This location is my go to place for supplements. We have a free membership card which is nice because you get these coupons in the mail. The staff are friendly and sometimes they have samples of products to try. The place is clean and well organized and stocked shelves. The staff are also knowledgeable and will recommend different types of brands and not push for you to buy "their" brand names which is nice. I don't care much for pushy sale people. I wish that they have more than 1 person on the floor. One for helping the customer and 1 at the register. Or at least acknowledge you coming in so you know where they are at if your in a hurry. read more

This was the second location that I visited this evening. The first one was Melrose Park and the experience was not the best but it wasn't bad. I found the item that I was looking for was at the Oakbrook location and I had 30 minutes to get there. Needless to say I called prior to arriving to make sure that the item I was looking for was set to the side for me and as soon as I walked in Brandon was phenomena!!!!! His customer service is SUPERIOR, absolutely AMAZING! I would definitely recommend this location to everyone hopefully, he is working and you can experience what I did. I have been meaning to write this review for the last 6 months I have been a customer. All Vitamin Shoppes have amazing products, but I must say that Oakbrook Terrace has phenomenal people as well. The entire Team (Paula, Rechel, and many more, I cannot remember all of their names) but they all are equally friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Even the Manager greeted me and said how is that auto-ship of Bone Broth going as soon as I walked in the door, I was blown away. I barely remembered I ordered it, and he remembered out of the blue. They know their customers, they help you and they also give you space to roam around without being too close. I was between flavors on a BCAA drink and they made me a sample to try proactively. I ordered a product to be delivered to the store based on the recommendation of the store manager. A week went by. No product. I called the Customer Service Number and they had no clue where it was. The next day I received an email telling me to pick it up. I called the store first to tell them I was on my way, and they said they did not have it. They suggested I call Customer Service. I called Customer Service, and they said the product was at the store. I called the store back, and they insisted they did not have it. Who is telling the truth? Next time order from Amazon, at least they can track your order. read more

My husband and I balance our love of food and wine with daily workouts and an otherwise healthy lifestyle. We spend a lot of $ with various Vitamin Shoppes both in person and online. Today I just have to acknowledge the heartfelt, personal service I received from Boaz. I know my way around around any Vitamin Shoppe and having been a gym rat for over 20 years as well as an avid reader, I truly know supplements. HOWEVER, I am always willing to learn more. Boaz was very friendly, helpful and sincere from the moment I walked in (as soon as they opened at 10am as I was on my way to a meeting). He answered my questions, made suggestions, talked about ingredients and even looked for discounts on my behalf. It was obvious that he loves what he does and has an avid interest in helping others.
