Our first visit, but not our last. Made reservation for 2 on Friday night at 645, Arrived 615pm, and they sat us right away. Raquel was our server and was personable and attentive. She allowed us to look over the menu and made suggestions, libated us from the full bar and took our orders of beet salad, wedge salad pork chop with double brussel sprouts along with filet mignon. So ask for it with less salt and you will be happy. I lived the wedge salad but I'll get the dressing on the side next time. Mash potatoes were yummy and 2 people can split them. So the atmosphere was very nice. However our servers slow due to two large parties. They do have a very nice private room that can seat 12-20. We had The conch fritters which were crisp on outside and soft on the inside with two sauces-one was spicy. The wedge salad sounded unique with bacon jam but was very ordinary. As was the lobster mac & cheese which was praised by the valet & waitress. Our steaks were mixed. The strip steak was good and cooked to order. We purposely arranged for an early reservation and thankfully we were seated in the very rear of the restaurant in a "private" area. Our server acted as though she drew the short straw....not particularly engaged with us. When the appetizers were presented the server "auctioned them off"....is it really that hard to know which appetizer should be delivered where? At the end of the meal we waited nearly 20 minutes for our check-we finally got up and left - asking for our check from the hostess. I Realllllllllly wanted to love this place but it was just ok. For appetizers we ordered the spinach and artichoke dip along with a dozen oysters. I was not impressed with the spinach artichoke dip it looked like it was reheated and a little dry. The oysters were delicious and fresh. For our meal we ordered the signature bone in prime cowboy ribeye with a side of garlic mashed potatoes and sautéed mushrooms. The steak was yummy and cooked to perfection ! The sides were delicious as well. The drinks were just OK. Conclusion: we were one of the only 3 tables there. The food was good but the service and the ambience left a lot to be desired. We celebrated our 38th anniversary at 7593 Chophouse on The Reunion Resort Property. We were staying on property in a condo in Spectrum Resort, which is a part of the property. 7593 Chophouse is inside The Reunion Grande Hotel. We had amazing service from reservation to departure. They gave us a sweet Happy Anniversary card and congratulations. The ambiance was beautiful, private, and romantic. When we arrived the doorman took our picture. We started with the shrimp cocktail, which had a delicious dipping sauce unlike we have ever had. I had the filet mignon and my husband had the New York Strip. Both were cooked to our exact specifications. We shared the baked potato because it was huge! For dessert I had the cheesecake and he had the peach cobbler a la mode. Great new find for this steak loving gal, 7593 Chop House at the Reunion Resort was a great surprise and a 5 star dining experience! As soon as you are greeted and escorted to your table you know you are in for a treat! The upscale restaurant is beautifully decorated and has a mural on one wall of the beautiful Reunion resort. Service is impeccable and professional. Our server "AJ", Ann Julie was very nice and did not miss a beat! Drinks and cuisine came out quick and perfect! The manager JR came over and made sure all was excellent with our dining experience as well. They have an extensive wine and cocktail list with specialty "Joe Namath" cocktails but I ordered my favorite cocktail with steaks, a Manhattan, that came out perfectly mixed exactly the way I specified, straight up, sweet with (3) cherries! They have all the favorites of a steakhouse and more. We decided on the "Burrata Caprese Salad" with the creamiest mozzarella, fresh tomatoes and basil with a drizzle of evo and balsamic. The "French Onion Soup" was delicious and rich with a toasted baguette and provolone and gruyere cheese melted on top. Onto what we are here for, the steaks! They did have a great special on their 48 oz bone in "Tomahawk" dinner for two that night, which included two sides and two sauces for only $145, but we were craving the 8 oz "Filet Mignon" with "Bearnaise" sauce. The steaks were excellent and grilled to perfection! Our sides were the "Mushroom Medley" and "Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes". We had to skip dessert, we were so full, but the "Creme Brûlée and the "Cheesecake" sounded divine! I opted for a simple black coffee with Grand Marnier on the side. We will definitely be returning to this gem to try their other dishes of fresh oysters and seared crab cakes, wedge salad, signature bone in prime cowboy ribeye steak or one of their fish entrees and one of their many sauces especially the Au Poivre Cognac Sauce! We had reservations to dine here with friends of ours, who are regulars. We let them and the very informative staff take us on a culinary ride, which turned out to be very thrilling. This is a high-end restaurant, decorated with a celebrity golfing theme. Scattered around the restaurant are photographs of celebrities golfing, like Joe Namath, Dean Martin, Audrey Hepburn and others. They even have a signature line of cocktails to match some of the celebrities, like the Dean Martini. The bread service came with the meal and happened to feature a marrow butter, which was flavored very delicately and melted on the still warm bread. Combined with the Amuse Bouche of an asparagus bisque with lemon cream, the meal was off and running. There were many specialties to choose from, but the staff and our friends finally helped me to land on the Ossobuco. As the waitress claimed, a knife will come with the meal, but you won't need it. She was absolutely correct. The meat was tender and could be eaten with a fork. Piled on top of the mushroom risotto, it was a combination that was top notch. The lobster mac and cheese substituted for a whole meal for my wife and was a decent size for an item considered to be a side dish. The restaurant also features an entire wine selection and for those so inclined, a cigar humidor with a good selection of smoking opportunities as well. The meal was excellent, the atmosphere was quite relaxed and enjoyable and the staff was very locked on, attending to every need and offering their wisdom and experience to those in need of assistance. The ambiance is nice, it's located in a resort called Reunion. You walk in you'll see the beautiful fountain, the bar and maybe someone playing the piano. Not sure if that's all the time. The restaurant is to the left pass the bar. It was a group of us for a birthday dinner. Most of our group had to be there to sit down. Didn't take long, we were seated with glasses of water at the table already. The bread took awhile to come out. It was warm and soft, typical bread with butter which was a little sweet. Spinach dip was our appetizer with chip bread. I wish the dip was more creamy, it had a lot of chunks in it. I ordered the lamb chops and asparagus. The lamb chops should of been called lollipops it was so small. I asked for no pink and a1 sauce. Very juicy. The asparagus was grilled, just added some salt and pepper really good! Probably my fave part of my meal. I also got the Palmer punch, it was okay I recommend the wine selection though. One other person asked for lamb chops but it was not cooked to her liking even after they brought it out again. Another ordered the steak Fritas basically steak on top of fries. I was tempted to get that. She asked for well done twice. They brought it back out and only cooked the one side, had to take it back again. It was kind of crazy because we had two waiters for 10 people so I would think that everything would come out right. The lobster Mac n cheese was okay barely any lobster. Same on the shrimp scampi, had only 3 shrimps in a large bowl of pasta. The waiters were nice but it was many different people I could see why it was miscommunication with our food. 2 waiters one of them was the host, then 2 servers passing the food by number then someone else giving our checks back so we had to make sure everybody got their correct card. I know it's supposed to be steak house, I live in NY and frequent steak restaurants weekly, but there's just nothing special here. Pretty small portions at a very high price. I mean 3 tiny tiny venison ribs for $54, and that didn't include any sides. Service was good. Really not a very creative with the menu, no specials, somewhat boring at a very high price. The service and food quality was exceptionally poor. The steaks we ordered were not cooked properly to our standard which posed a possible health safety concern. The Caesar salad contained anchovy which gave the salad an uncanny fishy smell and taste which was completely disgusting.
