In the last 15-20 years I've been coming to Ventura, I always try and stop by the Wharf, and check…read moreout their selection of western wear (I've bought numerous pieces of clothing from there during that time frame). During my most recent getaway trip to Ventura, I made two visits.....the first visit, I found a woven straw fedora-trilby, the Circa 1921, to top off an olive-green Hawaiian shirt I purchased from a different store just a short time earlier. The second visit, I got a pecan-brown Scala Outback Hat. Both Amberlee and Jenny were such a great help; they are real assets to your store. Thank you, Amberlee, Jenny and the Wharf!!! When I entered, the young lady at the registered welcomed me. I couldn't find the bag I was looking for because I didn't know what the bag looked like since it's a different brand than I am used to. I asked a young man that was loading shelves and he called for someone to come help me. Another gentleman came and helped me within a minute. They did have quite a large Oxbow small animal pet products more than I have seen at Tractor Supply. So, even though I probably won't be back for these pellet bedding bags when TSS opens; I would come back for all the rabbit chew toys and supplies they have. I was checked out quickly and on my way.

I had an extremely disappointing experience today at Patagonia. I came in for what should have been…read morea very simple exchange of an unworn jacket, but the interaction was immediately made uncomfortable by an employee named Maddie. From the start, she was rude, combative, sarcastic, and unnecessarily aggressive throughout the entire process. Instead of simply helping resolve the issue professionally, I was met with attitude, condescending remarks, and an overall hostile demeanor that made the experience far more difficult than it needed to be. As a customer, I expect basic courtesy and professionalism -- especially from a company that prides itself on customer service and brand values. The exchange itself was straightforward, yet Maddie handled it in a way that felt confrontational and unwelcoming from beginning to end. It honestly left a terrible impression of the store and the company overall. After being a customer for nearly 30 years and a brand ambassador for this company, I truly never expected to be treated this way. If this is the type of people Patagonia chooses to employ to represent their brand, I do not believe I will be moving forward with purchasing their products in the future. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience absolutely warranted one.

I went on a Saturday morning and parked across the way, in the medical office lot on Olive and Santa Clara. REVIEW: A solid 3.5 shopping experience but rounding up to 4 due to the great customer service and ease of the return I had to make. I was going on a trip to the PNW and needed (I thought) a sling/crossbody/backpack/day bag of sorts. I looked and looked and figured I should try Patagonia, because Ventura. Right? Prices are steep, but unfortunately, that is (sadly) to be expected in 2026. There were quite a lot of salespeople on the floor. They were talking to each other, but whatev. I found an employee to speak to when I had my choices narrowed down. I bought a sling bag that I was sure would do the trick, but sadly, I had buyers remorse and knew I needed something bigger before my trip. Great service. Great ease of return. Definitely will be back! Thanks Patagonia!

The clothes they sell is hand crafted, unique, one of a kind, mostly made in various parts of Mexico. I love the style, textiles, colors, overall vibe, chic-casual and originality. Prices are a tad on the higher side, but it's worth to get an original piece here, you'll stand out in the good way! I also love their home decor and jewelry, it does remind me of merchandise I saw or bought in Mexico, great variety, quality, nice mirrors with pretty frames and pottery pieces that would pop in a room. Lobos Del Mar is a world into itself!

I am so happy that I agreed as this place was a journey back into all of my personal travels to Mexico. I immediately knew how special this shop was as I talked to Nicole, and she shared with me the heart of the owners to share the 'artesania' of the indigenous artists of Mexico and South America. I was very impressed with the representation of the different styles of craft from various regions in Mexico! This is one of the best curated collections of the craft from my home country that I have ever seen. It also warmed my heart to see pictures of the artists throughout the shop and to know that the owners consider them friends and have a love to share their gifts with the world. Also, normally, this work is very inflated in our country, making it somewhat inaccessible for people to buy with the crazy markups. I appreciated that they not only had wonderfully curated quality pieces, but the prices were reasonable for the style of work. Knowing that the local artists are being supported to continue to thrive in these crafts makes me want to support this business even more! I love the connection and knowledge that they share. This was evident in my conversation with Nicole. She was so kind and passionate about her care of the shop. It was like walking into a shop, but also have the expertise of an art curator sharing knowledge. Such a wonderful place!!! You will absolutely find a new treasure here!!!
