    Cheung fun with sesame sauce

I stop in sometimes when I'm in the mood for Canto dim sum. It's still consistent. The ga lei yue dan (curry fish balls) & sesame cheung fun are so good! They even made updates to their hagow (shrimp dumplings with the clear wrapper) so it's now round not football shaped. The bogo door dash deal helped.

This place is fantastic! Who knew the best dim sum in Philly is in lower Buck's County? I'm so glad I stumbled upon it. I've been yearning for legit dim sum since leaving LA and this place delivered. The space is clean and bright -- a fast casual vibe. The food is excellent. I got the pork and chive dumplings in chili oil. The chili oil was perfect. A little sweet. A little spicy. Next came the XO Cheung Fun, which I've never had, but was a revelation. Basically, rice noodles rolled up, with dried shrimp, which added a really nice dimension to the dish. It was very mellow -- major comfort food. The steam rice roll with chicken was light and the sauce was sweet but not too sweet. I finished with the red bean bao which had the perfect ratio of red bean to bun. I can't wait to go back and try the eggplant dish and the fried curry dumplings.

What a great local place to get authentic dim sum! Cool atmosphere (reminded me of the places in NYC), awesome wall mural and very clean tables/booths. Started with crispy spring rolls, chicken soup dumplings, pan fried pork dumplings (which were free because of the eat-in special). All were flavorful and fresh and came with great dipping sauces. Got the Zha Jiang Noodle 2.0. dish which was so good-bok choy was tasty and the boiled egg was perfect! Will definitely return to try more items.

Had a wonderful experience. Tried several items including the Phoenix bun, edamame, BBQ pork bun, and soft-boiled eggs. Very quick service and kind servers. Comfortable and cozy seating area. Will return!

(Note: if you only want smaller serving of their great, thick noodles, order $4 add-on as a side in place of rice with regular dish.) I always have leftovers to enjoy at home. Dumpling orders are large and shareable. (Always 6 or 8 pieces.) My fave when dining in is amazingly delicious and huge Fish Fillet in Hot and Sour Cabbage Broth. (That's best with rice side to help absorb broth.) So good and healthful to balance the dough density of whatever dumplings you might also order -- they're all great. When getting order to go (or delivered) I like Kung Pao Chicken; it travels well. Order added green veggie dish for sharing -- I lean toward Chinese Broccoli; you'll really want the balance with the delicious dumpling and noodle dishes. Large cocktail menu -- Lychee Martini is so refreshing. Important: cash only for dining in. There's an ATM by their front door. Takeout and delivery accepts credit cards. Most reasonably priced parking nearby (if you don't score a limited street spot) is ParkAmerica at 1040 Race St a few doors down. In fact, it was one of the valet guys in that garage who recommended Dim Sum Garden when I was seeking great Chinese option. (Thank you, Ceasar!)

I just get a feeling that the focus is on pushing alcoholic drinks rather than on the food. The pork buns felt like they were previously frozen and were very sweet. Shrimp dumplings tasted off. Service was never the star but it wasn't so dismissive either. Just a very bad experience and while I won't go back, I also don't want to rate them 1 star as that would be unfair. Their food now is no better than the next guy and that's disappointing. Cash only btw. I write this because they do not post signs and a couple tables had to go grab cash from their ATM machine.

I do prefer the shrimp to be more plump & flavorful, & my favorite ones tend to have sauces other than soy to drizzle on. My trio of items were a steal at barely $20. Nom Wah is an excellent pick for quality dim sum at rock-bottom prices. I arrived early to a mostly-empty restaurant which allowed their staff to be extra attentive. The waiter described what sauces & dishes he was placing on my table, & the waitress offered to fill my water bottle before I left, as it was a 90° day. A lovely first impression!

The sticky rice in leaf had a good consistency although small with minimal ingredients. The shrimp dumplings are a staple but maybe too much flour which made the outer layer too doughy and chewy. The pork dumplings are good although smaller and tasted more like the frozen variety. Service was slow although there was only one waitress for the several tables. She did fill my water but I had to ask. And seemed to be somewhat frugal when I asked for extra napkins and only received ONE?!? She did come back later and gave me one additional napkin without being prompted. The biggest advantage for this place is it offered shrimp rolls but there are many other options available nearby.

This place immediately came to mind after I read the reviews, and I ordered takeout tonight. I am very pleased to say that this was an amazing experience! I opted to do fairly simple dim sum, mainly because a restaurant that has "dim sum" in its name should shine in this category. I was able to place my order online, and had the scallion pancake, the pork, soup, dumplings, the chicken and shiitake dumplings, and the shrimp shu mai. The order was prepared, extremely fast, but very attentively. The packaging was thoughtful and protective, without being wasteful. They included a small container of delicious black vinegar/soy for dipping, and some chopsticks. All of the dishes were fantastic! My favorite was probably the shrimp dumplings, and I was happy that it was two for one night. Everything tasted very fresh and well-made. The seasoning was spot on, without being overly salty. My only regret was that after going to pick these up, I noted that the inside of the establishment appeared to be quite quaint and comfortable, and would definitely recommend that people check this place out for dine in options. The staff were very friendly, and made the pick up experience a positive one. So, if you're in the area and really want to have some dim sum, I would definitely recommend this place. I will most definitely be back in the future!!

Conversations don't get swallowed by noise; you can hear each other without shouting. Menus can sprawl, but this one has range without chaos: plenty to explore, clearly laid out, and a mocktail section that feels thoughtful rather than sugary. Prices are kind to the wallet given the portion sizes. My must-order lineup starts with the scallion pancakes--the clear headliner. The shrimp lo mein is comfort done right: soft, chewy noodles, well-seared shrimp, and a sauce that coats rather than drowns. And a new favorite is the egg custard--silky and softly set, lightly sweet.

This is definitely going to be our go to spot when we're in town visiting. the portions are large and the service and food is great. you often don't find that perfect trifecta! we'll be back! While most people only come here for the afternoon dim sum, the real magic happens on weekend nights when the big room is buzzing with a live band and a party on the stage. It's a mix of large families sharing exotic dishes and adventurous locals enjoying Chinatown-quality Cantonese food without the nightmare of city parking. If you're looking for a deal, the Twin Lobster ($40) is a steal and plenty for two people. Beyond the lobster, I highly recommend their Salt Baked dishes (perfectly seasoned), Beef Stew or Lamb Hotpots, Littleneck Clams with Minced Pork or Walnut Shrimp. The operation here is impressively professional. The staff are attractive and attentive, and they still provide those classic, welcoming touches like salted peanuts, fresh fruit, and complimentary dessert.
