This store is well stocked with a full array of supplements as well as workout aids (e.g. Creatine). The staff is exceedingly friendly and shockingly knowledgeable. First time here, tried to shop local. Picked out my supplement which had a tag of 20% off. It rang up full price and then I was told it was not on sale. Ef Vitamin Shop!! I'm done! First, they modified their rewards program about 5 years ago where it USED to be worth it to buy their products. I spend about $1,000 per year,, and the only "REWARD" is either 10% off which barely covers the Tax, or BOGO in their products only. No thanks. NOW they only stock ONE protein drink, the rest of the case is FULL OF SUGARY CRAPPY CAFFEINE LOADED ENERGY DRINKS that basically have NOTHING to do with health!!! I came to this vitamin shoppe because I was looking for a particular BPI product ... and wanted it NOW! This location was the closest one to me that had the product in stock. It's located in this cozy little shopping area next to the currently being renovated LA Fitness. The store is pretty big and pretty well stocked too. It was empty when I came in. I found exactly what I needed, was in and out. The only downfall is they were advertising a free shaker with purchase of a BPI product but they were out of the shakers and I was informed they would not be getting any more. Why keep advertising something that's been discontinued? Take the sign down!! Otherwise, good place for all your supplement needs! read more

Reminded of what a great experience we had a couple months ago at this countryside, Illinois store when we were shopping today in a different state... Angelo checked us out and was super knowledgeable about everything we bought. He also encouraged us to try the alkaline water which we really enjoyed. I've been coming to this location since it opened in the winter of 2013. The people that work here are so informative and friendly!! The minute I walk in the door, I'm asked if I need help with something. If I have any question at all, they know the answer! They make me feel like no question is stupid. The associates help me determine which supplement better suits me according to my daily activity. They were out of something and told me to call back on a certain day because that's when they get their shipment in. The prices aren't too bad, but I encourage you to sign up for their healthy awards program. You will be sent e-mails when there is a discount or sale on something and coupons! You will receive 1 point for every dollar and after a certain amount you will get a certain dollar amount off your next purchase. You will also get invited to special in-store events if you are part of the awards program! Overall, a great experience here! I use to shop at the one in Berwyn, but this location is more convenient. I've been coming to this store for about 3 years. Molly and Ted are my 2 favorite staff members at this store. Molly is the store manager. They both are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and provide sound advice on various supplements and their potential interactions/side effects. They also offer holistic tips on what supplements help certain conditions. I'm often impressed by their expansive knowledge. I find the staff members at this location much friendlier and knowledgeable than other locations I've been to (IE Oak Lawn). I value and trust their opinions and suggestions. I really enjoy coming to this store. I also recommend joining the Healthy Rewards Program to save a few bucks. read more
