Parking isn't extremely bad because you can park across the street at the random strip mall areas. Inside, they have a well-ventilated area that leads to the bar and into the stage. Their bar is pretty chill just like their bartenders. The red headed chick was really really nice and gave my wife a OLIVIA RITA cocktail that she didn't skimp on the alcoholic with too! Restrooms can be a toss up mainly because of the fans who mess it up for others. The stage area is really nice with 3 video walls around some quality speakers. It's very spacious along with its nice balcony area. They had enough space to fit a cool Photo Booth and another booth for the Olivia Rodrigo swag. All in all, The Vermont Hollywood is a really nice venue. You won't expect it took look like this from the outside, but it's really nice inside!

Concert was supposed to start at 9 with entrance entry being at 8pm. Long wait time for security to check everyone. This was the most intense security check ever. Like going through the TSA lol. They had so many rules. One being no gum. I was like seriously so not cool as I had a bunch of packs in my purse. Just had hubby take my purse back to car as I didn't want to throw away anything. Also hated that they had no smoking area for ganja as other venues do when hosting reggae gigs. We finally make it in the venue. Decided to grab a few brews. For 2 tall modelo cans 18 bucks a pop. That's the most expensive beer I've ever paid for from a can. So 40.41 for 2 beers. Absolute freaking hwy robbery. Didn't go back as at that price I could buy a 24 pack at the store lol. Plus the dude working wasn't friendly at all. On to the inside of the venue. Concert was supposed to start at 9pm. They did have a DJ but he really didn't hype us up before the main event. Didn't like the setup not inviting at all. Small dance floor & it got way too cramped. Unfortunately the show didn't end up starting until 9:35 & was done around 11.20. It's an intimate venue that has multiple bars upstairs outside and inside the general admission area and downstairs. This makes it convenient so you're not having to wait in line too long or miss parts of the concert. We were in the general admissions, standing area. No matter where you are standing/seated, acoustics is good. Parking was easy, close and prices reasonable ($20) compared to today's going rates.

The views were fantastic and the seats were super comfy. I was relieved to not be standing for hours. I got out very quickly and was able to get out of the parking smoothly. When you first walk in, there is a sitting area with some comfortable sofas - really nice to wait at if you don't need to be AT THE FRONT. Venue is small anyway so view is good all around. There is where they have merch and they have a "bar" - bar just has canned beer, wine, soda. No spirits/cocktails. You walk in further - straight is the bathroom, turn left for first floor venue and right to the stairs to a small balcony. There is seating along the sides of the wall on the first floor and on the balcony. I wasn't expecting much but was impressed with the sound inside during the show itself too.

This is by far the most rude, disrespectful, aggressive, unwarranted behavior I have ever experienced by a professional in a public setting. It ruined my night and has given me an immensely negative view of the security here.

It seemed like all the spots on the street BB is located on were taken. Not sure how much parking is on the adjacent busier streets; If I were in the area I would return. However, I would start the evening at BB, not end the evening. I like to have hard liquor when I drink. It doesn't make me run to the mens room as much vs beer, and it is less filling.

Just like anywhere, you have to pay attention to time, but you can rent all the props and set pieces you want. They have a huge selection of both that they rent on an all-in per-day basis, and if you need a lot it's an excellent deal, but if you only need one or two pieces, you'll probably want to get them elsewhere and bring them in. For the one daily rate, you can use two entire warehouse spaces, a huge old-school office building and most of the back parking lot. We were crazy lucky because the weekend we were shooting, the fence separating the junkyard next door was coming down and we were able to capture some footage with an ENORMOUS pile of junk in the background. It was so cool, but odds are, you won't be that lucky.

The guests get shuttles up by elevator. I read that the venue had a strict 150 event cap. For a Filipino wedding you can only imagine how difficult that is! The couple kept it adults only. Nearest parking was the underground parking lot, Connected to LA Live. For 5 hours it cost $28-30. The venue can be as simple, industrial, or formal as you want to make it. A few months ago, we were driving all over downtown looking for an urban rooftop wedding venue. (I will refrain from bashing some of the terrible/unresponsive venue coordinators we met). We were losing hope, but randomly stumbled across The Terrace through a Google search. I decided to call and leave a message. Nick called me back within minutes and we scheduled a time to check-out the venue the next day. Our first impression - "wow, this place is cool!" Very urban, very chic, and very LA. And there are many options to do a dual-venue event (Grammy Museum, Novo Lounge, etc). However, I immediately ruled it out because I assumed we couldn't afford the venue. However, we were pleasantly surprised by Nick's willingness to work with us. Through the entire planning process, Nick and his team were so patient, responsive and helpful. He was a great communicator. When certain things got held-up/delayed, he would call just to give me regular updates. Wedding planning is stressful, so I can't thank him enough for his professionalism and responsiveness. Nick is awesome. But it's not just Nick... Ali at the Grammy Museum, Jessica at Wolfgang Puck Catering - everybody was amazing. Very flexible, very responsive, and so kind... The food was amazing, but I'll save that for my Wolfgang Puck Catering review (that Chicken Pot Pie... DAMN!). Our guests were amazed with the venue, especially at night when the city lights came on. The venue speaks for itself. Look at pictures, schedule a visit... it is a no-brainer. And I assure you, the Terrace team is amazing. You are in GREAT hands.
