Dr. Stacy Ruhland and his colleagues (names?) volunteered at the NorthShore Triathlon on Sunday, 9/16, offering post-race massages. There were long lines but he was well worth the wait. Dr. R. shared skilled stretching and massaging that decreased my post-race pain and made me more limber than I would have otherwise have been. I found Dr. R. to be extremely knowledgeable, capable, and thorough. He knows how to zero in on that one key area (shoulder for me) to remove knots and kinks. Dr Tracy is always able to help get rid of my neck and back pain; she knows just what adjustments are necessary. If you like, they send out emails telling which doctors are available each day and the times available. I have found this to be very useful. We have come here for decades. We have tried other chiropractors and physical therapists and always seem to end back at the wellness revolution. Even though it is a 30 minute drive. Dr. Tony and most of the doctors are athletes. Their sports massage is a little tough to get an appointment, but excellent. Dr. Tracy Fleege is keenly observant, intuitive, and knowledgeable. By asking a few questions and looking at me, she knew exactly where my back pain was located and what she needed to do to provide relief and care. The office is equipped with various chiropractic tables for the doctors to do their healing work. There are also a row of massage chairs in the waiting area for clients to relax before and after care. I stayed in my chair for an hour after my adjustment without any hassles or hurries from staff. There are also professional massage therapist in the large office, and a number of private therapy rooms. The office is currently going through some minor painting and repairs, taking away from the calm ambiance of the place, but I can see the possibility of a wonderful place to heal and relax. I also inquired about insurance coverage, which appeared to annoy the front desk staff. She said her system wasn't working and would have to get back to me in a few days... I've had nothing but great experiences here, from the very welcoming staff to the amazing chiropractors. My first visit there was due to my back going out on me 5 days prior. After having spent three days bed-ridden, and because the chiropractor I'd been seeing was closed on weekends, I was able to book an appointment to see Dr Jerry. I went from needing assistance to walk into the office to being able to walk out without assistance in just one visit. Dr Jerry was kind and patient, took the time to listen to my long history of back issues, and then made some adjustments that felt very tailored to me and my situation on that day. Since then, I've also seen Dr Tony, and likewise, he's a super nice guy who always seems to tailor his adjustments to me based on whatever I'm experiencing that day. I never thought chiropractors really worked until I messed up my right shoulder a few months ago when my 3 year old threw his weight unexpectedly while being carried by my right forearm, the pain was so bad that I could only use the bottom half of my arm as long as my elbow stayed stuck to my hip (imagine Barney arms) Desperate to relieve the pain, I walked into the Wellness Revolution and Dr Nick worked on my shoulder and taped it up, the adjusted my back. Ah ha... I get it now. This is why people get adjustments. My back which always has lower pain felt better immediately and then my shoulder had a little bit of mobility! After a number of treatments, my posture has improved and my shoulder is back to having full range with some tightness only after a hard workout. I'm a believer now guys... read more

This place is amazing. You are in & out very quickly with major pain relief from whatever ails you. I can never get over the huge skill set the doctors have. They take several insurance carriers. And they have terrific massage therapists. Dr Nealy actually identified a hip problem my doctor had not diagnosed, then helped my journey to recovery with extreme care, creativity, and thoughtfulness. In the past I've had some BAD experiences with chiropractors. Bad. I wasn't heard, I was treated as if I didn't know my own body, I had forced manipulations done when I knew my body wasn't going to respond. As a result, I've been very wary of chiropractic care. When my partner was involved in an accident, he discovered Wellness Revolution & because of their hours & availability he chose to have them treat his injury. Because of my experiences, I - the mother hen that I am - attended as many of his sessions that I could. The front of desk staff are personable, friendly, knowledgeable & as accommodating as can be. The doctors I also found to be engaging, compassionate, respect & honor where the patient is at. When my partner's treatment was finished, I too ended up having a car accident. Because of the care he received, I then chose to receive treatment at Wellness Revolution as well. Being extremely skittish because of my past experiences, my doctor took great care of me. He knew my story & never pushed. He heard & listened to me. He respected me enough that I, as a retired professional dancer, am indeed in tune with my body. My treatments were effective & I'm a very happy camper. If anyone asks for chiropractic recommendations, I ALWAYS mention Wellness Revolution. In fact, one of my friends, because of my recommendation, is receiving treatment there now & she's very happy with her treatment.
