During work time and I am in Kaneohe. I drop by to get what I need and to check out what is new. I live Kahala and the Ala Moana location is closer. I go here on occasion for supplements as they usually have a sale ongoing, shelves are organized and well-stocked, and customer service is decent. Products are mostly of good quality. Yes, it is a corporate chain, but sometimes price and convenience "Donald Trump" principles. The TVS line, Body Tech, is currently on sale at 20% off. So, I picked up Creatine HCL. Also, got some Solaray Papaya Enzymes at a discount. I think I've been here 3-4 times in the last 1.5 years and while satisfied as a customer, there is one employee who needs to shower or do laundry on a regular basis. I mean, it is quite noticeable...I envison The Peanuts character Pig Pen and the cloud of B.O, in this case. They are open from 900a till 800p on the weekdays. Saturdays are from 900a to 500p. Sundays are from 900a to 700p. You build up loyalty points if you set up an account. Wednesday June 18, 2025 I was in the area. So, I decided to walk inside and look around as to what they have in here. I have been here many times before and bought supplements and drinks from here. I decided to buy another Blender Bottle as the first one I bought a while back from the Pearl Kai location was plastic and it doesn't keep it cold. So, I decided to buy a stainless one today. The guy said, it keeps it cold for 24 hours. Lol. I will drink it way before the 24 hours. Lol. It's BOGO 1/2 off right now. I don't need a 2nd one. But, why not for later use. Lol. Service is friendly and fast. The same guy helped me 2 days earlier. Lol. They have a great selection of products here. The value is good too. After the gym, i went to the vitamin shoppe to refill on my preworkout. In honesty, I'm a loyal customer with GNC at Kam shopping BUT unfortunately, their doors weren't open. No signage of being closed and their doors were locked but some lights in the store were on. ANYWAYS It was kind of difficult to find in the shopping center until i noticed that it was behind the gas station of the shopping center lol. It think it was the only store (besides SB and Jamba Juice) that weren't connected to the other stores that align around the shopping center. I came in and the store was clean and it smelt good! They had an essential oil diffuser that was lemongrass scented which was a nice touch. The staff greeted us even though they looked busy restocking their shelves while we were passing by. They were also changing some of the items into a special deal. I was able to get 2 preworkout supplements BOGO Free! I love a great deal. I've had total war before and I have no complaints. The caffeine is normally what i tend to focus on whenever i buy my preworkout. 250mg is reasonable and I'm excited to try theses new flavors! Total workout normally costs almost $50 per jar! So buying one and getting the other one for free is definitely a great value deal especially with this brand! There were other deals going on such as bogo 50% on other items and preworkouts. The staff here are also friendly and informative. They just told me that they don't really advertise their sales online but as far as physically coming into the store, they will add more information as to how long the sale is going to be for. Not the kind of person to post negative reviews (at all), but this was just sucky and inconvenient. Went to the shop to pick up some stuff I needed, and no one was there. I went around almost 10am, and it said they were supposed to open at 9. Around 4-5 people were there with me waiting but we decided to leave. I understand it's hard to have good workers nowadays since it's happened to my job. But I'm sure someone noticed or something. read more

The Vitamin Shoppe gives GNC some good competition. The store is so well organized and the workers are very knowledgable about the products they sell. They've been very helpful at my past visits helping my fiance and I find everything we need and recommending supplements he should try since we recently switched over from buying from GNC to The Vitamin Shoppe. We both prefer shopping here. The prices are pretty good as well. We were able to sign up for their loyalty card as well. It's free and simple to use. You don't even have to bring your card in! Not sure why but this shop is smaller than the one I'm use to in pearl city. (Therefore 3 stars) but the staff is so sweet and helpful! They were knowledgable about product (which is rare in all honestly) and didn't mind helping me even with me having 3 kids in tow. The store was also very very clean. Parking was rather easy to find as it's across windward mall and shares a parking lot with the whole shopping center (Safeway, Starbucks, Panda Express.. You get the idea). I don't know much about vitamins and supplements so it's a good thing that the guys at the Vitamin Shoppe do. The person helping us was patient, knowledgeable, and explained the differences between the products. I like the layout of the shop...It's spacious, organized and clean. They carry both their own brand and other brands so you do have a lot of choices. They have an awards card, and if you sign up they track your purchases and give you points that can be redeemed later on. The nice thing is that they will match the online sales prices. And, if you go online and download their coupons that's more added savings. read more

I attempted to run to Vitamin Shoppe to pick up children's vitamins, I was not aware of the modified hours and as I walked into the store, the store associate (Cindy) standing behind the counter told me that the store was closed. As I walked out I then took notice of the store closing at 6 and checked my phone for the time and my phone then turned 6. Hey I get it that it sucks when I customer comes in right before closing. It is a fairly large store with a reasonably wide selection, including some items not carried by similar retailers in Kailua. The store is clean, organized, and well-lit, plus the employees are helpful. It's nice that the sales associates acknowledge you when you arrive and offer to help without hovering or being pushy. The Vitamin Shoppe has a customer loyalty program; if you're like me and prefer not to carry a ton of rewards cards around, they can look up your account using your phone number to access your member benefits. I use to go to GNC at the mall all the time but once this place opened up I have given up on GNC and have become a loyal customer to Vitamin Shoppe. The majority of the time their prices are cheaper than any other supplement store and it seems the staff are more knowledgeable compare to other supplement stores. Their rewards program, which is free, is also a must have. You spend throughout the year and earn store credit at the end of the year like a reward for shopping there. I WOULD LIKE TO GIVE THIS LOCATION A BIG Z E R O. I was originally in town on my way home deciding if I should just go to the Ala Moana location, but I live in Kaneohe so it's closer for me. So as I open up the door, there's two workers, a tall skinny guy and a short girl with short hair JUST TALKING BEHIND THE COUNTER. NOT ONE OF THEM EVEN LOOKED AT ME. I get no acknowledgement that I even exist. I was in the refrigerated area in the front area and THEY STILL DID NOT ACKNOWLEDGE ME. I walked around for a little bit and NOT ONE OF THEM CAME TO CHECK ON ME. I needed to buy 2 bottles of probiotics, I already knew which ones I needed but those workers were fcking rude I just left. I was in the area and figured I'd stop in to get more Beta Carotene/Vit A supplements. I had previously got this from the Kapolei location, as it's close to where I live. However, this time I was interested in getting a higher quality supplement, something not synthetic and more organic. The manager and sales staff are knowledgeable on the products they sell. Ryan in particularly has been able to differentiate for me similar products to enable me to decide which one to buy. There is a wide selection of products. OK, so I used to shop at Vitamin Shoppe on Kapiolani Blvd, but worksite changed, so now more convenient to go to the Kaneohe store. Went there this weekend for first time to pick up my usual whey protein. Took a jar, price under the jar was $20.99, took to checkout, and it rang up for $25.99. I explained to clerk that the price was $20.99, he said I must be mistaken, so we went back to the shelf. There under this jar (as well as all similar of different flavors) clearly price tag that said $20.99. Clerk looked at fine print under the big price, and it said 'for 12 pk'...which was a box of 12 smaller packets in the shelf across the aisle. I told him he should change the price tag, and that I wouldn't pay more than the $20.99 advertised...he refused. I walked out. This was blatant false advertising. I won't be shopping there anymore. read more

I came to this location today with my fiancé (we usually go to the one in pearl Kai or Ala Moana). First off, the 2 people that were working was standing behind the counter when we walked in and no welcome at all. No acknowledgment whatsoever. They looked at us when we walked in too. I swear it was just us 2 and another couple in the store so they weren't busy at all. No one came to check on us and asked if we needed help. We were looking at supplements by their counter where the 2 associates were and still they didn't say one word to us. What they did do at the time was talk amongst themselves and the one girl that was working was eating and sitting on their counter. We decided to leave since there was no help.. and even as we were walking towards the door, they didn't say one word to us. I was not happy with the first time we came to this location.
