I came with a friend and this place is extremely professional, clean, and organized. You can tell the owner knows exactly what she is doing. After talking to the owner, I realized that this shop is specifically catered to the Korean/Asian American audience, because many of her dresses are imported from Korea. She has quality dresses that cater to the asian body, and even in terms of selection, there is a huge variety. FYI, the owner is also more comfortable with Korean, but even then, she really puts in the effort with her English to accommodate to her customers. Highly recommend! I personally wasn't a fan of the idea of purchasing a wedding dress because I simply didn't see a point of purchasing something that you would only wear once. In Korea it is more common to rent your wedding dress and when I heard this shop specialized in wedding dress rentals I decided to give it a try and it was the best decision ever! There are a lot of options to choose from (design, material, neckline etc). If you tell them what your vision for the wedding is and what you are looking for in a dress, they will make sure they find you the perfect dream dress. They have different packages depending on how many dresses and tuxedos you are looking to rent. They also have many different tiaras, headbands, veils, earrings for rent too, I ended up renting 3 dresses and 3 tuxedos for ceremony, reception and wedding portrait. I got married on March 8, 2025 at Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim, CA. The shop owner helped me pick out the most gorgeous princess dresses that went perfectly with the Disney theme. Both the owner and her assistant were incredibly good at what they do. Their prices were also very fair. They took good care of us and were very efficient. The clothes were all perfectly fitted for the entire wedding party. Everything was thoroughly communicated and checked off. We paid a little extra for a helper (Doona Kim) who came to the venue and took care of everything related to clothes, especially the bride's clothes including but not limited to changing in and out of the ceremony dress and reception dress, following the bride around everywhere and fixing every small detail, helping with every photo opportunity, helping with the bouquet. This is an overdue review since my wedding was last year. I've always personally preferred renting a wedding dress instead of buying one. I wish I had known about this place and came here first before renting a dress from another shop. The owner is quite professional and works with the bride on preferred styles and what would look best on the bride. Some might find her feedback style as blunt but I appreciated her input because it really did end up making me look good on the day of my wedding. I ended up wearing this dress as my ceremony dress as it is very gorgeous and fit well and the other rental dress as a reception dress. We recently went to this business in hopes that the bride could find her dream dress. Little did we know that we would be severely disappointed and disgusted by the service. Although the bridesmaid and I did not understand Korean, we could immediately tell that the staff's tone was completely unprofessional and condescending. We could tell by the look on the bride's face that she was already feeling uncomfortable and disappointed too. After reassuring the bride that she should at least try on a few dress styles since we were there, we followed them to the show room to wait for dress #1. Once staff came behind the curtains, they rudely told us that we couldn't take pictures/video. Excuse me, but how is the bride suppose to remember and compare dresses if she can't see pictures?! First of all, this is my $500 Yelp review. I am hoping all brides find this review helpful and never have to go through what I have experienced. A day that is supposed to be one of the most memorable and exciting day for a future bride ended up with me bursting in tears inside the dressing room, in a wedding dress, and wearing a crown on my head. I felt belittled, degraded, frustrated, and most importantly, helpless. My MOH and I went for first fitting on Friday, 07/15/22 and I already mentioned to the lady that I may be changing my reception dress. I was also kind of unsure of the ceremony dress but confirmed with her that there was no other appointment behind us for that evening so that I don't mess up anyone's schedule. When I mentioned about changing the ceremony dress, she said you can't really do that because we've been putting this dress on hold for you. Usually, there is extra charge when you do that. Okay, I get it. The delivery wasn't the nicest and me not having a lot of experience with how dress shopping works, kind of took in her behavior. Should have realized when I first had that sour taste in my mouth. I was inside the dressing room and can hear my MOH asking if we can try on these dresses. Most of the responses I heard was, that one's taken, it's too big for her, it's too small for her, it's reserved, and etc. Despite the frustration, my MOH kept her cool and continued to politely ask if I can try on dresses and persistently asked for more dress options. There was one dress I was interested in and the first thing I was told once again was that one is taken. If I wear the dress, I need to be very careful and only wear for 30 min for ceremony, take off the dress, and make sure there is no damage whatsoever. Wait, wasn't the first thing she told me when I walked in was we've been putting your ceremony dress on hold so other brides can't wear it? Then why is she giving me an option to rent a ceremony dress that is already reserved? It's because it's rental and unless the dresses are particular and unique, alterations can be done so that the brides can wear them as long as there is enough time for alterations and the dates don't overlap. Anyways, moving on. From the ones I've tried on, it seemed like the best option. I said yes for now and the asst brings out one crown and places it on my head. One crown. Aren't you supposed to show me what options you have and let me take a look at the collection and explore my options? The crown was on my head for literally two seconds and she goes you want this? That's when I burst in tears. I am paying my money for an enjoyable experience and professional assistance in finding a perfect dress for me. I felt rushed and being taken advantage of. When I burst into tears, the asst started to freak out and bring me water and ask me if I was okay. The lady doesn't come to me at all when obviously she knows I was crying. She quietly appears after things settle down and then starts to finally bring more dresses for me to try on to now look for my second dress. Not a single word of sympathy and just totally disregards the fact that I was bawling just few mins ago. Most of the dresses now being brought out were reserved already so they either don't have a lot of options or they are so busy that ALL of their dresses were booked which I highly doubt. I chose my second dress hastily. The lady is going on a business trip and wanted me to get my first fitting done so that I can pick up my dress in early August when my wedding is towards the end of the month. Okay, fine. But here is the kicker. Apparently, the ceremony dress I chose is a particular one when once alterations are done, you can't really make more adjustments. She asked me you're not planning on gaining any weight right? And don't lose weight either. Once the dress is done, it's done. Ok, hold up again. Final fitting for dresses can literally be done up to a few days or a week prior to the wedding. Telling me I shouldn't either lose or gain weight and I pick up the dress 3 weeks prior to the wedding because you're going on a business trip? With this bizarre feeling, we left for the night and I couldn't help but feel so wronged and disrespected. I slept it off and woke up this morning hoping I would feel a little better but no. I sent a text asking to please cancel my contract. I felt wronged. You can keep the deposit for taking the time to show us dresses. And the response I got via text? "Yes, okay." No sympathy again whatsoever. Some of you might wonder why I gave up my $500 deposit. Don't get me wrong. $500 deposit is not a small amount to drop but I will consider it as charity. During Covid, my original dress shop combined businesses with this place so my acct just rolled over. It was a deposit I paid few years ago prior to the merge. It's honestly really sad that I have to go this route when I should really be supporting our local small businesses. Good luck with your business. You will need a lot of it. read more

At first I had a style in mind but the owner suggested trying out different dresses which actually looked better on me : ) I rented one for the ceremony and one for reception and they all came with accessories (Earrings and hair pieces) that matched the dress really well. My husband also rented the tuxedo and he was also able to find what looks best on him based on their suggestion. But Jiah helped me get through it really smoothly :) and the owner who fitted the dress showed great attention to the details and made sure the dress not only fitted right but looked right as well. All the fitting was really fast and smooth too. And also they were really good at following up with our next meeting schedule. On the wedding day, I had to move around a lot with the puffy dress but Again Jiah helped me a looooot to make it easier and smoother. 2.5 stars, rounded up. The Wedding House owner was generally a lot more welcoming and friendlier than other Korean-owned wedding shops that my now wife and I visited around k-town. The other reason we decided to go with a package from Wedding House was the price. We visited about 3 other shops before coming here. Since she was able to try on some dresses that she liked, that plus the much better price were what eventually led us decide to spend our money here. Our package included rental of 1 bride's ceremony dress, 1 bride's reception dress, 1 groom's suit, suits and dresses for 3 groomsmen and 3 bridesmaids, and a ring bearer. Overall, everything was mostly fine, but there were some details that took away from being a 5-star experience for us. First of all, most of us in the bridal party went in for a couple different fittings, but when trying on all of our clothes (after the final fittings), the bridesmaids dresses were a little tight (almost uncomfortable) and the dress shirts for the groomsmen were very loose. The guys were practically swimming in those shirts (one of them just ended up bringing his own white dress shirt from home that fit properly). My bride's dress was fitted while she wore these really high heels provided at the shop, but she didn't wear those same heels for the wedding, so the dress ended up dragging and getting caught a lot more than we expected. For a lot of people who get married, I think it's the small details that help make a wedding go from pretty good to absolutely wonderful. After having already been a customer at The Wedding House, I'm not sure if I can say that they have that higher level of attention to detail. read more

I got married last month, and I recommend this place~! Wedding house is a wedding dress shop in korea town, but it's like a "multi" wedding shop - Not only they have many wedding dresses and bridesmaid dresses to choose from, they also have in-house photographers, make-up artists and hair stylist at the spot. You won't have to hop from a hair salon to a dress shop, at the busy wedding day morning.. Here, the make up artists and hair stylist will be there at the spot waiting for you on your wedding day. and your photographer is also there, so they will bring your framed photo, to display at your wedding venue. It was really convenient to do everything at the same spot..!!! They also are connected with outside vendors for wedding invitations, florists, han-bok (korean traditional dress) and jewelries..for a very very discounted price! Although I didn't do my flower and invitations here, I think it's pretty convenient to do everything in one spot especially when you don't have much time to research and get around. Their bundle package is awesome as well - there are a few options depending on how many dresses you want to rent (some people want 3 dresses because they want 2 dresses for their engagement photoshoot + 1 dress for the wedding day). For example if you chose the "2 dresses package", they let you choose whatever dress you like - whether the dress is $3000 worth or $2500, they still let you rent it as long as it is 2 dresses. Usually other wedding shops limit your choice, if you choose a cheaper package.. My favorite part of this shop is their photographers~ I visited 3 photo studios in korea town, and they were pretty good, too, but wedding house's portfolio my favorite! First of all, they are super kind. Secondly, they will gladly travel far for engagement photo shoot, up to Irvine area, according to your preference. (from LA to Irvine is quite far.. you know..) and They seem to create different shots even if it is the typical wedding photo venue. Also they will gladly work after sunset, if you want a night shot - which is really impressive. They will also do some photo edit job without extra cost. This place is terrible! I made an appointment for a dress fitting based on other yelper's raving reviews and to my surprise, it was everything but amazing!! There were two ladies that worked there at the time I went in with my future mother-in-law and future sister-in-law. One of them was named Chloe. Chloe greeted me and immediately asked me what I liked/wanted. When I told her I wanted a semi-sweet heart neckline she seemed annoyed and said that they didn't have anything like that and directed me over to the dresses on the racks and a room in the back with a bunch of dresses and told me to look myself, then she walked away. So I just looked on my own, first on the racks out in the front of the store, then in the backroom. The backroom was so disorganized and clustered, I was getting lost in there! She left me in there a few mins and by this time I was already frustrated about the terrible customer service I was getting, Chloe came back and to "check" on me. "How's it going in there?" like she's my mother waiting outside the bathroom stall making sure I didn't fall into the toilet. I asked her how the dresses are organized and she said they aren't organized in any way. I asked her if she would recommend some dresses for me to try on and I again, told her what I like and I even found an example of a semi-sweet heart neckline on a dress and showed her. "That's NOT a sweet heart neckline" was her response. "I could recommend something to you but you aren't going to like it, so you look yourself" and again, she just left me to find my own dress. So I just found a random dress and asked to try it on, so she and the other lady that worked there helped me get the dress on. While they were dressing me they would speak to each other in Korean and it was really suspicious that they were talking about me. (But take that comment as a grain of salt, maybe they weren't talking about me, maybe this is just me being angry and paranoid...). So I got the dress on and it looked ok, I showed my in-laws and then I realized I didn't have another dress to try on. So Chloe asked my in-laws to search through the racks and find me stuff to try on. So they did and I tried on a total of 4 dresses (which we all picked out ourselves). They really seemed like they didn't want to even let me try on dresses because the 4th dress my mother-in-law handed to me, Chloe said "Ok, last dress!". What the F*** is that?!?!? This was just 15mins into my appointment! Seriously?!?! I'm still trying to be nice here, so I just said the last dress looks good, I wanted to talk price with them. So I changed back, Chloe talked prices with me and again, it seemed like she didn't even want to answer my questions. There were packages that she showed me that were super cheap to rent, $900 for dress, veil, accessories, alterations, the whole package, but I would NEVER rent from here! If they are going to act like they don't want my business, why should I give it to them?!?!? I only spent a short 25 mins there but my appointment was for an hour! I felt like they were pushing me out the door!! I don't even know why I stayed as long as I did!! I really really try not to write back reviews on yelp because I do understand it's a business and everyone has their bad days but come on!! Their dresses are new, stylish and very clean. They even have korean designed wedding dresses but most of them are puffy gown like. HORRIBLE PLACE! Do not go here! The old lady got the bms measurements and did not measure us correctly. I'm 5'7 wear size 4-5 and she got me a size 2 dress...WTF is that?! then she has the guts to say that i gained weight? also, when getting measured she measured extra tight then asks you if your gonna lose anymore weight..wth would you ask that? I came here with my fiance and future sister-in-law this past weekend. Loved all their dresses, owner definitely has a good taste. Very reasonably priced and offers many different packages to choose from. What I loved most about this shop was that they didn't try to sell you or pressure you into making a commitment right away. We had another appointment at a different shop and she actually suggested trying on different dresses to make sure I would choose my perfect dress. The owner was super patient and helpful. We ended up coming back and I'm so glad I tried on a lot of dresses and visited many different shops beforehand. I was more sure the dress I picked was "the one". I ended up renting both my ceremony and reception dress, tuxedo, and 5 bridesmaid dresses. It was a really good price compared to all the wedding dress shops in Koreatown and on top of this, all the accessories are included in the package for the bride.
