they took the time to explain everything to me. I would highly recommend this place.

The woman who answered was not all interested in a new client. She rushed me through answers, cut off questions, and seemed utterly surprised that I would want to actually meet the doctor I'd be turning my pets over to for care. I get that they're busy but I'd waited on hold to talk to her, if she had such little time (less than 3 minutes) to answer questions maybe she should have left me on hold? I understand that this is during a pandemic so many places are doing curbside, but to not offer a virtual visit? No curbside visit? Sorry but unless it's an emergency like MedVet, I'm not handing my pets over to strangers without talking to them first.

TLDR: Compassionate non pushy Vet who treats your pet as a #1 priority. Super informative…read moreextraordinarily prompt and very reasonable costs. Decided to take my cat here for a check up/vaccines after we took her to the emergency vet. She was lethargic and she wouldn't eat and throwing up more than average. The EV did a pleathora of tests said she was fine and sent us home with some appetite stimulants and anti nausea. When I took her to Bren-Lor the first time they ended up finding a microchip that didn't belong to me, Dr. Long came outside to speak with me about it, she was very sympathetic and helped me figure out if there was an owner looking for her, so she sent us home for the night until we worked that out. I had to bring her back in a few days later because after we finished her course of meds from the EV she stopped eating again, they ran blood tests that came back normal, and then they did x-rays which came back abnormal. She came outside and showed me pictures of the x-rays and explained what was weird, and what she thought could be wrong. She was never pushy about what I should do, she just gave me information answered my questions and gave me the her opinion and asked what I wanted to do. So they kept her for 6hr (free of charge) and redid xrays to see if the abnormality was still there. It was, and she told me that they thought she had ate something but it looked like it had almost made its way through, so she gave my cat some fluids and sent us gone saying that it should pass in the next 24hrs or so. Fast forward to the weekend and she seemed to be doing great. Then sunday night she started vomiting profusely. They got me an appointment monday morning for another set of x-ray (free of charge). Dr. Long wasn't sure exactly what to make of them so she wanted some second opinions. She called me back and said that all of her colleagues thought it was a foreign object as well, I was able to schedule surgery for the NEXT MORNING. Got her through surgery and she already seems so much better. Turns out her duodenum (the little section between the stomach and intestines) was abnormally large which is why they thought it had made it to her colon on the previous x-ray. Dr.Long told me she didn't know how the object had made it through her stomach and she didn't know why she wasn't vomiting this whole time. My cats a bit of a medical anomaly it seems. They've called to check up on her repeatedly through this experience. I will never take my pets anywhere else. Dr. Long was amazing to me and more importantly my cat. Cannot recommend this place enough.

I take her home, go to work come back and shes got hives all over and itchy from the vaxxs already paid over $600 for. called them up they said to bring her back in, they examine her in another room, give her two more shots a steroid and Benadryl to counteract the reaction without asking me. say she's fine and tell me there's some Benadryl pills I can get as well. I figured it's a bad reaction to the shots I already paid for I shouldnt be charged extra for this...sure enough lady comes in with another bill for $65 for the two shots they didn't ask me to inject. in no world should someone have to pay for meds to fix a reaction to vax I already paid for! ridiculous. the doctor and aids were very nice and everything but I won't be back because they charged me for a fix to their messup.

Morgan was AWESOME! even though each dog was a different size and progressing at varying levels, she took the time to provide individualized training instruction to each owner and even addressed specific trouble spots as needed. we would recommend the animal hospital of new albany to all dogs!
