We had our company dinner this year at this location and it was great. Nice view on a May night with great service. The bartenders were awesome. Quick and very good at their mixes. It's always a plus when they remember your name after a couple. The appetizers were delicious. Oysters, lobster rolls, shrimp cocktail, sliders, avocado toast etc... Main entrees they provided us with the steak, pasta with red sauce, chicken all buffet style and it was great. Nice neat place with lots of room to boogie after during the night!

Great view from lower Manhattan. Many nice photo spots. Beautiful fireplace. Service was attentive. the elevator was broken for our company party.Buffet proteins zapped of moisture.

It's on a nice location, on the water between South and Liberty ferries, with indoor and outdoor seatings. As we walked in at 1:04pm on a Sunday, the girl was on the phone with a potential party customer. She makes no acknowledgment and continues her slow conversation. Two women before us left. A hand signal to say 'I see you' could go a long way. I turn around and take a few photos. It's full six minutes before she said, "I'll call you back." Behind us there are two groups of people. The service is ok. One of the young kid looks very neverious and is more than eager to take my plate away when I still have eggs and bread in it and my friend has half plate of pasta (they didn't provide her with a spoon, so she uses her fork against the knife...). Food is ok 西红柿炒鸡蛋. Their glasses are nice.

Great spot for brunch. Views of the bay and Statue of Liberty. Inside and outside patio dining options. Tip: meals come with breakfast potatoes even though they are not listed. We ordered a side of potatoes because of this and we had 3 pound of potatoes! They did take it off the bill when I realized they were included.

I always love a restaurant with a great view. I picked this place on a beautiful day to try. The food presentation was pretty but lacked flavor. The oysters were good, but those are hard to mess up. You don't have to do anything to them. And I ordered the fish tacos with a pineapple salsa. They were just ok. I am a big foodie and I wasn't impressed. The service wasn't great either. They took a while to check up on us at the outside bar. Price wise I would say expensive for what it was. Two other people in my group ordered a salad as the meal. It also lacked flavor and hardly had anything on it. It was also not filling. All three of us were still hungry when we left. I would maybe give them one more shot. The drinks I saw in passing looked good but I didn't try them.

The staff are observing all appropriate COVID 19 safety precautions. Service is courteous and swift. The views of the water are what makes this spot great for relaxed evenings. We were not rushed with our meal, so we took our time. Friday night, multiple tables were available, so our reservation was not necessary. The food was nothing special. $15 mahi Tacos were forgettable. $20 view burger was underwhelming at best. Huge burger, with a lot of fixings, but the meat was so so dry. The patty was bland and tasteless. Such a disappointment. The fries were delicious though--crispy and well salted.

My family and I ate here after our visit to the Statue of Liberty and it was a nice little spot. Great view and the seating area was nice and breezy. The baby got french toast and it was delicious. The lobster rolls were great but much smaller than expected. The watermelon margarita was nice and refreshing. My brother in law got the lobster salad and raved about it...it was probably the prettiest of all the dishes. My other brother in law got the chicken blt and said it was mediocre. Service was alright but there is definitely room for improvement.

Five stars for the wonderful event that Masterpiece Caterers presented for us at THE VIEW at Battery Park. I only posted photos where there were no people, but I think you get the idea. The room is huge, filled with light, with a wrap around terrace with a million dollar view. The service was outstanding. Plenty of people to help. All staff friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious. The drinks strong. Our party was a smaller luncheon rescheduled from a larger event that was canceled due to Covid. As we were leaving they transformed the space for a large reception, with the ceremony downstairs on the water. Absolutely gorgeous. If The View is not on your radar because it is new, check it out. Go for brunch.

Went here for dinner toward the end of the summer, and had a great view as the sun set over the water. The food was good, but on the pricier side. Overall we had a nice time, but beware of bugs in the summertime- I got a bunch of mosquito bites throughout the course of the evening.

Didn't get many pictures of the food itself unfortunately but the restaurant was nice & our server was on it! I got the bacon/avocado burger & my partner gotten the lobster roll. The only complaint was that the lobster roll was kinda bland but everything else was perfectly cooked and the drinks were great

Had dinner outside and it was lovely! Caesar salad with shrimp was delicious! Their Happy Hour from 4-6 made a delicious mojitos taste even better on a hot day.

Just stopped in for a quick drink and a warm up on a Friday afternoon. We were welcomed and seated at the window with. A view of the Statue of Liberty and watched the sunset over hot cocoa and wine while the attentive staff merrily decorated the giant Christmas tree. Loved it. Would love to have dinner here.

My best friend and I hired Pop Up Picnic NYC for our birthday celebration…read more I loved that a location was chosen for us, given my little knowledge of the park. We were situated in a spot with a great view of Belvedere Castle and close to restroom access. This was such a sweet way for our friends and us to celebrate each other during the day. All setup was included and the aesthetic and atmosphere was the perfect combination of casual, cozy, and fancy that we were looking to achieve. Setup includes lots of blankets, pillows, 2 outdoor games, and a board of snacks. This is a wife and husband duo and their local, small business - was wonderful to be able to support them and the creative business model they've established. Once we arrived, they made sure to spend time to ensure we were comfortable and to get to know us before they left us to celebrate. It was apparent they put lots of time and love into their efforts and the setup! There was a last minute 45 minute pushback in our reservation time. As I understand, this was driven by catering and I felt like the company handled it professionally and they were sure to extend our time on the back end. Luckily we were able to do so as we did not have other plans that this impeded. The pricing is a bit on the steep end; however, more manageable if splitting with other members of your party. It also is rather comparable to other companies I inquired with. A few recommendations and suggestions I have for Pop Up Picnic NYC include: - Providing more water, even a cooler with water bottles would've been great as those were heavy to lug around - Shade. It ended up being a rather hot day and we were not near any shade, perhaps moving the space a bit to find some shade or including decor options that provide shade (umbrella, etc) - Access to the owners and info on the company is all through Instagram. It was great having access to images and videos from their previous picnics; however, there was limited access to what exactly the company offers. Even a one-pager that could be shared via email to explain the various options (including pricing & logistics) would've been great in speeding up the booking process - If able (I'm not at all familiar with park rules here), offering alcoholic beverage options/packages would certainly be worth considering. I would have absolutely given that option a look through All being said, I would absolutely recommend booking with Pop Up Picnic NYC for an event you're looking to plan. I will also have them top of list myself going forward when looking to book a similar event - I can only imagine how cozy one of their picnics would be in the fall. Thanks to Stephanie and team for making our birthdays memorable!!

From the first visit to the hall it was amazingly easy to talk to him, ask all our questions and address any concerns. We had about 90 ppl in total, although we expected close to 120. Tables and chair were sturdy, good condition and clean. The hall was clean and tidy when we got there early Saturday morning. Abdul called in to check that we were doing okay that morning and to confirm that he would be by to check out the sound system and make sure it was up and running for us. There was an evening event right after ours so we did have to be certain of clearing out by 5 so that the next party could adequately decorate and we were able to squeeze by. Abdul was there at the end to make sure everything was ok and got to work with his clean up crew with the hall provides as part of the fees and pricing. I wish I had taken more pictures of just the hall and the decorations but something is better than nothing. They guided us along from the beginning exploratory conversations, through the booking, the food and room setup, to the execution of the event. Wow...they are awesome and they know their stuff! Everything was a smashing success. Special kudos to how they knew all of what to expect too...ie. they were spot on right down to knowing certain foods wouldn't really be eaten as much as others (yes, we went against their advice and yes, we were wrong...lol...but good news is I have tons of leftovers for lunch this week!) Other notes: East Wing is perfect for about 50 people, especially if you need tables and other things laid out in the space. Its well lit but private, their is a bathroom in the room, there are great nooks and crannies to store things (strollers, presents, etc) and the food is both delicious and portioned correctly. We did a lot of research and the way EDBM prices its party packages is by far the best, especially for the nicer ambiance and food quality. They are upfront with all their charges, and at the end of the day, you definitely get more for your money than you would at other places around town of similar size and service. Also, a special kudos to their onsite party host, Lindsay. She is a master party manager, bartender, hostess, problem solver, and generally kind-spirited person. She answered questions, made us comfortable and assisted us in every possible way. Amazing at her job! They all are - Christine, Niki and Brittany. Bravo! I can't remember all of the names but I believe there was a Brittany, Christine and I want to say Kate. Our first part of the night we started off at the Gin Mill for dinner. I got to be honest the food was a lot better than what I thought it was going to be. Pasta, Chicken, Steak, potatoes, tator tots, all delicious. Maggie, who was I guess the host of the party was excellent along with our bartender. I cannot remember her name but she was blonde (sorry) and very on top of whatever drinks we needed. I rate everything at this place a 10 Our limo driver Steve who was flat out the man...enough said!!!!! He catered to us as best as he could and went above and beyond. I would definitely have him as a limo driver again. As Steve took us to Down the hatch, the bartenders were there ready to wait on us, and they didn't disappoint. (Maggie called ahead for us!) The one down point of the night was when we ordered wings the staff brought the wings and set them up over on a shelf by the main door. The bouncer came over and asked us to clear the doorway. I understand 100% he was doing his job, but this is where the staff put the wings. I explained to him that we will move out of the way the best we could to not block the doorway, but asked him where were we going to go to eat? I said if you can find us a table I will gladly move. This bouncer had a Dallas Cowboys hat on and, said " you want me to find you a table, not my problem. Okay guy! We left immediately! Guy was just a rude................well you get the point. I called Maggie to explain to her the situation immediately and made sure she knew that we were not out of control, not causing any problems etc.... Next up, 3 sheets saloon. Everything about this place was outstanding. We had a waitress and I can't remember her name, but she was from Australia and she just kept bringing round after round until the open bar time was up! The bouncer Ivan was pretty awesome too. He kept us entertained throughout the night. All in all, the night turned out to be a good time..and I would recommend booking as everything went smoothly with the exception of the bouncer issue, but one guy with an ego, wasn't going to ruin our night.
