There is free Wi-Fi; however, streaming might have issues when the park is full. Free laundry room! Well kept and modern located with the park restrooms. Our Verizon wireless router seems to have issues between 6 and 8 PM but works fairly good otherwise. Great T-Mobile 5G coverage! There's a small NEX within walking distance. No Restaurant on base however they do offer lunch at the gym/sailor Center during the work week. The gym is a very short walk from the park and is open 24/7! They offer a variety of fitness programs if you would like to participate. Very modern facility and equipment! There are several wonderful restaurants in the area! There's even a great little dive bar called Dave's Other Place where many Sailors stop on their way to Main Street when in port.

We stayed for several days before the Memorial weekend, so we experienced only one day of the…read moreactual busy portion of the holiday weekend. Good things: We thought the bathrooms and showers were very clean. The food at Moes was good as were the drinks. The store was well-stocked with toys, food, and clothing. The pool and jacuzzi were great, and the kids loved them. Kids' activities and games were plentiful, and they also enjoyed the playground. Staff was helpful in the office. Security was present and doing lots of rounds the first two nights (did not see them the busy Friday night). The camp was VERY, impressively, quiet at night. Middling things (mind you, the campground is not in control of these!): the sand is not soft sand like at the coastal beaches. Kids will probably need shoes for the shells and rocks, and it's packed super hard. The campground is under the flight path of John Wayne airport, so expect to know when it's 7 am each day since that's when the planes begin roaring overhead. Not-so-great things: the sites are super close together. Yes, you will be packed in like sardines, especially in the "standard" back row sites, which were completely filled when we visited. It is hard to back in when trucks are parked along the road, in front of the tiny sites- there is VERY little room for error. The sites are ALL DIRT, which I did not think would be so bad until I lived it. (Never again, unless I buy some turf at some point.) When campers dump their waste, expect to get some whiffs. (Many reviews note something about the angle of the dump/hose- we don't have a bathroom in our trailer so I can't attest to that issue.) Finally, the single biggest deal breaker for us was the allowed use of wood burning fire pits at sites. Since everyone is crammed in there, people burning wood on Friday night resulted in the paths and trailers and even the bathrooms being filled with smoke. They should only allow gas burning fire pits! So yeah- if we return it will only ever be mid week and preferably in the off-season.

The employee appeared completely untrained, offered no helpful information, and acted inconvenienced by a basic customer inquiry. Customer service and professionalism matter, especially during busy holiday weekends when visitors are looking for guidance and support. I hope management takes customer experience more seriously moving forward and provides better staff training.

They were kind enough to check on us when we weren't there at almost 7:30. I explained the situation and they were understanding. I called later to give the night attendant our ETA, she was waiting by at the entrance for us when we pulled in! She showed us to our site and was very descriptive of what we needed to do. She was confident in her trailer parking abilities too, she was willing to give us directions as far as we needed. Though my husband didn't as he drives a trailer all day every day. She said just take care of everything in the morning, made sure we were good and left is to finish setting up. The next morning was quiet and slow paced as we got moving and started making breakfast. We finally made it to the office and the lady there was kind,quick and informative! We went to the pool and hung out for a few then played some mini golf l. They have all kinds of items to change the game up each round/hole. My kids enjoyed getting to use their imagination. The bathrooms are very clean as well as everything else. The maintainer person even went two spots away from us with intent to use the blower, saw us and said he didn't want to stir things up for us. Later that night we were riding scooters and the maintenance man told my daughter "let's race"! She enjoyed that. The hardest part is probably having a 1 year old who just wants to be free but turns black every time he touches the pavement and 85 degrees with 87% humidity The location is great as well! Angels stadium, Disney and so many other things. If I had to choose somewhere to stay close by and save money by using the trailer, this is where I'd stay! You don't even realize you are in the middle of a very busy city! This park is family friendly and slow paced. The amount of cars moving around was so little I let the kids ride around without me. Well done Orangeland! Oh! I forgot to add! They seem to strive to be disability friendly! Now I'm not disabled and don't know everything required but they have ramps in all the public places making it easier to get places. They do not have a pool chair.

Has coin laundry facilities, has shower facilities. It seems like all the lots have a little nice patch of grass. I would imagine maybe would sprinklers because the grass looks so good. It is a 55 and older, which makes it pretty quiet during the day. I can't wait to move in and meet everybody it's in a nice part of old town Tustin. There's lots of trees. The cool thing is you can stay here forever if you like it month-to-month pretty much move out when you want. Space rent., does not include electricity or cable, but does include water, trash, sewer, you are in the heart of Orange County. You're not at the beach, but you're close. You're kind of centrally located around the 55 freeway, the 5 and the 405 is really close. The 22 is relatively close too and the 91. Can't wait to move in. I'm looking forward to it.

We chose an airstream for the convenience - but toured the property and found it a great place to camp in any of their sites. Site 1 airstream was plenty spacious for three of us each wanting our own bed. the counter was spacious as was the refrigerator. Microwave and toaster just steps away. Lake Arrowhead is such a short distance away we were able to attend another concert our second night. We will definitely be back!

We were told to get there early before the Los Trancos parking lot is full. We got there on a Saturday around 10:30am and there was only one row in the back with open spots. We opted to take the short walk downhill to the beach rather than wait to take the shuttle. It was a nice walk and there's a cool tunnel along the way too. The visitor center and gift shop were very nice. Everyone working there was super friendly and knowledgeable. You can tell they love their jobs. The beautiful beach was busy but clean. There's a nice restaurant there with great Bloody Mary's and food. It does get busy on the weekends.

They have both wide fire roads and single track roads that you can choose from, with varying levels of difficulty. Everything was well marked, and didn't see too many people when I went. Lots of wildflowers and native brush everywhere, glad to see it hasn't been overrun with the invasives like many other parks throughout OC.

It was getting extremely ridiculous!! I guess our state has had restrictions, idk, I think it has to do with each property owner! What if we have a vintage restored? still nobody will take it because of age. So frustrating!!! I'm sure most of you RV'ers and travel trailer/5th wheel owners know this very well and how much it can disturb you. We are not going to pay 50K+ for a new trailer when we have a perfectly good one! They really last a very long time!! So I called the owner and he was friendly, he has had this secret place for over 50 years.(not a secret now) He had 1 spot opened. My boyfriend relocated down in the area for work few months ago,so happy we found a place to take our '83 travel trailer. Didn't want to rent an apartment. The only things are one- its a very very small place- 9 units in total plus a duplex, 2-must have a smaller trailer-under 25 ft. (for several reasons- driveway and the lots itself are small) and 3- only 1 person aloud. Property is older. Not an issue for us. We fit the bill.( I visit 1 or 2 x a month) From what we have been told, he has really cleaned up the place too. Most everyone here has been here a long time, you can tell with most of the trailers. Friendly too. Thank you for this find. It really made things easier for us and finding a place for my guy. Area is great too. Everything is walking distance!!! Huge mall 1 block away and Sprouts across the street. perfect! A little loud,b/c of main street but nothing white noise can't fix. ;-)
