5 Stars - Incredible Service & Fresh, Scrumptious Desserts Even at Closing Time! We stopped by Mochiatsu just one minute before closing--literally 8:59 PM--and expected to be turned away (understandably so), but to our surprise, we were welcomed in with smiles. The staff didn't rush us at all. Instead, they patiently answered all our questions about the different mochi donut flavors and boba drinks. Friendly, kind, and genuinely helpful--rare these days, especially at closing time. We ended up getting a mixed box of mochi donuts, and every single one was fresh, soft, and incredibly flavorful. The outer layer had that perfect light crispness, and the inside was chewy and warm. You can tell these aren't sitting around all day--they're made with love and top-tier ingredients. Our favorite flavors? The ube, churro, and black sesame were standouts--but honestly, you can't go wrong with any of them. The Thai tea boba was also spot on--creamy, not too sweet, and with perfectly chewy pearls. It's one thing to have great desserts, but pairing that with amazing customer service, especially when most places would be ready to lock the doors, says a lot about the people behind the counter. We left happy, full, and grateful. Mochiatsu just earned some loyal fans. Highly recommend making this your go-to dessert spot!

Ever since I tried my first Korean hot dogs last month in Toronto, I have been looking for a local shop where I could sample them again. Found it yesterday at Mochiatsu Feasterville on Street Road. Part of a small franchise and owned/operated by a lovely couple from Central Europe (Moldova), they offer all the popular Korean snacks - Covered hot dogs on a stick, Double deep fried chicken wings, Mochi rice donuts and several other goodies that looked great, but I decided to wait to try. Mochiatsu was far superior to what I ate in the Wild North. The hot dogs were larger with higher quality ingredients and thicker, tastier coatings. I ordered the Original, Potato and Cheetos, and each was fun to eat with strong flavor and full crunchiness. The red Cheeto blanket had a particularly strong taste, and held together to the last bite at the bottom of the wooden stick. The large potato chunks were nicely fried and hung on to the end. The Original was a firm chew and a half. Loved the wings, too. Selected two sauces; Sweet Chili and Soy Garlic. They were savory and mildly sweet, bathing the extra meaty wings in glowing shades of red and golden amber. Crisp and delicious. The double frying makes such a difference. Sticky fingers are part of the experience, so double up on napkins or paper towels and have fun putting your fingers in your mouth. Just do it! Finally, I had three mochi donuts boxed - raspberry, blueberry and matcha green. They were crisp on the outside, but chewy and deeply flavorful within. Nicely different than usual American yeast or cake donuts, the rice flour is more elastic than wheat flour, while the icing flavors more compelling. More expensive than Dunkin or Yum Yum, they might be an acquired taste, but certainly worth the exposure to their broad varieties. As the nearest outlet for excellent Korean snacks (10 miles), I will become a regular customer at Mochiatsu until they expand and open another shop here in Newtown.

I preordered donuts, croffles and Korean hot dogs for a birthday party. I had checked out several places for these items and felt that Mochiatsu Feasterville had beautiful products even though they were further away from my house and I would have to pick them up. I was NOT disappointed! The kids loved the hot dogs and donuts, which looked great on my donut wall board, and the adults devoured the croffles! And, the Mochiatsu woman who helped me with my order certainly went above and beyond in helping me make my order and ensuring it was ready! Thank you Mochiatsu!

Sweet little shop owned by a husband and wife. Upon entering you are immediately greeted and he walks you through how the mochinuts are made and how to order. You can tell how passionate they are about the business and I really appreciated how he took the time to come out and talk to the guests. I've never had mochinuts before since I don't feel like trekking all the way to Chinatown or Jenkintown so having this close by is great. I really hope they stick around, we need more variety in the area! I'm definitely a fan, fiancé and I will be regulars.

First time here and was very happy with my experience :)…read more Can't think of the last time I got an iced latte that was served PROPER with some foam! A delightful surprise that goes to show the quality of craftsmanship and knowledge that goes into the drinks here at Covered Bridge. I can't admit I'm any sort of coffee snob, I don't drink it black or hot, but as much as I enjoy my insanely sweet lattes, this reminded me of why I drink coffee in the first place. The flavor is robust and deep even through the creaminess of the milk, and the sweetness is subtler than I'm used to. All around a flavorful and satisfyingly smooth latte that actually tastes LIKE COFFEE!! Service was excellent and fast! The young woman working today was so friendly and helpful and seemed prepared to help with advice or knowledge if needed. The in-store space is quaint and comfortable, and on every wall is a selection of goods, repurposed coffee bean bags, snacks, beans, merch, etc.

However, the coffee is just not great. I used reviews to find this place and thought finally a great cup of coffee. My husband got the regular drip coffee and it taste like water with the essence of coffee. I got the chai latte with espresso and although not great it was substantially better than the drip. I would definitely give this place another shot if I lived closer.

My dad's 80th birthday is coming up and he loves good olive oil, cheese, pasta, and prosciutto. If you do too - then Roma's is your spot! Service was very friendly and efficient. I walked out with soppressata from the Bronx - the type you'd see hanging in an old school deli. Also some Buffalo mozzarella, Aged prosciutto sliced nice and thin, house made sausage, Olive oil that was Sicilian and not Tuscan (but highly recommended by the deli guy), some house made ravioli, manicotti and stuffed shells, marinara and vodka sauce, impulse buy lamb chops and an Italian sub. Of course I also got the parmigano reggiano, asiago, AND they have scamorza cheese AKA "scamutz!" If you've never heard of scamutz, it's like a cross between mozzarella and provolone. There's a bar in hazleton, PA that makes pizza with it. Very good. Seems somewhat hard to find in my part of NJ but maybe I don't look hard enough. Only thing I forgot was bread. Hey I'm a 'medigan - forgive me. If you aren't sure what's good, just ask them. Staff is very kind and helpful. Sure I spent a couple Benjamin's and a Grant, but we can't take it with us and memories last forever. I'm glad Roma's is around to play a part in the memories we will make for my father's special day. Here's to many more for him, and for this fine purveyor of Italian delicacies!

After giving my name, I was first handed a coffee that wasn't mine. Once that was corrected, I drove away and checked my order only to discover that one ice cream was completely missing and another was incorrect. I ordered Cookies & Cream, but was given coffee-flavored ice cream instead. When I contacted the store, I was told they had substituted it because they were out of Cookies & Cream and considered coffee to be the "most similar" option. Additionally, another item was simply left out because it was out of stock. The most frustrating part was that no one contacted me about substitutions or asked whether I wanted a different flavor. Instead, items were either replaced without approval or omitted entirely. To make matters worse, the substituted ice cream was served in a small kids-sized cup. Mistakes can happen, but clear communication and attention to customer orders are important. I expect to receive what I ordered or at least be given the opportunity to choose a replacement when an item is unavailable.

Our not-so-great experience may have been a result of the choices we made, but I'm unsure. When you first enter you are in front of a nicely stocked meat counter, loaded with different deli meats. To the left is a dining area with a sign stating "seat yourself". The place is a bit dated with a nice casual vibe. We were greeted by a server who gave us menus and took our drink orders. Service was top notch. When it came time to order I asked how the pastrami was. Server replied "the best". Ok I'll take a pastrami sandwich, my wife a corned beef. The server also asked if we wanted pickles and tomatoes which I said yes. She quickly brought a little bowl, which I chopped up and we enjoyed. The sandwiches came out and these things could've come from a school cafeteria honestly. A minimal amount of cold, sliced meat along with a small bag of chips was unimpressive. What happened to the warm, thick cut, juicy meat sandwich you could barely get your mouth around that we expected? We looked at each other thinking WTF? No sooner did we notice a sign on the wall "NY style, thick cut pastrami and corned beef NOW AVAILABLE" Now maybe we just don't want to accept responsibility but shouldn't the server have asked if that's what we wanted? Anyway we left hungry and saddened by our $48 experience. Def not worth it.
