So quick and easy! I had 4 watches that needed batteries, 1 watch that had a broken clasp and needed repaired, and 1 watch that needed sized. The gentleman was quick to assess the watches and take care of the batteries and broken clasp. For the watch that needed sized (a family heirloom), he let me know how to find the appropriate links and that I could bring it in once I hunted those down to have them added. One of the owners knew the history and everything that was going on with Speidel... another shop had told me Speidel was out of business. Kim looked thru her extra links and found a pattern we liked and added them to an already large band. The next day I needed a couple more links added and Jake was kind enough to do that. The shop is clean, well decorated, and the man who helped me was very nice. He resized my watch and set the time in less than five minutes, and the fee was extremely affordable. I was looking to replace a battery on my husband's watch. Batteries Plus was the old standby, but their batteries do not last. I went to the mall and found this business to have a pleasant, young woman, who acknowledged me as she was finishing up something else. She then proceeded to fulfill my request and said there was a warrantee on the battery for 1 year. In the future I will go here and for our next watch purchase. Arrived hoping just to drop off my watch to get it repaired for suspected water damage. However, the guy working there opened it up right then and there, analyzed it, and fixed right on the spot. Grant it, it was a simple fix, but he took the time out right then and there to assess it, saw it was a quick fix, fixed it, and I was in and out of there in no time. Dont try and return anything here. We had an issue with their 14 day return policy as we live out of town. Called and let them know that we wanted to return the braclet but would be 3 days late. They told us to come in when we where back into town and they would see what they could do. At first they where hesitant and wanted to give us a store credit. Then she informed us that there was a scratch on the braclet so it couldnt be returned. The braclet had never left the box that they had put it in. After threating small claims court she agreed to the return and told us they where going to lose money because she couldnt sell it with the scratch. I went back the next morning and of course it was in the case. read more

I ordered a NATO band for my G-Shock on Amazon. The band slipped without the adapter and I was left trying to fit the stock band on with my pocket knife. Needless to say, it didn't work very well. Called up these guys and they fit my stock band at the front counter in a few seconds, right before before closing and the nice lady didn't even charge me. I went here 2 days ago to get some watch bands replaced as well as get a face on a watch re-glued. The men that helped me there were very professional and personable as well, which is unfortunately too rare of a quality these days. I took my watch in to be resized and the kid in there first said he could then realized he wasn't able to (no big deal usually) but he never attempted to look up how to do it. He told me to bring it back when a different person was there on Monday (again, no big deal). Then when giving me my watch back he proclaimed very loudly that since he couldn't figure it out then my (very expensive) watch MUST be a fake. Then he spouted off "facts" about this specific brand that I know are not true for this model. Bottom line is the customer service is completely unprofessional. Seriously, even if someone brought in a fake or "replica" watch they should not be made to feel horrible about it. read more

Awful customer service. I walked by this place at the mall the other day, and noticed they had tungsten wedding bands in the window. My husband's wedding band is chipped, but it also no longer fits anyway, so I was interested in buying him a replacement. At the same time, I was curious if they could do repair my chipped band. I walked into the store and managed to flag the attention of the guy, who looked annoyed that I was interrupting the flow of his conversation and asked with exasperation, "Yes?" That should have been my first clue that the guy had no interest in my money. I started explaining that I had wedding bands I was looking to get repaired, but before I could finish asking my question, he interrupted and said no. He was helpful enough to inform me that Fred Meyers probably did repair work. I thanked him and then started to say, "Also, my husband has a tungsten wedding band that is chipped--" and he immediately interrupted me and said, "Tungsten can't can't be repaired." I smiled and said, "Right, I know. Anyway, the ring is made of tungsten and it no longer fits--" and he interrupted me AGAIN to tell me, "You can't re-size tungsten." After being interrupted three times with such a rude attitude, I got pissed. I testily told him I was aware that tungsten cannot be repaired or resized because I did the research before I bought the first band, and that while I had come into his store to buy a replacement, his attitude of assuming that the customer was an idiot guaranteed I would elsewhere, and I did. I am very disappointed in this outcome, because I later found out that the person I interacted with is actually the owner. That's his idea of customer service? I run my own business and I cannot imagine treating my customers like that. Even if I thought it was okay to assume the average customer knows nothing about what I sell, I certainly wouldn't go about interrupting them in the process of the sale, particularly in such a condescending way. It seems to me my only sin was daring to be a 29-year-old mom interrupting his conversation with a hot-bodied, underage college co-ed. So that's fine, Watchman; Fred Meyers was happy to sell me a new tungsten wedding band, as well as repair my band. The hundreds of dollars I spent over there could have been yours, but thanks to your behavior and treatment of me, we're officially a Fred Meyers family. That you pointed me in their direction is the only reason you are even being awarded two stars. read more

Bought an old Seiko watch at the thrift store but couldn't find the battery in store so I decided to stop by the shop and Nicole was a tremendous help. She let me know right away that the watch had defects once she opened it up and there was a chance that something else might be wrong with the watch but regardless she got it to work. I've never reviewed a place before but she provided such a high level of customer service that I just had to. I had called them and asked if they could preform a pretty common modification to a Seiko Watch I just had purchased. I had purchased all the tools needed to DIY it, however I feared I'd scratch or mess something up. There are plenty of videos on YouTube showing how simple it is. If you don't believe me just search "how to remove Seiko skx007 bezel". Also asked them to install a different crystal. They said they could do it. Took the watch in. Jake the guy who does the work called back the next day, said he couldn't do it and to come pick the watch back up. Came back to pick it up and they said if they continued to try and complete the modification they would surely scratch the watch. I left blindly trusting them. Arrived home and discovered a deep gouge where Jake was trying to remove the bezel. The watch was pristine, it was just purchased. Called them and requested they buy the watch from me. They offered nothing to remedy their error, and was fully aware that the gouge wasn't there when I first brought the watch in. I wouldn't recommend you take any watch to them that may have sentimental value. Nor would I recommend you ask for any service beyond a simple battery change. read more

Great selection in store. If they don't have it they can order it. Prices are not as good as online but the staff is friendly and fast. If you purchase the watch from them you get awesome customer service and watch servicing that you can't get online. They always have what I need and if they can't repair your timepiece they can recommend someone local who specializes. read more

i came in in hopes of getting my watched resized and it was a lady who attended me, so i show her the watch and she begins working on it and at first she makes it shorter but it was still loose so i ask if she can make it tighter. after a while she seems frustrated and then she gives me my watch back not even fixed and with a piece broken off and she basically gave up and expected me to fix it now, i will definitely never come here anymore read more

Take your watch here if you want it BROKEN!!! I brought a $275 watch here that I purchased in 2007 and NEVER had a problem with to get links added. The girl took the watch and added one link to each side. She used a special hammer thing to complete the work. She did it right in front of me. When she gave me back my watch it was so bent that it wouldn't even come close to fastening back together. When I told her it was so bent it wouldn't snap closed she said, "I didn't do it, all I did was add the links which wouldn't cause that". I told her I saw her hammer and she broke my watch which was clearly not broken before I went there. I had it on my wrist when I walked into the store and took it off and gave it to her closed as well as the links I had saved in the box. She took it and started bending the metal to get it to fasten back together. I've had problems with it ever since. I got the work done on 7/14/14 and I don't know if it is worth the hassle of having these people, who clearly don't know what they are doing, touch my watch again to try to fix it. Lesson learned. DON'T GO TO A CRAPY MALL STORE TO GET YOUR WATCH FIXED. read more

Brought a brand new Nixon watch there to have links added. Not only did they bend 2 links and scratch the heck out of one side, they tried to hide it. Didnt see damage until I wore watch for first time next day. Terrible integrity, and now I have a new watch that looks like Ive had it for years and beat it up:(. read more
