Long story short, my partner had heard Tom Hamilton mention this restaurant and I had it on my list for a while. We finally found a good day to come and I'm glad we did. Our waiter, Adam, was very kind and attentive. Even though it started to get packed, he always made sure to check in on us. I got the surf and turf which was cooked to perfection. The steak was tender and the lobster tail was perfectly buttered. I also got the garden salad, which came with my entree, and it was just as good as it looks in other pictures that have been taken. Service was top notch, and never needed anything. Bread service was delicious with our BBQ bacon and BBQ shrimp appetizers. For dinner we had two filet mignon steaks and one strip, all cooked perfectly. The sides were asparagus, cheesy broccoli, potato and Brussels. I'd skip the broccoli next time, but everything else was delicious. We took desserts to go but I never got around to eating mine. They looked delicious! Me and my family came in for my grandpa's birthday. We were seated immediately. This restaurant definitely has a cozy cabin vibe and is very small! We felt pretty cramped at our table with the servers going in between our table and the next one with very little space. Not that it was a big deal to us but the servers butts were very close if not touching the side of our table when navigating around. I would definitely recommend a full booth, they looked to have more space and away from other parties. Our food was amazing! My grandpa ordered the Delmonico steak and had a lot of gristle and we are not ones to complain but the manager noticed an issue and immediately got him a new steak. The second one was amazing! Came here to celebrate Valentine's Day so take that in consideration for the review. The best thing about cabin club is their price. You get complimentary bread and a salad and side with your steak meal, you won't leave hungry! It's a fantastic deal so I love that! I think people like that the place looks nice but not pretentious but I felt a little uncomfortable. The range of vibes were so different (I had a long skirt and top since it is a nicer steak house but someone next to me is be in jeans and a plain t shirt). We were really excited about their mushrooms which is written as their specialty and I was not a fan...unsure if it's cooked with red wine but it had a pungent red wine taste and probably wasn't reduced enough. I did enjoy my lobster tail and the wide variety of menu options for seafood and meat lovers. My medallion was seasoned and cooked well but my partner's was dry and bland. There was inconsistencies with the cookery which may also be due to it being Valentine's Day. Had a great experience and dinner at Cabin Club! The drinks were good! I had the sangria and a glass of Riesling and both were delicious. The wagyu beef carpaccio was good, but it would have been better if it was on a crostini or bread. We ended up using the bread they gave us for the table and put the beef on top. The steak was great. At the Cabin Club last night to celebrate our 33rd wedding anniversary and our daughters MBA graduation. It was a really great dining experience. The service was outstanding. Friendly and efficient!! We had crab cakes and scallops for appetizers and both were excellent. The Lobster Bisque and French Onion soup were excellent. We all had steaks of different cuts and they were all very tasty and cooked very well. Our waitress brought us two Chocolate Mousse deserts, compliments of the house. We go to the cabin club every year for our anniversary dinner. But we will not be going back. The service and quality has really gone down. My husband ordered the filet cooked medium. When it came out, it was straight raw in the middle. He had the dish sent back and asked for another to be cooked, medium and asked for it to be put in to a to-go container because I was almost finished eating. They brought the meat back out in a to-go container and my husband asked for a knife so that he could cut into it and check it. It was again completely raw in the middle. For the cost of a meal at this restaurant, a patron deserves to get what they are paying for. To get the same meal cooked the exact way and then they expect you to pay the high cost of it is absurd. Amazing Christmas Eve dinner with friends - phenomenal service and food was delicious. We all got filets and I got lobster tail which was cooked to perfection. The mashed potatoes were awesome - the only thing I didn't think was great was the ceasar salad - it was average at best but that didn't take away from overall meal. Last Friday night, our friend Mark invited us to dinner. I had the fillet that was cooked perfectly medium rare, everything was excellent. The atmosphere is very relaxing. The booths are very comfortable. The service is outstanding. The prices are somewhat high but again the food is excellent. The quality is excellent. The service is excellent. Everything is excellent at the cabin club. I will always be going back to the cabin club if you eat at the bar, you get the same menu at half price. We ate inside the restaurant my fillet was $49. Good service and ambience, but awkwardly bad food We had a gift card, so the poor quality didn't hurt as bad as it would from spending our own money. This is a steakhouse, so you expect decent quality steak. I ordered my steak medium rare and my GF ordered hers medium- both came out well done. The waitress was very nice and apologized- a manager also apologized and brought a round of drinks- the new steaks came out within 5 minutes. My GF's steak was again well done- it was so chewy she couldn't eat it. I got the Steak Christopher- one filet was medium and the other was well done- there was also a piece of cartilage in the potatoes and a hair but it was too awkward for me to say anything. I felt bad for the waitress and we were using my GF's gift card so I wasn't financially affected. The wine I ordered had a very sour aftertaste (la boulangerie). We got the chocolate torte for dessert- it was good but they should serve it warm/hot (it came out room temperature). I did really enjoy the ambience (small log cabin feel with lots of golf photos), the bread (10/10), and the staff were very nice. They gave us a free round of drinks and covered one of the entrees- if I made more of a fuss I'm sure they would have covered more. The waitress said the chef was new, as was the computer system. Maybe this was just an unlucky experience for us? Still it was so bad I just can't go back. Sorry for the rough review, but that was unacceptable quality steak out of a steakhouse. read more

In the past I've had the steak Christopher lunch. The sliced steak deal at the bar. Get that med rare at most. I've even done the chicken before. It's all good and worth the coin. Drink specials at the bar full of regulars & the bartenders know them all. Take advantage of the deals if u wish, it's basically half price on the final tab. $75 for lunch. $150 for dinner for 2. My husband and I dined here with another couple on Christmas Eve. The overall experience was a mixed bag but definitely more good than not. The atmosphere here is quaint and cozy. The restaurant was decorated festively for the holiday. Our server was very friendly and had upbeat energy. In terms of food, this is where it gets a bit tricky since it was a bit all over the place. The calamari with a sun dried tomato sauce (not pictured here) was absolutely excellent. It wasn't overly breaded and the sauce paired really well with it. The French onion soup which was recommended was mediocre at best. It really lacked flavor and that was the consensus from our table of 4. We also thought the tater tots were mediocre. The dipping sauce didn't really add much and they needed that to be on point. My friend was very disappointed by her Caesar salad. The bourbon sauce on my filet dish was outstanding, although, it was undercooked based on what I ordered. The mashed potatoes served with it were a real high point. Both desserts were very good. I came here for a nice night out with my parents and it was lovely! It was decorated for the Christmas season so the wood gleamed from the twinkling lights. We started with the calamari ($14) which was lovely - well fried and the aioli was amazing. My mom and I got Mango Peach Bellinis ($9.50 each) that weren't too dry and fresh. My mom, weirdly enough, wanted a burger. She got the Cabin Club burger ($14) and she loved it. My dad got the 10z New York Strip Steak ($54) a la carte that came with a massive salad. If you want to spend 2 hours waiting for salty food, Cabin Club is for you! We made the highly anticipated trip to Cabin Club for my husband's birthday. After seeing the hype online, we were excited to try it out. We were disappointed when our waitress disappeared for 30 minutes upon our arrival, prompting my father-in-law to beg another waiter for water and bread. By the time our waitress remembered we existed, we were hungry and ready to put in our entrees. The appetizers, soups, and salads came out almost immediately - a bright spot in an otherwise bleak evening. The French onion soup and iceberg lettuce salad were delicious. Once we finished, we had the pleasure of waiting an additional hour and half for our entrees to come out. Once they finally did come out, my father in law's and mother in law's steak were cooked the wrong way and all the food tasted like it had been dunked in salt. You couldn't taste any of the dishes because everything was so salty - which would have been bearable if our waitress had bothered to refill our waters. Overall, we didn't end up leaving until 9:45pm for a 7:30pm reservation. There are so many wonderful steakhouses in Cleveland - I would recommend going to any of them before Cabin Club. It was a great way to ruin a special occasion! read more
