Went for a standard wash and was upsold into a premium. Great job by the sales man. Poor job by me saying no Wash and detail took about an hour and a half which is fine they were busy and we knew that when we arrived. The issue comes from post wash. Exterior still had bug splatter and dirt on front of car, windows had sticky residue on driver interior, interior plastic and trim pieces were still "greasy" looking, we had to finish rubbing in the treatment they put on to give it that clean look. The whole back passenger side windows were missed, back windows still had dog nose marks on the glass. Attention to detail was very much lacking Manager was polite and apologized for the issue but for $99 you'd expect a bit more attention to detail. I think next time I'll replenish my supplies at home and put in a little elbow grease myself. read more

A friend gave me some carwash coupons to the Wash Tub. I don't remember the date of the first one but it was a nice experience. I took my car in for the second wash on July 29th. I got a decent carwash (some bird droppings were overlooked) but was told that the antennae wouldn't come off so it might get damaged. I told them it isn't the removable type and it did fine in all previous carwashes including theirs. Well, when they were done and notified me the car was ready I was greeted by the gentleman that appeared to be the Front Mgr. He said that the antenna broke and they couldn't get it back on. The gift shop at this place is the cutest, it had Christmas games, little stocking stuffers, shiny keychains, candles and more. The facility was not busy for these overlooked areas, or perhaps there was no Inspector before releasing my vehicle. There are carwashes that have air compressors to air out water from cracks to prevent water streaks. This place does not do those compressors. I watched a guy (who made clear he is a member) berate and yell at the manager, Derrick. He demanded an upgrade even after they re-ran his Cadillac through 2 times. It was very clear he was wanting a free upgrade. Derrick handled it with the grace and patience that I could never muster under those circumstances. He was determined to get it right without just throwing in a free upgrade. His attitude was "let's fix the problem!" The guy said he will make them run it through all day if he doesn't get what he wants. Definitely putting a delay in everyone else waiting around for theirs. I don't have new truck but I feel the guys on the street would probably do a better job. I am so happy I didn't get a membership I would not recommend. I mean unless you have NEW TRUCK and even then they couldn't even do a good job on rims and we all know that is extra $$. They charged me $232.50 after military discount to clean my vehicle interior and I'm frankly extremely disappointed. I brought my Mazda cx-9 in because I had a bad smell in the vehicle I wanted removed. They informed me they would detail the inside, make it smell nice and clean the entire interior. The completed results were disappointing, I had a longer than 2 hour wait, they completely did not even touch the third row seat of my vehicle, full of crumbs and stains when they were done. The passenger seat still had a smell that was not pleasant and they did not put in the A/c car freshener smell. I noticed other customers visibly frustrated as well. It seems the front desk lady was confused and slow with each person. They are disorganized, poor work ethic here. There was visible hair, smudges and crumbs on the seats still. I would not come back here and I would recommend anyone against coming here. They need a complete clean out of the staff here and need to start from scratch. The manager here claimed that they can re work my vehicle interior at another location so we will see how that goes. I used to go to the one located at de Zavala, however since last Monday January 9, after doing my business at the Social Security office at Richland Hills I decided to have my car washed, it's close by. I will not make this review long, the photos pretty much shows it all. I really had to drive further far Westside down potranco road to get free vacuum and free use of clean microfiber towels at Club Wash. I wasted $30 here at The Wash Tub plus an additional $5 cash for tipping the staff (I should have not done it but they still work, though it's not satisfactorily). I could have returned for another wash since they have their satisfaction guarantee but I have no time to deal with them anymore, decided to do the detail cleaning myself courted of Club Wash's free vacuum and microfiber towels. Well this morning as I usually do, I show up early to get in line to wash my truck at the Wash Tub at Potranco/1604. At 7:45 I had to use the restroom so walked over to the door and the door was open. I entered and announced to the two girls and two guys that I was going to use the restroom. Derrick the manager on duty proceeded to tell my that he was ONLY going allow it because they left the door open and they don't normally open until 8am. I was half way to the restroom when comes out from the counter to escort me to the restroom. I am an adult, I don't need this treatment. This pure inhumane and insensitive of him. So, I turned back and apologized and instead went to HEB next door to use their facilities. Just made it. I think Derrick should receive more management training. I also want to say that my previous experiences with Wash Tub has been top notch. I have two vehicles on the monthly plan and have been a customer for over. 20 years. I have been using them for about a month.... The fist time all was great . Since I have the monthly membership I was taking my vehicle in once a week , the next few times the vacuuming was a concern. The last one ... it seemed like I was being jumped, they keep pulling vehicles up to have them re - vacuumed they pulled two up and the line I was in is the one they kept pulling the workers off to go clean those vehicles. When I voiced my concern all I heard was excuses. Nothing about fixing the concern..... I liked this location because it is so convenient to my area... now I will ether find a new car wash or new location.... Time will tell.... Update, I had a Area Director call me .. he listened with out making any excuses . Took in my key concerns. I explained I don't mind waiting if it due to business.... I have been to this location in the past and been very satisfied. However, this time was much different. I paid for an ultimate wash and extra for the interior to be cleaned and conditioned. Instead I got a half washed jeep, dirt still inside when it should've been vacuumed, a half ass polish job and some white speckles all over the exterior from something they sprayed on it. I came to this place because it was recommended. Unfortunately it wasn't as it was hyped out to be. I paid $169.99. I asked for car wash and interior detailing. I waited 3 hours for this service when I was told it would take a hour. When I went to go ask if my car was ready, they couldn't find it. They kept asking me if I had seen it...? I was like "I'm in here" (in the waiting area, you'd think that be their job?!). I tell them my name and my cars make and model. They can't find it in the system. The dude in front asks me over and over if I have it under a different name and I told him "no". He keeps saying a different name which happens to be the woman that is behind me. And she keeps replying "no, that's me". They keep asking if I have a membership and I tell them no and that it's my first time here. At this point I'm annoyed because I've been there for 3 hours, answering the same questions over and over. I finally get my car. I noticed it has not been washed outside. The inside looks clean but certain areas are still dirty and the areas I mentioned that I really wanted cleaned were not even cleaned. I ask the guy about the outside of my car and he said they just wet it. When I had specifically asked for a car wash AND detailing. I check my trunk that wasn't even cleaned at all! The guy that I handed my keys to asked me if I wanted that cleaned and I told him yes. Well, that area wasn't even touched. Quite frankly, I feel screwed over.
