A friend and myself dropped in for the community acupuncture. 2-8 pm . We arrived at around 5:45 . Walked in and read all of the signs, and headed down stairs. The waiting area is a little tight, there were 3 other people waiting. Jenna greeted us and asked if we were her for community acupuncture, she took our payments and gave us paperwork. We were escorted to community room since all the other chairs were taken. The community room is sort of tight. 4 comfy chairs and ottomans in each corner, with enough room Jenna to scoot through the middle and to the sides of our chairs. There are several white noise machines and fans. Once it was my turn, Jenna approached and I ask why was in to be treated. I explained all of my issues, then she asked to see my tongue and took my pulse. She proceeded to go around a insert the acupuncture needles. As she was inserting them, she would tell me to take a deep breath. As she finished, she explained that she would like the needles to be left in for about 30 minutes. I was so relaxed I would have fallen asleep... except that dang on door.. is so creaky ( Dear The Well, get some WD 40 for that squeaky creaky sticky door) I will be back!! Im hoping to book for a massage soon Hint to anyone reading that maybe going: - Wear loose clothing - This is not a quick thing, you are not in and out. If there are four chairs and you are the last on being treated its going to take awhile. Having the small conversation, taking pulses, the needle process takes about 10 minutes x 3. Then your own process and waiting the 30 minutes.

Trying to destress with some community acupuncture at The Well....

My favorite part is the vitality pool, heated stone chairs, sauna, and lounge. It was great to relax with those amenities. Everything was extremely clean. The vitality pool/sauna area is separated by gender and clothing optional. However, phones are allowed, and while it is fine to have one in a robe pocket, phones should not be out when others are around, especially in an area like that. But that is allowed, so be wary. Our massages were fine, but nothing we would rush back to or pay for again. I'd want to try a body scrub or wrap, my typical spa service. I'd also love to visit in warmer weather and use the outdoor pool. I am very much looking forward to returning.

Omg I would give -1 stars if I could. My husband had to go…read moreout of town for a funeral and wanted to plan something special for me for Mother's Day. He doesn't know anything about spas or pricing, so he called over to the four seasons. All they had available was a 20 min hydrofacial (bc it's a busy day, duh). The issue is that they charged THREE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY FIVE DOLLARS (yes, you read that right - $375) for a 20-MINUTE hydrofacial. Aka someone rubbed lotion on my face for 13 minutes. when I inquired about this very exorbitant bill, they said - this was the price agreed upon via email, according to our dynamic pricing. (In a very rude, snide tone, with a fake smile). I called my husband who said - yes, I agreed to that, but I was told you would have access to very nice amenities for several hours. LOL! Very nice? Yes, I know the four seasons name SHOULD have very nice amenities. This locker room was so small and so crowded that I couldn't even walk 1 step without bumping into someone. The person giving us a tour kept apologizing for how messy it was ("sorry, it's a really busy weekend for us") - no towels out, etc. there is a small hot tub - sorry, that's not exactly novel. There are two lounging areas. One with three chairs that look out onto... nothing, just a window with frosted glass that you can't see through. Six lounging chairs, and one small table outside that does have a nice view. (This is the only view in the entire spa). They have a small sauna room also. Nothing out of the ordinary, and not up to expectations for what is supposed to be a four seasons spa. On top of that, every single person in that spa was sitting/lying scrolling on their phones. In what world are phones allowed in a spa, let alone in a "clothing optional" hot tub room??! So I paid four hundred dollars for 13 mins of a facial massage (which WAS nice) and then sat outside at a random table for an hour. left quickly because there wasn't anything else to do to kill time. I just cannot believe that a place can charge that much for a service. Totally inappropriate, waste of money, do not recommend.

The robe is big but thin, and the sandals were super comfy. The space itself is pretty large and very quiet, the paint and decor have a really relaxing, mindful effect. I highly recommend him, he is an expert! After 90 minutes with hot stones and bamboo sticks, I was very relaxed. I'll absolutely be back!

I went to change out of my street clothes for their gown and slippers and well, I could not fit either. I was confused, no one had asked my size so I figured the items would be fit most? Im an XL and that robe could not go around, the slippers were like a size 7. The kicker was you were supposed to undress to sit in a coed waiting space with a direct line of sight for thr front door. I was very uncomfortable. I thought for sure I must have missed something. I went back and grabbed a towel (that also did not.wrap around me) to cover anything exposed. The massage itself was a good one technically, but the room was hard to relax in as I could hear cars passing by in traffic and passersby on the sidewalk talking. Personally, I am drawn to go back but I highly suggest some additions to have all guest feel welcomed in the space.

I was under the impression that they were more expensive than other places but once I began my membership I realized I was completely wrong. I automatically pay each month for a 60min massage and I can add additional massages at the membership rate if I get impatient and need another massage inbetween my regular appointments. I accidentally scheduled my appointment with Joe when I made my initial appointment and am so glad for that! He is amazing! When I say accidentally, I just mean that I intended to schedule with a female therapist but then selected an appointment time on Joe's schedule. They called me to confirm if that was okay and I just rolled with it. I have been seeing him at least once a month ever since. I have been getting massages since before I even had a license. Joe is the most consistent therapist I ever had. I prefer deep tissue massages and I get just that...for the entire 60 minutes unlike some massages where only here and there feels good. Joe is professional and always checks in before each session to determine if there are any specific spots he should focus on. Prior to leaving I always get my next appointment on the calendar. The customer service here is great. Because they are super small and don't always have someone at the desk, I typically have to leave a message when calling. I always receive a call back within the hour. I have had to call to reschedule an appointment or two and never had an issue. I highly recommend checking them out. If you are a deep tissue person, give Joe a try!
