If you need protein they got some that are ok but by far one of the lowest option vitamin shoppe i have been to!

I have been going to this vitamin Shoppe for years and I can honestly say that since this new management has taken over this is the absolute worst run store in all of the Austin area. The manager and employees do not have their finger on the pulse of what the customers want They keep in stock things that do not sell yet the things that consistently sell out they do not order more of also they have been out of shopping bags for at least the last three weeks and then try to charge you with a vitamin Shoppe bag that you have to pay for like it is somehow the customer's fault that they can't get plastic bags. Old management was way better. I would suggest you go to the Georgetown location as you will be treated better and they will probably have what you're looking for in stock. Whereas this location will not corporate needs to rethink their management decision at this location. read more

This is my go-to store weekly for my energy drinks. They always have their $1 sale conveniently located by the front door. Javy the store manager and team are always very friendly and helpful. Javy is always willing to go above and beyond to help me find what I need. It's always a great experience when I stop by there. I've worked customer service my whole life so it's something I always pay attention to when I go somewhere. Their customer service and friendliness is second to none! It seems like people are only willing to leave bad reviews so the good reviews are few and far between. This location and team deserve their recognition! Great job Javy and team! read more

My daughter and I visited this store #247 05/22/2023. The customer service we received was 10/10. Dann and Brye were amazing. All our questions were answered. I was amazed at how knowledgeable Dann was on all the products I asked about. He was never pushy nor did I feel pressured to purchase. Both associates were upbeat smiling, and happy to assist. They truly made use feel welcomed. The store was clean and well organized. Kudos to these 2. I look forward to my next vist. read more

Not a bad store. I usually buy my supplements online because lets face it you can find them cheaper online but this place is great if I need to pick something up in a pinch. Reasonable price and a large selection. I see a lot of people complaining about customer service but I've never had any issues with them. It helps to know what your looking for because not everyone behind the counter is going to be the duty expert on supplements. read more

A wide variety of health and wellness products are available. There is usually only one person present to help customers whenever I visit. I travel about 50 minutes to an hour to get to the closest store. I drink lots of water and usually need to get to the restroom by the time I get there. They do not allow customers to use their restroom. Even after I tell them how far I drive they don't allow it. I have to go to the nearest restaurant to use the restroom before I can shop at this store. This week is the third time this has happened. The first two times I went to another store instead for my supplement needs. Store is well organized and cleanliness is a 6/10. Store worker was helpful and available as much as he could be and checked on me very often to see if I required any assistance. The number of stars is for the unavailable restroom because older people and people with children may visit the store and need a toilet (for elimination) and sink (for hand hygiene) available for their use. If you're going to shop at the RR location pee before you get there or don't hydrate because you'll be out of luck if you have to use it when you get there. read more

Every time I walk in, everyone is super helpful. Not sure the guys name, prolly 20-30yo, always helpful and always goes out of his way to help me out. I appreciate this. If the service wasn't good, I would just order on amazon. Anybody complaining on this shop from a customer service stand point, is just difficult to deal with in general. read more

Just got my prenatals. Not happy with the service I just got from the Assistant manager (named Abby). She was more interested in what was going on with the other computer than checking me out. Was short, basically threw my change at me and mumbled how much I was getting back. Terrible service. I've seen her before and had the same service. Everyone else in here is usually more helpful. Maybe vitamin shoppe should focus more on customers than their programs on the computer. read more

Today was the second time I visited this place in the last 5 years and quickly was reminded why it took me so long to return. Customer service is plain awful here, I get it, a vitamin store but seems to be more geared towards body builders than the average joe. I'm in my late 30's and in fairly good shape, walked in with my wife who is 5 years younger and had our second son a month ago. There were two guys in there, both very physically fit and built, the black guy who appeared to be the manager was sitting down behind the counter looking at a computer. The both looked at us with a face of "what the hell are you doing here", the younger guy approached us after he hung up his cell phone. We asked if they carried a supplement we saw online, he immediately said they did not, walked over and asked the other guy sitting down who said no. I asked if he could look it up on the computer to see if they have it at another store, he said he couldn't do that because no access. I could see the manager was bothered by my question, we decided to look around for other items. Next a young fit guy walked in followed by a young girl as well, the manager got up and approached them, started talking to them and seemed to be helping them find whatever they were looking for. We left without buying anything, I think the employees forget that they are there to do a job and that is to serve the customer. Without the customer they would not have their jobs, there are more folks like us who want to buy vitamins and other supplements than those who want to buy protein powder. I will never return, happy to spend my money elsewhere. A similar thing happened the very first time I visited this store, they should have a sign that says bodybuilders welcomed, everyone else is not. read more

Unhappy! I purchased some essential oils and one of the bottles was open and leaking. I went back to exchange the open bottle for a new, unopened one. I also bought more oils. I returned home and noticed I was given the same leaky bottle. I want to return everything I bought, but the employee took my original receipt. I will not return to this location. read more

I have gone here for about 2-3 years now to get all of the vitamins that I have ever needed. They have a HUGE selection and their prices aren't bad. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable which is a plus and they carry all natural supplements. So if you ever need anything like Fenugreek, this is the place to go! read more

I am a new patron of The Vitamin Shoppe. I was intimidated to even go into a "health food store" as I have battled with my weight all of my life. However I am turning 40 this year and I decided I was going to take better care of myself. I went in and was assisted by Zach Camacho who educated me and took time to get to know me. He listened to my concerns and was able to find products that would benefit me and help me lose weight. I am looking forward to my next trip to The Vitamin Shop! This place is a great place to a guy like me because I can read and do not need someone holding my hand like a 2 yr old while the adult makes suggestions on what I should take to be strong. Realizing that this is a retail business that sells products instead of services like a nutritionalist, I conduct my own research on a place called the internet and draw my own conclusions on what supplements would be best for me based on the results to speed my shopping up and avoid having a staff member at the Vitamin Shoppe think for me. read more
