Fabulous little bookstore and cafe in Blackstone! I love that they offer rental for book clubs, the space is perfect for that. It's a good size for a place to come hang out with a few people, there are tables and couches for seating. They have a bar and small cafe area in front offering pastries and small bites, coffee, tea, and alcoholic drink options. I saw many people come in to study or read, people coming in to chat and hang out for a bit, which is what my friend and I were there for. I opted for an espresso martini, and I was told ahead of time it's a bit sweeter and creamier than the usual one, a very helpful tip. I wanted to try it anyways even though I'm not a fan of sweet and creamy espresso martinis. It was good, a fun little sip, but I wouldn't have it again. My friend got a winter special, sea salt shaken espresso, which she loved. The bookstore area has a kids section and a play area. There are several different genres offered and books both new and pre-loved. They even have a sale section! They have merch including store merch, plus earrings, candles, etc. One of my favorite parts were the blind date with book packages, they were packaged so nicely and looked so fun. I love this place! Wandering page has such a great vibe! I love that they have books for sale along with the coffee bar. The atmosphere is great, although they don't have a ton of seating. I tried the dulce horchata latter and it was amazing! I loved the caramel cinnamon flavor and could still taste the great flavor of the coffee. A great local business to check out! read more

This place is suuuper cute! There is a wall full of books and a cute arch at the entrance for photos. The barista was so kind and welcoming. I ordered the lucky leprechaun on the spring menu and I loved it. Crème de menthe is something new to me and now I'm a fan thanks to this drink! Due to the streetcar construction, parking is a bit of a mess, but there are plenty of neighborhoods around the area where you can park and walk down to the coffee shop. read more

I was excited to see a bookstore open in my neighborhood, I stopped in for some book browsing. I was a little disappointed at the amount of books, I assumed more bookstore than coffeeshop/lounge but that is my mistake. I grabbed a coffee and it tasted fine. I really enjoy being at this little cafe and bookshop. The cafe serves many types of coffee drinks and pastries and you can have them while you're in the bookstore part of the place. There are many different genres of books here but on a medium scale. The even have some used books mixed in which I really like! Sometimes they don't have books you're actually looking for, but you can order them on their website. In any case, I usually end up with new books every time I go there. Got the matcha from here (not bad but thought it was a little mild in terms of taste). The coffee was a little too sweet so I wasn't able to taste the actual coffee. It's a cute place though, liked the wall of books. read more

The Wandering Page is like the bookstore I've always wanted around. One where you could stop by in the mornings to enjoy coffee, a bagel, and a book. Then, a bookstore you can stop by in the evenings to mingle with friends while sipping coffee or cocktails and meandering through their bookshelves. I absolutely love what they are cultivating here at The Wandering Page. Their calendar already has weekly Mommy meet ups, sign ups for book clubs, traditional and silent, and so many other events that promote old school reading from a book then perhaps talking about books with other like minded people. The decor is gorgeous here with their deep teal and purple walls, velvet and leather seating, and the beautiful live edge counter that brings it all together. I look forward to spending more time at this gem of a bookstore and hope that more people will check this place out along with the other businesses in The Blackstone district that are currently suffering from all the construction going on. My sister and I both enjoyed are visits here but the only thing that was of note was that our drinks tasted different from our first visit. We ordered the same thing, but I'm sure that will improve over time. I'm excited for this shop to be in Omaha and I love what it's building here. Definitely check out The Wandering Page if you love a good book, some coffee, and perhaps you're a nightowl book lover. read more

I'm so excited that we have a space in Omaha like The Wandering Page! I brought my friend who also loves books along for both our first visit and it was wonderful! The shop itself is so charming and has beautiful decor. It's so clear that a lot of love and hard work has gone into this lovely place. I bought an iced vanilla latte, and the baristas that helped me were very personable, kind, and easy to talk to, and the latte is delicious too. The bookshop half has a lot for how new the shop is! I purchased a fun romance novel and started reading it while still in the shop. The bookshop area has lots of comfy seating and perfect lighting for a cozy time spent reading. They have super cute merch too that I will certainly come back for. They also already have events planned and from what the employees said, they want to add even more. They even have a kids story time every Thursday morning. I love that they're trying to include kids into the space as well. I'm signed up for the loyalty program and I'm already excited for my next trip! read more
