They do not take Medicaid so everything I paid for approximately $600 was not covered. I find this unacceptable being most who go there are there for medical reasons. Also the area where we were seated for the fitting was dirty and I had to ask the technician to clean it.

All I had to do was explain what I was looking for and she brought out the perfect wig! I didn't even have to try another on. Mel is wonderful, I would highly recommend Allure and making an appointment with Mel. They will also help you through the process of donating your hair to a children's wig charity, if you choose to do so before losing your store to chemo.

They installed my first set of extensions after I lost all of my hair from chemo, and the results were incredible, especially considering how short, thin and fine my hair was. The extensions are super high quality. After a little over a year I went back and had a half pack added, and I honestly have never had hair that looked this good! Would never go anywhere else in the city! They are always so accommodating and have even fit me in same day to fix a weft when I snagged it on something (on two separate occasions!).
