    I recently renewed my lease at the Villas, because I absolutely -love the location- being within such close proximity to the ocean. I consider the rent prices here to be competitively better rates compared to other apartment complexes nearby. Recently, we've been seeing improvements (New Washers/Dryers) a Concierge App, Lighting upgrades, etc and I truly hope to see it continue. I want to acknowledge Property Manager *Leo Casas* who's been instrumental in sprucing things up, amongst many other things. He -genuinely cares and advocates for the tenants- in this community & I'm grateful for everything he's done. Also a huge shoutout to *Julie Nevin* in the Leasing Office! she's got such an awesome personality & she cares a great deal about helping in any way she can. Josh Griffin has also been a great addition to the team. Love my apartment, love the location & feel very fortunate to live at the Villas.

    If I could give negative stars, I would. This has been the worst renting experience of my life, filled with neglect, deception, and complete disregard for tenant health and safety. If you are considering moving here, run. The location is not worth it, and they'll be torn down eventually. My nightmare started months ago when our kitchen flooded due to a major leak. The water soaked the baseboards and cabinets, creating black mold that management never properly repaired. Their "solution"? Spray some chemicals on it and walk away. They never replaced the damaged baseboards, never checked for moisture behind the walls, and let us live with mold for months. Fast forward to January 13, and the situation got even worse. Another massive flood hit our apartment, this time in the bedroom, soaking the carpet, padding, and walls. Instead of bringing in proper drying equipment, they left a single weak fan and refused to remove drywall or properly dry the space. My moisture reader showed dangerously high levels of water in the walls, yet they ignored it. For over a week, our home was a wet, mold-infested disaster. The carpet stayed soaked, attracting ants, and the walls continued harboring hidden moisture--the perfect breeding ground for mold. Despite multiple emails, office visits, and desperate requests for real remediation, nothing was done. Because of their neglect and refusal to make the apartment livable, we were forced to break our lease and move out. Instead of fixing the damage, they offered us another apartment, ignoring the fact that we were exposed to mold, had already suffered health effects, and had to spend thousands moving out. At first, management agreed to return our full deposit and backdate our move-out. Then, out of nowhere, Wendi backtracked, suddenly refusing to return our full security deposit after previously confirming in writing that we wouldn't be charged for paint, cleaning, or flooring. This complex has a horrifying track record of painting over mold instead of fixing it. If you rent here, you are risking your health. Future tenants of Unit 161 and any connected apartments--beware. The walls were never opened, the moisture was never checked, and I can guarantee mold is still in there. If you rent this unit, get a moisture meter immediately. They have 15 days to return my full deposit and rent refund I was promised in writing, or we will be suing. Living here has cost us thousands, and their negligence has put our health at risk. Do not rent here. Contact me if you've had similar issues :)

I found this coastaldigs.com on Craigslist just a couple days ago and thought I'd found the perfect place (both units) and if I liked it I'd see if I could rent longer. I wanted to see the unit that was left if possible and ask a couple questions voice to voice. I gave them my number (first via email and they had been texting my cell as of 6:20pm on Saturday night and I provided it again in via text though they were texting me) and asked them to call rather than text repeatedly and find the best time for both of us to meet. Today she responded with "you haven't given your number" and "do you think I just hang around here all day?" Wow that was my first clue about this persons (Dee) lack of professionalism. She tried to nail down my rental dates on Sunday. a.m. and all I asked was for her to call so I could talk in person about a couple things and to find a good time for both of us to meet. This all happened Sunday morning. After 2 rude comments to my asking for a call I said "never mind this is rude" and being a property manager myself for over 25 years I realized best not to move forward. She offered no apology at all. Their response to my comment about me being a property manager was: "Property manager.Lol" (basically calls me a liar) Next line was "Idiot." Next was "You have been an air head from day one. Grow up" then "sounds like you've had a little too much f--king." and the final comment before blocking was "Lol, go baby go" I realized this wasn't someone I'd want to deal with. I am the customer and as a property manager myself I respond kindly and call if requested rather than text. I've spent weeks with prospective clients to find they rent something else. I say thank you for considering us and maybe we can help in the future. All this horrible dialog happened today when I had hoped to figure out a time and ask important questions as I have a disability and needed to make sure the property would suit my limitations. I actually started packing a bag in case I could move in today as they wanted the 1st or the 15th only. I DID SAVE THE ENTIRE TEXT DIALOG (NOT SCREEN SHOTS BUT UNEDITED ORIGINAL ON MY LAPTOP) FOR ANYONE TO SEE FOR THEMSELVES WHAT THE TRUTH IS. I have a vacation property on VRBO as well how frustrating it can be dealing with people and their questions but people have lives and things happen yet always act with professionalism. This was a first and so disappointing as I thought I found the perfect place. I'm sure the rental would probably be fine if you can text/email and book right away. All I asked for was a voice to voice call. - Her comments below are untrue and I have reported this to yelp as I don't want this associated with my reviews. IT IS OBVIOUS BY HER RESPONSE THE LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM. OTHER BUSINESSES RESPOND WITH APOLOGIES AND PROFESSIONAL DIALOG.

I moved to Vintage Shores about a month and a half ago to be close to my daughter, her husband and my 3 grandchildren and that alone is gold but moving here I got a lot more. My apartment is so cute,with a lot more storage space than it looks like at first glance. I look forward to the weather becoming a bit warmer to enjoy my morning coffee on my patio. The beautiful,peaceful grounds are adorned with flowers and the fresh scent of ocean air. The laundry room,pool and Jacuzzi are so clean. Along with friendly people, the aroma of good coffee fills the Clubhouse in the morning. There is even a social worker available every Monday. Mina ,the Community Manager, is absolutely lovely and makes sure that everything is always attended to for the residents,making this piece of ground not just an apartment complex but a real home. Luis,who is in charge of maintenance, can fix anything around here and knows what he is doing .Everything inside the apartment and outside on the grounds and Clubhouse is so well maintained. I just love this place. I have found a little bit of Heaven right here at Vintage shores. Wendy Fremstad UPDATE:October 2023 Mina,the Community Manager, Luis who is in charge of Maintenance and Augustin who also works in Maintenance have continued to demonstrate remarkable attention to detail in the upkeep and maintenance of the lovely Vintage Shores facilities and grounds. Over the last 4 and 1/2 years all of the common areas have consistently been clean and well-maintained.Luis always has a genuine smile for all of the residents and he and Augusin are always there when they are needed. It's clear that they take great pride in ensuring the community remains a beautiful and comfortable place to call home. I so appreciate that when the pandemic first hit Mina ordered new stand alone mailboxes that were placed outside as opposed to a mail room where all of us would go to collect mail and thus keeping residents safe. One thing that truly sets Mina apart is her genuine care for the residents. I couldn't be more pleased with Mina as our Community Manager. Her dedication,willingness to help,attention to detail, and warmth have meant the world to me. We were very fortunate to meet and work Robert and to know that the designer work very well and along with Robert as our head of project (general contractor) and his team and referrals from plumbing, electrician, tiles, dry wall patching, to painting. A team of about 10 and each of them are very experienced and professional. Our two-month renovation project consisted numerous items from small to large including two fireplaces in Living Room and Dining Room, wood wall panel installation, PAX walk-in closet, bedroom door replacement, cabinet doors replacement, baseboard, bathtub glass sliding door, garage demolition and drywall installation, laundry cabinet/countertop/hanging rack, utility sink installation, PAX shoe closet, kitchen hardware replacement, TVs and speakers wall mount, and so on. Robert is very knowledgeable, attention to details, always considering items for long term use, and "zero" cutting corners. He is very thoughtful and takes into consideration from designer's plan and owner's asks and expectations as well as combining his technical experiences to make all projects practical, safe, and most importantly appealing. He is able to pivot when needed. Additionally, he went above and beyond to take care and adjust some of the minor things he saw throughout the house during renovation. Frank made sure to have the elevators had blankets which made it so nice for my movers, very professional. He made sure I had entry to my new apt and also was 100% hands on on helping my movers park in the correct spot and also answering any paperwork I was missing for my move in. He always has a smile and happy to also answer any of my "annoying" new move in client. HIGHLY recommending you meet and work with FRANK!! CASEY - wow, he takes care of the WHOLE property and as a new move-in, he made sure to take care of ALL my move in needs, replacing a bath tub stopper late last evening as I was so greatly for a bath after a long day of moving in. He also fixed 100% all of all the items on my move in list....he is so kind and patient and just resolves all the problems. GRATEFUL for you Casey!!!

Every request we've made has been handled promptly and efficiently, with genuine care and professionalism that makes a real difference in our day-to-day living. The maintenance staff consistently demonstrates a friendly, welcoming attitude and a genuine commitment to helping residents.
