Easy, basic bar with solid bar and pub food. Wings + curds are great. Wings were sauced well and a great temp/cook. The curds had a great breading and cook on them. Service is just attentive enough with no complaints any time we've come here.

The service was amazing. Food is mid and the vibes are interesting. They were playing some older music for a bar type of atmosphere. We ordered the cheese curds, which are a Wisconsin stable, but a lot of them didn't have cheese in them and had exploded while being fried. The fried pickles were good but I got them with ranch. The pretzel bites were good with the cheese but needed more salt. The fettuccine was not good and I sent it back- it tasted like absolutely nothing. My mom got the turkey sandwich and liked that. Her bf got the wings and they were not great. The meat was very tough. Then we got the donuts and they were good but a bit dense.

Started my experience off a little rocky due to the long wait for service and water. The place seems a little overcrowded. However the food portions were big and fairly priced.

I really enjoy this place in the Third Ward. They have a wide variety of menu items and none of them disappoint. I mostly come here for brunch and I love the salmon BLT, which is on their dinner menu. Their drink menu has something for everyone, with alcohol, mocktail, and THC options. At night they usually have a fun DJ for vibes but their day speakers always have great music. Service is relatively fast, but this place can get busy.

Recently went to the Wicked Hop on a beautiful spring day. We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed some drinks while we chatted. Server was super attentive and her attention to detail was great. We ordered the burger special and the Reuben which were both super tasty. Will definitely be coming back again.

The Wicked Hop pleasantly surprised me with their dry January menu, it was so good! The Italian spritz was my favorite, tasting just like an Aperol Spritz but it tasted more juicy. I will definitely go back next year to see what on their dry January menu!

We were shopping in the area on a long weekend getaway and just stopped in for a bloody and some curds. Let me tell you both were outstanding. The bloodiest weren't overloaded with a delicious tray and were super flavorful with the perfect spice level. On to the curds...the light batter and amazing cheese pull, this is why Wisconsin is talked about when it comes to cheese. Although it was a busy bustling morning our server Shannon D. was on top of everything in the area and extremely attentive. If we are back in the area we would definitely stop back in.

The Bloody Mary & an Old Fashioned

If Wisconsin prides itself on two things -- cheese curds and Bloody Marys -- then The Wicked Hop in Milwaukee's Third Ward absolutely delivers on both. The cheese curds were perfectly golden and gooey, and the Bloody Mary was expertly crafted -- bold, flavorful, and just the right kick. And when those two worlds collide? A Bloody Mary topped with cheese strings -- pure Wisconsin magic! The atmosphere was fun and lively, the service was friendly, and it's the kind of spot that captures exactly what makes Milwaukee's food scene so special. Whether you're a local or just visiting, The Wicked Hop is a must for brunch or a casual weekend stop.

Our server was great but the food was just okay. Went for lunch while out running errands was super excited for something to eat finally and was a bit disappointed! The nachos while they looked huge really was just a pile of toppings, limited chips and what was giving nonfat cheese based on the way the chips pulled apart with only one layer of cheese. We had the cheese sauce on the side our choice which as a beer cheese sauce one of us liked it and the other didn't so probably better we did on the side. I wouldn't recommend these! Also the chicken we added on was just plain grilled chicken no true added flavor. Bit of a bummer but service was good. Also super chilly in the restaurant!!

Date of visit: October 19, 2025 I was meeting up with some friends from high school and they suggested meeting here for drinks and something a little more substantial. I readily agreed as I felt like I hadn't been to The Wicked Hop in about as long as it had been since I had caught up with these fellow Vincent High School graduates! I went with the Fonzarelli French Toast, though to be honest there wasn't really anything that made it Fonzie, or "Happy Days." It was your straightforward french toast with a side of bacon. Not saying it wasn't good, because it was, but the name kind of hyped me up unnecessarily. I did also need to get more syrup--the portion was very generous, but the maple syrup allotment was not. Service was good with the whole team pitching in to help run food, and the little bit of appetizers I had (I Dream of Doughnuts and the cheese curds) were both good as well, so you really can't go wrong with either of those, either!

Covered sidewalk seating at the restaurant.

Came here with father one afternoon before a Brewers game. It was a beautiful day so we sat outside. All of their outdoor patio seating is covered by a canopy so you don't have to worry about getting stuck in the sun if that's something you don't like. Great location! It's right on a bustling corner in the city's Historic Third Ward district. Right across the street from the Milwaukee Public Market. I got a caesar salad with chicken in a wrap. It was pretty good. The kinda food you get from a good bar and grill. Fries were great! Our server was friendly and I very much enjoyed the lively atmosphere sitting outside by the street. It's a nice little bar and grill for a lunch stop if you're in the mood for it and in the area.

A staple of Milwaukee brunches, wicked hop does the trick, but doesn't go above and beyond. If you ask around, many will say this is their favorite Bloody Mary in the city. I can agree - in terms of toppings!! But in terms of taste, it doesn't hit too 5. But, a cheese whip topping is elite. Food is fine, service is good, lots of seating for those busy Saturday and Sunday brunch days. They do their own spin on a lunchbox shot, which I love! Indoors can be cramped, the patio is great in the summer.

First timers here. Sarah B was our server and she was definitely amazing from start to end. Very attentive and professional. Food and drinks were great during happy hour. Perfect day outside to take your pup out with you. Totally recommend this place if you are looking for some chill patio time with your family and fur babies.

Is there a parking lot, and is there a shuttle to Skylight Music Theater?

There is metered parking right in front of the bar. There are parking lots in the area with hourly parking as well. Just download the Milwaukee parking meter app and you're golden!

    Kids welcome at wicked hop?

Yes! They have an upstairs area that's great for dinner for the family! We take our 16year Old there for the wings and burgers at least once a week. Hope that helps

I had heard about the Tin Widow's holiday pop up being one of the best area, the hype was not wrong. From the entrance to the ceiling and walks, this place is the definition of deck the halls. Unless you get here right when they open it early in the holiday season, I would expect a crowd. The drink menu is so fun with holiday themed drinks served in matching glassware. You can even purchase the glass/mug for an additional fee. A lot of the cocktails looked to be batched cocktails which help with the bartender's efficiency. Highly recommend making this place a holiday stop. I'm also curious to stop in after the holidays to experience it without all the holiday decor.

They had several seasonal cocktails in special festive cups, which you could also buy to take home. I got the Cheery Cherry Chocosaurus, which was good, but pricey for what it was. Almost all the seasonal drinks were $15 each and didn't seem too big. The venue itself is medium sized, but feels crammed quickly. There's more people let in at a time than there is seating, so you have to move fast to get a seat. I'll likely come back during the summer to try something else.

We knew Brownstone would be the perfect place to celebrate. All positive feedback! 1. Cleanliness and Management The establishment is always clean. I was to witness the owner personally wiping down tables and adjusting furniture. Seeing an owner take such visible pride in their business and never being "too good" to work really stands out to me and sets a great tone for the venue. 2. Happy Hour, Drinks, and Vibe Their happy hour is absolutely amazing, with affordable prices and great options. It normally stops at 7:00 PM, but they extended it until 9:00 PM last night! The drinks were made to order, arrived shortly after ordering, and tasted great. They weren't so strong that you couldn't enjoy them, but they definitely packed a punch. The atmosphere was flawless thanks to the staff and 2 DJs who kept the music upbeat and perfect. The entire crowd was having a time, singing along on cue and swaying to the music. 3. The Food We ordered pasta and happy hour appetizers, and everything was delicious. From presentation to taste, the kitchen delivered exactly what we were hoping for. I have absolutely no complaints. It was another fantastic experience celebrating a great holiday with an even better crowd. To answer your question, will I return? Absolutely!
