Still an amazing place for educators! Took more pictures this time. If you teach in the FW area I think my new favorite time to go is on Fridays. Weird, I know. But it's like so peaceful and less busy. Plus it makes the following Monday a little more exciting.

If buying gifts for yourself or others is your love language then this shop is for you!…read more This cute boutique store is located within a beautiful shopping plaza that feels welcoming. Frankly I was awed by how beautiful the area was and the attention to detail in the surrounding architecture. Gift is located right in the center of it and shares the space with a nail salon. They have a small but mighty variety of items, including home decor, purses, jewelry, cards and much more. You can tell everything in the store is uniquely curated. I found some brands I really love that I hadn't seen in a few years. Last but not least, the employee working at the store was kind and walked us through some of the items they carry. Overall, a really beautiful shopping experience.

When I walked in I was greeted by Esther and Jazmin who were available to answer any questions that I had. They have a floral area where you can select dried or fresh flowers by the strand, jewelry, hair accessories, cards, shoes, home decor, candles and clothes. The atmosphere is relaxed with upbeat music playing in the background. Esther mentioned upcoming workshops that will take place next door. They offer gift wrapping and will wrap your flowers which is a lovely touch. I picked up some dried flowers and a card. They encouraged me to explore local shops across from them. They have a small parking lot in the front and street parking is available. I look forward to returning when I'm in the area.

This was my first cooking class. My siblings and I chose the Authentic French Cuisine (filet…read moremignon) class at the chef's home (not downtown! ). She made an excellent substitution for one vegetarian in the group. Chef Erin is amazing, personable, respectful, and professional! She made the meal very easy to recreate at home with tips and tricks. Amazing stuffed mushrooms are easier and do not take as long as I used to make them. I am no longer intimidated to make hollandaise sauce! The class was designed for however much effort you want to put in. It was a very relaxing, cozy atmosphere with time to spare to hangout. The part I had already looked forward to most was no dishes to clean up! Overall, it was a good experience for home cooks to gain confidence in the kitchen. It was a fancy menu and the chef enlightened us on how straightforward it is to put together. She empowered us to do it ourselves, revealing how easy it actually is.
