I text Nikki Saturday AM…read moreto see if she had openings during the weekend (I found her strictly by searching here on Yelp). She replied right away, saying none at the moment, but would let me know if anything opened up. After an hour, she text back saying there was an opening Sunday AM, and I confirmed I would take it! Upon arrival, I text Nikki to let her know I was outside in my car, and to let me know when she wanted me to come in. About 10 minutes before my appointment, she called saying come on in. Once inside, she took my temp, and was masked. All customers must also be masked. The business is located in Sakura Massage Salon, and Nikki had her own room. Since my appointment was for full lash extensions, I was anticipating it would take the usual 2 hours, but it ended up only taking 1 more. Don't get me wrong, Nikki was quick, but she did not cut corners; she knew what she was doing. Because I wanted natural w/ volume lashes, I think we decided to go with the mink lashes (length: 11-12). So happy with how they turned out! Before I left, I was able to make an appointment for a 3-week fill. Nikki is super nice, and definitely happy I tried her!

They were even and nicely distributed, shorter than what I usually get but the quality was good. For $65 they were a great price. My natural set was light and not at all too heavy for my lashes. Nikki was patient and very fun to talk to. But I had some issues with the final product. I came in as a new customer and requested the discounted price for the 6D Volume Mink Lashes, which at the time was $65. After talking to Nikki and explaining that I wanted something natural, I received what seemed to be the mink single lashes. To me, 6D has no other definition then a single lash with split ends (multiple lashes at the end). This was not what I got... When I asked her about it, she explained that that type of lash was old school and no one used those anymore. I've seen other lash artists and they still use 6D. I received single lashes but were being passed off as 6D. She did say she stacks multiple singles to create volume versus the split ends, but I think it's misleading. If that's the case, I think it should be advertised as Volume Lashes with a range of dimensions listed (3-6 or whatever is available) not just 6D because the amount of how many multiple false lashes on one single natural lash depends on the individual. Clearly mine were SINGLE lashes. Anyway I updated this review because after some thinking and reviewing my original rating, I thought that her explanation was not at all sufficient.

My technician suggested I go with the "natural" lashes instead of the "gorgeous" ones and I'm so happy she did. They look fabulous without being over the top. I've been getting so many compliments on them. The process was comfortable and I didn't feel anything the entire time. Pro tips: 1. Bring headphones! You can't talk or open your eyes for at least an hour. 2. It is freezing. (I was told it was set at 65 degrees.) They do provide blankets but I suggest bundling up! 3. They sell you a "lash wash" that they say is necessary for lash longevity. This is literally a soap that you put in your eyes. It stings and I'm not convinced it does anything. Do your research and decide if you need this extra purchase. Four stars instead of five because I waited about 30 minutes past my appointment time to start. We will see how long the lashes last and what happens as they fall out but so far so good!

I got there, checked in, and waited for a bit. They still took me a few minutes after my check in time, so don't plan too close to any other obligations you have! I had booked the appointment maybe 1 week in advance online. They did take a deposit, which is to be used towards your appointment. They take you to a large room where there are multiple chairs, so it's not exactly separated from other clients (like other places I've been to that do lashes). The lady who did my lash lift did not talk much but she seemed nice...maybe asked a few questions or mentioned a few words but that was it. It was also kind of assumed I had done lash lifts before because I don't recall being told to keep my eyes closed the whole time, even though I knew to do that. I had to kind of had to pay attention to what was happening to take cues on when to open my eyes. The lady doing my lashes was pretty gentle, such that I dozed off a bit. My lashes looked great afterwards. You have to keep from washing your eyelashes for 24 hours after. If you've never had a lash lift done, they might look unnatural, but I think that comes from how wet they look in pictures immediately after they are set with the perming solutions, but when they dry, they look like normal lashes, but just lifted. Anyway, they give you a complimentary little spoolie to brush them. Overall, it was a good experience, and I do plan on coming back.

She explained everything as she went, and mid wax she had me laughing and not nervous. She then also did my tan, which I chose the lightest color since I'm fair skin. The tan is cold but goes quick, and dried quickly as well. Looked natural and not streaky. My Brazilian by the next morning looked so good, no more redness and they apply these really awesome smelling oils at the end. Did I mention they have a loyalty punch card!
