A team of about 10 and each of them are very experienced and professional. Our two-month renovation project consisted numerous items from small to large including two fireplaces in Living Room and Dining Room, wood wall panel installation, PAX walk-in closet, bedroom door replacement, cabinet doors replacement, baseboard, bathtub glass sliding door, garage demolition and drywall installation, laundry cabinet/countertop/hanging rack, utility sink installation, PAX shoe closet, kitchen hardware replacement, TVs and speakers wall mount, and so on. First- his work is the best. I mean flawless. He will tell you what you need what others are doing, what IKEA will tell you and how to respond to them. I setup an appointment with Robert and he came over the same day that I had taken off to meet with the guys(Signature Services) from IKEA, flaked. He looked at my kitchen plans, looked at all of our prep work and gave me a rough quote. Like others have said, he has a great personality and is professional. The subcontractors who originally installed our kitchen cabinets did such a pathetic job that an entire section began separating from the wall and was getting ready to crash down entirely. Of all the service providers I have found through Yelp, I can say without exaggeration that he is the best find by far. GREAT WORK. This past summer, Robert installed all the cabinetry, appliances and lighting for my kitchen remodel using Omega cabinets. I've attached a few pictures that speak for themselves. He cleaned up after himself each day and always locked the doors if he was leaving before I got home. Having worked with him for some 3 weeks on the project, I can say with complete confidence that I would recommend him to my family and friends. HONEST. After working with Robert on the kitchen, I basically wanted him to do everything else in the house....but unfortunately Robert is the go to person for some local kitchen designers so he is very, very busy. I was lucky enough to have him install some bathroom vanities for my bath remodel and you know what, this was the first time a contractor ever asked me to pay less than his quote. Robert had given me a flat quote for the vanities, which price I already thought was reasonable. After he saw them and did the work, he said it did not take as much time as expected and reduced my price. I happily paid him before he changed his mind. (I live in Newport Coast so most contractors think that's a license to double or triple their price...it's sad but true). GOOD ATTITUDE. I'm a picky person and notice everything and Robert is detailed oriented, so we make a good team. Robert is also very patient and if I wanted something changed from what we originally talked about, he did it, with no attitude. From start to finish Robert was available to provide his expertise and invaluable knowledge of the Ikea products. He has installed hundreds of Ikea kitchens and it shows in his work. That's when we turned to Yelp to find someone that can handle our demolition as well as installation. Robert does it all! He went above and beyond what was asked of him. He built and installed custom cabinets for our living room and master and they are utter perfection. Wow! Cannot say enough good things about this business. Robert knows his stuff and is the consummate professional -- but is also a great guy. I bought some inexpensive, PREPAC garage cabinets, but lost my nerve when it came to installing the rail system that they hang on. The cabinets are HEAVY, and these HUGE screws need to be dead-center in the stud to support the weight; and the stud finder was giving conflicting readings. Home Depot sells these, but does not install, and had no recommendations. Did not know what to do. Thanks to Yelp, found Robert. He came on his one day off (Sunday) to install. (He also provided other installers names, if I needed help sooner!) I would have been happy paying his $100 minimum just for installing the rail system; but he spent another hour (at least), bolting the four cabinets together for extra strength, and installing/adjusting the doors perfectly (like only a professional installer can). Some of the hardware was damaged/defective, and he even fixed that. I think the guy is amazing. read more
