Best wax place in Midtown/Downtown! The owner is so kind and professional. The wax used is high-quality (it leaves me hairless for longer, which is some kind of miracle!). There are also great products on sale, but there's no pressure to buy them if you don't want to. I've been to this place a couple of times and it is by far my best wax experience. So glad I found the Waxing Crescent on Instagram! Jazmin is an absolute delight. Very efficient and thorough and has a very comforting demeanor. She sees me in my most vulnerable position and makes me feel like we've been life long friends. Her set up is cute, welcome area is well, welcoming! The only thing to note here is if you are being waxed in the wax room, your voices carry into the waiting area so be mindful of that if you're worried about anyone who may be waiting, hearing your conversation. The actual wax room is great. Cool temperature which I love, esthetically pleasing, and for those a little unsure about what to talk about during your appt Jazmin has a board posted that she updates with information about her current interests which allows some options for conversation topics. I also love the sturdy high quality table she uses. Jazmin also offers modifications for positions if you have mobility challenges. Post appt there is no pressure to buy product or rebook, although I know you'll want to rebook. Jazmin is a gem! read more
