I was hoping to love this newer addition to Twain Harte . The patio is beautiful and the menu looked appealing. Came in on a chilly Friday night on a holiday weekend. I was promptly , but Awkwardly greeted . There was a tense vibe amidst the younger servers and two middle aged women that I presumed to be owners /and/or managers . The inside was kinda meh . It felt kinda like a converted diner ? The fireplace was not lit , which was a disappointment ambience wise . The two presumed boss ladies were extra friendly to selective groups. As a single diner, I gathered my input just wasn't as important to them . ‍ My sever was a slightly older gentleman . He was super sweet , friendly , and attentive ! I agree with other commenters on the soup tasting canned . It was the minestrone and arrived lukewarm , but tasty enough . The taste of the "Caramelized" mushroom flatbread was amazing in a comfort food kinda way . However , it felt like something I could have made as a girl dinner in my oven , or even microwave from some good Trader Joe's ingredients . It lacked that wood fired crispyness I tend to associate with flat bread and was more like sourdough or maybe naan ? But , like , more doughy . Kinda like cafeteria garlic bread consistency with swapped ingredients . But it was super yummy . Nothing made me sick . It was a decent enough dining experience . I'd give then another chance after they've had a chance to keep settling in . :) I feel like they need to find their niche and adjust their menu etc . Nice music .

Tried The Villa for lunch today... The Grilled Chicken sandwich was very tasty and the HOMEMADE Focaccia was excellent. We'll clearly return for dinner soon... For only being open for 1-week I'd have to say that they are on a good trajectory to succeed. I've attached their dinner menu which has a limited selection of very popular dishes.... Me? Well I'm going for the salmon of course.

This review is for a mix of service and food. The ambiance itself was fine, with a nice, upscale mountain ambiance with outdoor, dog friendly seating. We were promptly seated, as a party of two, and given ice water (much appreciated on a warm, Summer night). We sat 15 minutes without seeing ANYONE else, except our water guy who refilled our glasses. We finally appealed to him to see if we could speak to a wait person. Meanwhile, a party of six (seated AFTER us) already had appetizers showing up before we could even place an order for anything (drinks or food). We ordered our wine and food simultaneously for fear it would be another 15+ minutes before we saw the server again. We were never offered any bread, though we have in prior visits to this restaurant. My husband ordered the chicken Parmesan dinner, with a Caesar salad, while I ordered the small plate Buffalo Mac n' cheese with chicken. We waited another 20 minutes or so for the food. I bet my husband that his salad would come the same time as the entree, but it was worse, since he NEVER got the salad. He had to tell the server it did not come and, at that point, told her to not bother with it. His meal was mediocre at best and there was never even a mention of discounting his meal for the salad that never came. My Mac'n Cheese tasted like someone poured Velveeta cheese (plus some buffalo sauce) over the macaroni with some chopped chicken (when a shredded chicken would likely have been better). Our wait staff never came to check in with us about our meal and we eventually had to ask for our check (then finally take our check to the hostess station--since the waitstaff also delayed in picking up our bill). I worked in this field through college, so I know good service and when to cut others a break. The restaurant was not busy....our waitress had only two other tables I could see (and I had full view of the dining room) and her blonde peer who had 5+ tables was hoofing it the entire time to provide what appeared to be great service to all of them. I tipped the water guy, who was literally the only one providing good, attentive service. I left our waitress zero tip, and we will not come back. I'd rather go somewhere else in TH or make the trek to Sonora, where there is enough restaurant competition to inspire better service and more consistent food quality.

The service is amazing. Food is even better! very impressed! They have an amazing selection of wine and beer. we just had the best time with our bottomless mimosas! Apparently they do it every Sunday. i'Im so excited to have a new spot. Definitely recommend five star!

Good chicken parm. Pasta is just so-so. Wine is kind of pricey. Service that we had was excellent.

We called to try to make reservations for dinner but were told they don't take reservations. No worries! We decided to take our chances on a Saturday night. First impressions were great! The location is very cozy with a few tables and a bar. I fell in love with all of the imported Italian food for sale in the market area. Authentic Italian pasta, wine, and treats? Don't mind if I do! Obviously the prices will be more than a package of Golden Grain pasta at the grocery store, but you are paying for the authenticity and quality. We were told that all of the items in the market are imported from Italy except for the gelato which is from Marin. We were lucky to have a table as they were packed when we arrived. Even though it was cold outside, there was one outside table available with a patio heater which really helped keep us nice and comfortable. We ordered the bruschetta which had the most flavorful tomatoes and herbs. We then tried the gnocchi in a pesto cream sauce. Being Italian, I'm super picky when it comes to gnocchi. Usually it is super tough and chewy in restaurants which is not how it should be. This gnocchi was super tender and light and the sauce was very light and flavorful. So delicious! For dessert we ordered the tiramisu which was seriously the best I have ever had. The servers were extremely friendly and efficient. Despite how busy they were, we felt taken care of and treated like family. The owner Sarah has struck gold again with Avellino. We can't wait to return! Buon appetito!

They didnt have a printed kids menu but he helped my kids choose their food. We got ourselves some food and drinks as well. Everything came out fairly quickly. 1. The fancy fondue was very yummy. It came with toasted sourdough bread. 2. Garlic bread was also good. We dipped that into the fondue once we were done with the sourdough. It enhanced the taste further. 3. Kids loved the pepperoni pizza and fish & chips. 4. Our server also accommodated our request for a half and half garlic chicken pizza with no meat on one side. The pizza came out great. We didnt even leave the edges 5. For drinks we got the old fashioned and birthday cake which were both great. Will definitely be back here if in the area.

Their happy hour is DAILY from 14:00-16:00. The restaurant was pretty busy on a Sunday, but we didn't have to wait long for a table. Our server was attentive and friendly. For our cocktails, my friend went with the Huckleberry lemonade, while I went with the pomegranate whiskey sour. She thoroughly enjoyed her cocktail, and so did I. At that price point, I didn't expect much, but it was a solid cocktail, although not as strong as what I'd normally get elsewhere. The clam chowder sounded really good, and I couldn't help myself, so I ordered it. My friend is not a fan of seafood, so the chowder was all for me. The crostini was very nicely toasted and I loved dipping it into the chowder. I was also pleasantly surprised by the flavor and quality of the clam chowder. It was packed with a ton of clams, and was perfectly hearty without being heavy. We opted to share the fallen apple pizza, which was the perfect choice. The dough was pillowy and light, and the toppings delicious. I would have liked more apple slices, as it didn't seem like they were very prominent, and for the balsamic drizzle to be more uniform, but overall it was a solid pizza. I took leftover pizza home, and my husband enjoyed it for dinner. We heated it up in the air fryer and that was the way to go. While it was a little noisy in the restaurant, mainly due to a large group seated next to us, we still had a good experience, and the booth seating was comfy. I would love to bring my husband back to try more happy hour menu items next time we visit Sonora! The price point is seriously hard to beat, and Emberz is a solid spot for hanging out and having a good time.

We hadn't made time to stop at any wineries during the day, so we choose to stop in here due to the recommendation of Worldmark staff. This is a phenomenal wine tasting option whether you have the time to visit individual local wineries or not, as 13 wineries are represented: Chatom, Chiarella, Cpppermine, Domaine Becquet, Frog's Tooth, Four Winds, Ironstone, LaFolia, Mineral, Prospect 772, Renner, Stevenot, and Zucca Mountain. For a small fee (Worldmark guests receive a discount), we tried several Domaine Becquet (Cab-Shiraz), Four Winds (Chard), Ironstone (Zin 104), Mineral (Merlot) and Zucca Mtn (Sangiovese). Buck, our gracious host, shared a wealth of knowledge on each winery, winemaker and family, making the tastings very personal, special and interesting! There was no "favoritism" for one wine or winery. One couple in our group purchased several bottles, however one, the Domaine Becquet Cab-Shiraz (DELISH!) was not in stock, but would be available in 24-48 hours. Buck took our number and as soon as this wine was available, he contacted us and made arrangements to drop it off at our room when convenient for us. Wonderful customer service!
