Absolutely love this place, and need to visit more. The free popcorn for the shoppers is better than what is available at the movie theater! Great pet store in West Ashley offering lots of food for your dogs, cats, and ferrets. All food is vetted by the employees and owner(s) who have multiple certifications in varying pet and nutritional needs (see my pic). There are some odd items available, like dried duck heads and things like that that sort of freak me out, but apparently the animals love all the things here. I purchased some expensive but tasty pill pockets for my dog as well as some pre- and probiotic frozen yogurt for my two dogs to enjoy. They offered a small sample of treats right upon entry that you can take home for your dogs and mine gobbled them up like I've never seen before. read more

LOVE THIS SPOT! We've been getting the raw turducken food for our dog and he loves it, not to mention it we've noticed an energetic boost in him. They sell soo many goods for animals that are healthy and non toxic! We also love getting the CBD treats for his arthritis and I appreciate that they don't have a bunch of toxic ingredients in them like the ones sold on Amazon. read more

We love bringing our big Bernedoodle here for baths. It's so convenient just bringing the dog and nothing else; they supply towels, bathtub, brushes, dryer, shampoo/conditioner! I do wish they could adjust their water pressure and make it stronger. Also the blow dryer could be stronger or warmer.. I can never finish drying my dog there. It would take 2 hrs, I usually finish up with my blow dryer from home. read more

We have been so pleased with the service we have received here. Our dog is sensitive to food and has been struggling with digestive issues. The staff has been so incredibly helpful while we tried to find the right fit for our dog. They are super knowledgeable about the products they carry and just down-right friendly. We have also used the self-service pet wash bays and have been really pleased with the set-up. Overall, this place is a little gem and so much better than the big box pet stores. My husband received a recommendation to come check this place out after talking about our dogs "mystery" vomiting to a friend that the vet could not get under control. Our poor pup is on prescription everything and still doesn't seem like herself. Now that her food and allergy meds cost a few hundred dollars a month, we thought there's gotta be something else to try. So we were curious about the raw diets. I thought I would be walking down a few isles and figuring things out, but Christina helped me from start to finish. She really listened to our dog's history and concerns we've spent thousands of dollars on vet visits for without them improving. The best place you can go for your pet nutritional needs. They have an amazing selection of treats and food and have an extremely knowledgeable staff. Most of their items you can ONLY find there, and if you find it anywhere else it's going to be more expensive. From the shark tails to the kangaroo hearts and ostrich necks, we are all about it for both our cats and our dog. They even have all natural medicinal needs such as vitamins, flee and tick control/prevention, all natural shampoos, and much more (for cheaper than pet smart). My fiancé and I have been so much over the past two years the staff has gotten to know us and our animals, and it's easily become our favorite place to shop for them. 10/10 would recommend if you care about the health of your animals. Our pets have always been very healthy with extremely soft and shiny coats, healthy weight and we always pass our vet exams with ease. I give The Wild much credit for that. read more

I went in to bath my sons puppy and when we got done we were shopping and I made several purchases. There was several bins containing different dog bones and the puppy picked one out. My son said No and put the bone back at which time the clerk advised that we had to purchase the bone because the dog mouthed it. There were no signs indicating if a dog or cat mouthed merchandise you would have to purchase it. So, if you go in be careful and not let your pet grab any merchandise. read more
