Why my family was in town on vacation. There was about 11 of us knowing it was a big party. We were willing to split into two smaller parties. They sent us all together, which was fine. We sit outside, even though we asked to be inside and there was nobody there cause it wasn't very busy. I took my daughter and g-daughter out for lunch today. Good food and service. The cheese curds were the draw for the 5 year old. Well, I wasn't too impressed by this Ford's Garage. While the service was top notch, everything else was just meh, had a burger and a fish sandwich. Tried both and they were both just average. The burger was cooked to my satisfaction, but they didn't put any seasoning on it and the bun was cold, although there was a brand on it like it was toasted. The fish on the sandwich was a good portion, but just okay. The fries were over seasoned so if you put the fries on the burger it actually balanced itself out. My biggest complaint is the beer menu didn't match the taps, so my first two beer orders could not be fulfilled. In fact the beer I settled on was not even on the beer menu and it turned out to be quite awful. So much so that I didn't even get through half of it. And, the waitress didn't even offer to take it off the menu or give something else. Her tip was minimal... sorry, but my expectations are higher when it comes to chains. Would I return to this location? Absolutely not! But I have had much better experiences at other Ford's Garage locations, which makes this visit even more disappointing. read more

We had such a great experience at Ford's Garage in Championsgate! We were seated right away, and our server Autumn was fantastic -- super friendly, attentive, and made our visit even more enjoyable. For drinks, I ordered a vodka cranberry and my husband had a Stella Artois. We started with the French onion soup, which was easily one of the best we've ever had! For entrées, I ordered the Brisket Rachero Roadster burger with jalapeño creamed corn, and my husband had the Chicken Henry with mashed potatoes and jalapeño creamed corn. Both dishes were delicious -- the meats were tender and flavorful, and the BBQ sauce on my burger was amazing. The portions were just right too -- not too big or too small. For dessert, we shared the key lime pie, which did not disappoint! Autumn mentioned it's made fresh daily, and you can definitely taste the difference. Service was excellent throughout -- drinks, appetizers, and dessert came out quickly, and even though the entrées took a little longer, it was totally worth the wait. The atmosphere and décor are so much fun! They use mechanic rags as napkins, there's a vintage Ford car hanging over the bar, and even the bathrooms are cleverly themed -- the sink basin is a tire and the faucet is a gas pump. This place is fun. I absolutely loved the decor and little details they put into everything (like the bathroom sinks being made out of tires!). The food was ok. I got the burger and fries. My fries were better than the burger. The best part was sitting at the bar and getting to nerd out on the ice strip that keeps your drinks cold. Pretty nice to have when you babysit your drinks, like I do. I wish all places would have these. The bartender was great and poured a solid drink. Visited from Southern California with our extended family (party of 15) on Sunday evening and had a wonderful experience. The service was great and the food even better. We had several different appetizers that everyone loved (even the kids). No one had anything negative to say about their meal. I had the special 101 burger and it was delicious. The decor and special themed touches were a lot of fun. The kids kept wanting to use the restroom because they loved that it was themed as well. The decor here was stellar. Everything from the Model T above the bar to the silverware presentation and supplies stored in tool boxes, it's all extremely on theme. The Onion rings were truly some of the best I've ever had. Their presentation on the old oil can was so unique as well! My main meal, the Pulled Pork Mac and cheese was fine. The pork was delicious but the Mac was missing that cheesy sauce taste I was hoping for. The most jarring moment was receiving the check where an automatic 20% service fee was attached to the check. I at minimum tip 20% so this was no issue in the grand scheme of things, but unraveling the mystery of this fee without it saying why it was on the receipt or on entrance to the restaurant was just a bit odd. Now that we know about that service fee, I'm happy to return with a better expectation of built in pricing. read more

We've been here several times and had a solid experience each go. They are less busy than some of their sister locations in Orlando and that makes seating a bit easier. The servers have been very nice and accommodating to snap and large groups alike. We celebrated my daughter's birthday a few months back with close family at this location as it's relatively in the middle of all the people involved. They were able to handle our reservations over the phone, had us set up upon arrival and were great throughout. My personal fave is the estate burger with sweet potatoes tots. They do solid milkshakes as well. Overall: A Good location with solid service and love the burgers. read more

Oof. After driving by this place almost every day since it opened, I made the fatal mistake of giving them a shot. That's on me. The experience was so bad that no one in my group will ever go back and it's an easy one-and-done. Let's go to the tape! Overall Score: -7/10 That's a negative 7 out of 10, for those wondering. Probably the worst service I've had in a restaurant possibly ever. Some quick lowlights: - Our food took about 45-50 minutes. It wasn't even busy. - Our server never bought us napkins. We asked 3 times. - When the food did come, a couple dishes were made incorrectly. One dish they completely didn't bring its side. - Another server, (female name started with an R? ) was the most miserable human I've encountered in a while. After asking our server to change a TV to a certain channel for a baseball game, she flagged down this little ray of sunshine who came stomping over with a pissed off attitude and a remote. We repeatedly told her "it's on Fox," as she rolled her eyes, loudly exhaled, and rudely said "ok this is all I have - Fox News." I thought this was a sports bar? Luckily, after we sat through her tantrum and helped coach her through the process of finding FOX, we got to witness her storm off to the hostess stand and complain about us, complete with gestures towards our table! Thanks! - I tried to just pay for the appetizers and leave at the 45 min mark of our food not showing up, magically it came out a few seconds later. - The food we did get wasn't even good. It was mostly cold or overcooked. Which is odd. - The manager did try to help, cutting 10% off the bill and comping one remake and the kid's meals, but instead of bringing out a missing item she just took it off the bill. They really didn't want to be bothered. - Oh, she was also kind enough to comp us a dessert and rained down plastic packets of to go silverware because she "didn't feel like huntin' down spoons." A crazy request in a restaurant, I know. Anyway, I'd advise skipping this place and going to Chili's or Ale House instead. I really have nothing good to say about this place. Oh, wait, I lied - I got urinate into a keg they hollowed out in the bathroom and fashioned into urinal, and wash my hands in a giant fake tire sink, so they had that going for them. Ford'd Garage is an excellently themed restaurant that consistently delivers. Their location at Champions Gate is stellar. The decor is ingenious. Their drink selection is fantastic especially if you love draft beers on tap. Their burgers are the star here, or so I thought, but I found out they excel in other areas as well. First, get the onion rings. They are thick with a perfect crust and just great flavor. They come in a tower on an old school oil spout and they're as good as you'll have anywhere. I looked over the burgers and since I couldn't decide between 4-5 excellent choices I had prior, I just decided to go with the beer battered fish and chips. After catching a bunch of looks from around the table, I made everyone jealous. It's huge, the fish cooked perfectly and the batter divine. It's brought out on a bed of fries (chips) that were the perfect compliment. Everything that everyone had was done extremely well. Service was impeccable. I highly recommend you give Ford's Garage a try. The location in Champions Gate is exceptional. read more

The chips and pretzel appetizer were spot on with the flavors. I was very impressed with how they handled all the entrees getting them sent out timely and fresh and hot. Usually when you have a large group half the group is ready to leave and the other half hasn't gotten their food yet. This place has the timing down perfect.
