This has been my go-to for blowouts, for the longest. When you walk in, the vibe is boho-chic..a calm, zen atmosphere. The staff is personable & friendly- from the front desk peeps to the peeps who shampoo. They do a fantastic job creating a warm environment. Last weekend, I booked an appointment for a cut & blow with Deanna. She was awesome (per usual)..my hair looks so healthy! A junior blowout is $25, or 4 blowouts for $80 (great deal!) Cut & blow was under $40 and it was a very good cut. There is plenty of parking in the lot, if not in the front, you can park in the side lot. Two thumbs up..highly recommend!!! read more

I went to Paris Salon after finding a Groupon for a color and cut, and seeing all the great reviews. The salon itself, is great. Very clean, tidy, and all the staff are incredibly nice. Let's talk about my color- it is amazing, and exactly what I asked for. I explained that I wanted to try the balayage, since I wanted something that wasn't too high maintenance. I asked, and my stylist delivered. I am unhappy with the cut, though. I specifically asked for long layer- I have extremely curly hair, and I wear it curly more often than straight. I now have very short top layers, which look uneven and unblended. The bottom looks like it's one long patch of hair. It looked fine when I left the salon, but the next day, I noticed how uneven it is. I would most definitely go back for color services, but I'm hesitant to go back to get the haircut read more

Second time visiting Paris salon last week and again, my experience could not have been better. Stylist Deanna is highly experienced and it can be seen by her work. After highlights, root touch up and glaze, my hair has never felt softer and the color is absolutely beautiful. The haircut is also highly professional and Deanna really took her time measuring and making sure nothing is uneven. Holy moly where do I even begin. Last night I was browsing yelp and came across this stunning salon. Via yelp I made my appointment. I had no idea that I was booking an appointment with Rolando. On a whirl I went to St. James and decided I needed a new look. Booking the appointment was so easy. I couldn't believe I got an appointment for the next day. The place is classy and cute. I showed Rolando my Pinterest board of the hair colors I liked, and boy did he deliver ! Rolando is the man and super sweet! Thanks to him my hair looks alive and I feel amazing. First time visit, of course lil apprehensive, yet as soon as Crystal came out to introduce herself thought she looked familiar?? Always a good sign! Felt very comfy with her, good soul, and most importantly haircut is beautiful:))) I have natural grey hair and don't like salons that try to push me back into coloring my hair. I came here based on the great reviews on Yelp. I don't know who those people went to, but they lady that cut & colored my hair was terrible. I've gotten highlights & color for over a decade now, & this was the absolute worst I've ever received. I'm actually ashamed to be seen in public after what my stylist did to my hair. To make it worse, my stylist made several mean comments about how fine my hair was & when she was blow drying it out, she severely burned my scalp in several places with the blow dryer. Also, I asked for an inch and a half to be cut & she took a full four inches off. Getting my hair done here was a painful, embarrassing & expensive mistake. I won't be coming back. read more

OK, so I took my daughter (little Sylvester) to this hair salon. The outside is not so nice, but its decieving- the inside is really nice. Has a vintage look. Was not too busy inside and her appointment was right on time. Parking lot is not too big, but had no problem finding parking. The stylist was AWESOME (as little Sylvester says). Her hair came out exactly how she wanted it. It was a very comforting environment. However, the lady at the counter was a bit rude. She does not smile and was not too welcoming. For being the first person in a salon that you see, she should at least smile and make you feel like you want to actually come into the salon. I decided to get my hair done from here after reading all the raving reviews, I went in with high expectations but my experience was really disappointing. My hair didn't turn out like the pictures I showed the stylist and she did a messy job cutting my hair. It's not even at all from the back and the color was not as I expected. Pretty annoyed. I came in wanting the ends of my hair to match my natural root color. My ends had lighted too much for me. I told the hair dresser that my roots were virgin hair to give her a heads up because obviously color will process differently. We agreed to do an ash glaze bc my roots are ash brown. She put the color on and, yes great it darkened my ends, but my roots lightened significantly, which I wanted to avoid. She did the right thing and put a Demi on the roots to now re darken them to match the rest of my hair. It looked fine when I walked out. so she did the right thing and tried to fix it,but now after a few washes my roots are lightening to a warm brown. Totally not my natural hair color. And now I will have to get my hair permanently died to cover up these ridiculous roots. I won't be returning here. read more

EVERYONE from the front desk to the awesome shampoo girl ( sorry I forgot her name) was kind and cheerful from the moment I walked into this salon - good vibes were everywhere! My stylist was Samantha who performed a wonderful makeover, taking me from a dull overprocessed ashy blond to a vibrant strawberry red! She listened to what I desired and the created the perfect color to compliment my skin tone and it took years off! She explained every step of the way as well as giving great details for the aftercare of my new color, suggested makeup colors, and then gave me a great cut. These people are LIFESAVERS and truly so kind After being turned away by another salon due to their own mis-booking, I sought out Paris to cut off 9inches of my hair to donate to Pantene Beautiful Lengths. They told me to immediately come over, even tho it was after 7pm. They took such great care of me, giving me an amazing cut and without a moments hesitation for a 7pm walk-in. So where to begin? I've been a hair vagabond for over ten years. Until now. Until I found Paris Salon. So much talent, so little "attitude". How did this hidden gem escape me? The shop is beautifully appointed and the staff are warm and generous of both time and spirit. Rolando is a true artist and a really nice person. He took the time to talk with me and not only made suggestions but paid careful attention to what was important to me (read: bangs). He took his time and sent me out the door with a great style and terrific color. I indulged in Brazilain Blowout which was so much more flattering than the flat Keratin treatments I had been getting for years. I enjoy talking with the other members of the team, Cindy and Al are the best, true professionals and so warm and caring. If you haven'e been here, you need to go. I will not return nor will recommend. My experience at this salon started with waiting an hour past my appt with complete disregard to my time while waiting. I was there for partial highlights which was done so poorly and looked so terrible that I had to return a couple of days later to correct the process. When I called to make the appt (for correction) the "salon manager" failed to put it the computer and I was told that I will have to wait once again (I guess that's just something you have to do at this salon). Even though my hair was supposedly corrected it still looks aweful, and I am very unhappy with the outcome. read more

This was my first time coming here. I originally wanted to go from my blonde to a dark purple, but after some deliberation with Crystal, I switched to a dark brown color. We started later at around 10:30 (my appointment was for 10 am) because of the idea change but ALSO because the front desk lady and my stylist were late to open up the place. I was a little annoyed because Crystal told me pretty much as soon as she started my hair that she had a friend coming in 15 minutes later for a balayage. Why would you book my appointment for only 45 minutes then? Even I know that's not enough time for a single process. I ended up waiting around for someone else to finish the dye in my hair, rinse the dye out, and rinse out the conditioner. The whole process took over 2 and a half hours, not even including a blow out and trim. I skipped those because I wanted to get out of there so badly by the end. My hair color didn't even come out as I asked! It's a strange color of dark brown and blonde with reddish tints. Definitely not the color we had picked out or something went wrong while mixing it. It's a shame because I spent all that time and money on it. In short: although they were nice, the lack of professionalism tarnished my experience. People were standing around doing nothing for good chunks of time or on their phones while they were working. Something that I have NEVER seen at any other salon. ------ UPDATE TO RESPONSE ------- This is going to be long and with a lot of details (apologies) but I feel it is needed after such an insincere and false response from the business. I called before I made the appointment to specifically ask if the salon had permanent purple hair dye because that is the color that I wanted from my blonde hair, and I know that it's not a common color that every salon stocks. The lady at the front desk spoke with someone else and assured me that they did. I made the appointment and came in. I was told that I would need to bleach my whole head and that the salon only had a purple 'stain' that would last roughly a week. That's not even a dye, let alone a permanent one. Of course, I'm not going to pay a large sum of money and ruin my hair for just one week of color, so I switched ideas last minute to a chocolate brown. Yes, I consulted my friend a lot but that's only because I was told two different things and didn't expect to have another plan handy. If I was told correctly on the phone in the beginning that it was only a stain and NOT a dye, I would never have made the appointment for that specific color. Did I mention (for the second time) that the store was opened late? I was on time for my appointment. The workers were not. So no, I didn't have a "45 minute consultation" as stated. After applying the color and sitting through the process, I waited an extra ~20 minutes after the timer went off for someone to wash the dye out. Crystal was working on her friend's hair and was telling the other guy and girl every time they walked by to wash out my hair. They didn't - the guy sat at the front desk and the girl went on her phone. Since I was there from the opening of the store, I saw exactly how many customers that girl took care of for the hours that I was there. It was one hair cut for an older lady and that's all she did. So yes, I think it's reasonable to be annoyed at people who should be working but they aren't. Thank god that Crystal's assistant finally felt bad for me and just took over the care. I did have virgin hair at the time, but I have gotten the ends of my hair dyed and also a full balayage - both of which took less time than this circus show. Also, I no longer have virgin hair and have never spent almost three hours for a single color process. If you think that is a reasonable amount of time, then there is something wrong with your work ethic. I don't know where you, Rolando, get the idea that I was satisfied or happy in any way. First off, you didn't talk or even look at me for when I was there. Second, I was so annoyed that I told my friend to make up an excuse to help me get out of there (something that I never thought I would have to do! Ever) because no one wanted to work on my hair. I could have said plenty, I could have argued with the price, but I just wanted out of there. The color was nothing close to a chocolate brown, but I didn't even want to waste the time to go back and fix it. I was 100% done with the place, the lack of professionalism, and the fact that I was left in a corner of the salon since no one wanted to finish my hair. I do not appreciate being patronized even though I was maybe a younger customer than what the salon is used to. Either way, I feel it is justified to change my review to one star. I had an AWFUL experience. I went in for a balayage, but she did an entire head of highlights instead.. my hair turned NEON GREEN from just a hot tub two days later. I called the salon and they told me to come in for a correction. They couldn't get all the green out and then changed me $120!!!!! It looked slightly better but the next morning I woke up (didn't get my hair wet) my hair was neon green again. I am so upset that they charged me so much money and didn't even fix my hair. I went to another salon who could fix it and they told me that Paris Salon likely only "covered up" the green, and did not remove then chemicals. I do not recommend this place. read more
