My friend and I got the eggs Benedict with salmon and it was delish! My other friend got the avacado toast that had goat cheese & it was definitely really cheesy! I got to the venue earlier than my party, so i ordered a beer at the bar the bar before going to the table. It was $7 for a kona big wave. We were a party of 10 celebrating my birthday. Everyone was seated and ready to order by about 515. We didn't get our first round of drinks until 620. Here are some highlights (aka things servers shouldnt say) of things said to us from our really very terrible server: - "oh you want that glass of wine? Well, I'm not sure I'll be able to find it. What do you want as a backup?" (She never mentioned the wine again, but brought the back up beer) - "I'm not sure if the sliders come with fries, I'll check and let you know: (35 minutes later, they do not come with fries) - when presenting the wine flight "these go in the order they are listed on the card" (we asked from left to right or right to left) "oh, um you can just tell by the color" Other complaints: - we were there for 2.5 hours and water was filled only once, after we asked, after everyone was out of water and still hadn't received cocktails 1 hour into our visit - we ordered $12 truffle fries, with genuinely not an drizzle of truffle. So we asked for truffle oil/sauce/butter/whatever should be on there. She came back 27 minutes later and when I said the fries were cold so didn't need the truffle anymore she just said "sorry" and left the plate of cold fries and the truffle oil. Paid full price. - ordered a side of truffle fries, with no cheese. She brought an appetizer size plate, with no cheese, truffle, or scallion. 100% plain fries. Asked for truffle and scallion. Only ever received truffle and then they tried to charge us the full price for the appetizer truffle fries - ordered 2 Kentucky bourbon ales. Received a 16 ounce glass the first time and 12 ounces the second, but was charged the same price for both - all of the chicken items were incredibly dry. - when we asked why drinks were taking an hour, we were advised she was working on it, when in fact, there was no one behind the bar and they were not being worked on. - no flat breads, no salmon, and apparently no wine that wasn't part of a wine flight. Everyone who tried to order a glass of wine was told to order beer instead. Only positives: - our second round of drinks came in a slightly more timely manner. - the spinach dip and bakes brie were yummy Just save yourself so much time and money and go literally anywhere else in celebration. Thai Tani, town Tavern, Columbia, and the diner are all fantastic!

I should've taken more pictures but only have the one of the croissant breakfast sandwich. What I didn't expect from this sandwich was that the hash brown was on it instead of on the side! It was such a pleasant surprise as you bite down through the layers of egg, cheese, bacon, hashbrown, and guacamole. I never thought of those things together but it was fantastic! I enjoyed every bite. I also love a great thick and creamy grits and they were the perfect side to go with this sandwich. The service is always great here, they're very attentive and that's what keeps us coming back. So next time you're on the hunt for a new spot for brunch, consider Wine Bar George.

Staff were all very friendly and Dean did a great job for us. Ordered the dippy egg, buttermilk biscuits, steak and eggs, buratta, and kids mac and cheese. I was blown away how well executed the plates were for a wine bar! Everything had great flavor, steak was cooked perfectly, and the buratta avocado and tomatoes had a great freshness to them. Son loved the busicuits but was luke warm on his Mac and cheese / fries. Would definitely come back for breakfast here!

Been to the NYC one so let's check out this one. Located inside the Waldorf Astoria, this place…read morefeels like you accidentally wandered into a private club for extremely well-fed hedge fund managers. Chandeliers and serious service. Yes, technically it's a steakhouse. But as a pescatarian, I treated the menu like a seafood scavenger hunt. I got the tuna, crudo, anything that once touched the ocean. Also, and this is critical, the French fries. You cannot walk into a place this fancy and forget the fries. That would be a personality flaw. Service is that over the top Waldorf style where someone appears instantly when you think about needing water. They are in your thoughts.

Just disappointing after seeing so many rave reviews and news coverage…read more We ordered the prime dry aged ribeyes for a splurge meal and some of their best red wines, along with mushroom and bread appetizers. The steak was ok at best. The cookery seemed good but the quality of meat did not feel good and the dry aged flavor wasn't worth it. The mushrooms too just weren't that good and felt like there was a stick of butter and oil inside. Could be due to cookery too since mushrooms need to be cooked with a bit of water during a sauté due to their water retention properties. Idk, it's still a good restaurant if you can afford it but I would never go back. At this price point, i just expected so much more.

As with each of the land pavilions, the staff members are from various regions in Italy and typically work on a temporary basis. Three must-try small plates are recommended for my wife and me. The first is the Polipo Grigliato, featuring grilled Mediterranean octopus served with potatoes, pancetta, Calabrian chili, caperberries, parsley, and lemon. It is topped with extra virgin olive oil and is a delightful treat for octopus enthusiasts. According to one of the waiters, it is the most requested small plate dish, ensuring the freshest octopus available. The second small dish is the Carpaccio di Manzo, featuring charred wagyu beef, arugula, Parmesan cheese, and lemon dressing. The wagyu is thinly sliced, so diners should prepare for a different culinary experience compared to a traditional steak. However, it is fresh and delectable. Finally, we order the Fior di Latte "Caprese," which consists of fresh, melt-in-your-mouth mozzarella cheese paired with a salad of red and yellow grape tomatoes, balsamic emulsion, and extra virgin olive oil. It is an exquisite and flavorful dish. Walk-up reservations are a must as it does get busy.

Last week on Thursday, we waited at least twenty minutes for our meal, only then being told they "lost" the order due to a computer error. 2. SERVICE: Recently, many, if not all of the servers seem new. They're friendly, but I miss familiar faces--no explanation. 3. AMBIANCE: Much the same; however, the perimeter booths on the outside where we like to sit, are abominably uncomfortable. Sitting on rock-hard boards can be back-numbing (perhaps, the goal to keep the patrons from dawdling too long. 4. The hostesses and hosts are friendly and delightful. We enjoy be greeted as loyal patrons. Venessa is wonderful. 5. THE BAD: The check includes "suggested tips," no longer an uncommon annoyance adopted by many restaurants. Bad enough. What's outrageous is the calculation of the tip based on an amount the includes the sales tax. You may notice that I don't see any edible tax on the plate or in my drink. I recalculate, the tab, but find the practice deceitful. I also HATE the server coming to the table with the little electronic device that has the patron submit payment, while having to make the corrected calculation of the tab.
