What do you do when you're in a part of town that you normally don't go and need something to eat? Yelp it! Located in East Atlanta Village in a little while in the wall off of busy Flat Shoals Ave there is no parking and street parking is a pain. I drove around for about 5 minutes before I was lucky enough to find a spot. I ordered the vings(vegan wings) with a mixture of honey hot and sweet chili sauce with French fries. The French fries were seasoned a little too well as they were on the salty side. The vings were actually pretty tasty.

I live in EAV and previously enjoyed the wings. Looks like they struggle with a good supplier but still high prices for the size of the wing. The photos show a typical restaurant 2 oz container for sauces(ranch and blue cheese pictured) compared to the wing sizes. The hot flavor was decent, the blue cheese was good, but the wings were just too small.

The weekend is for wings, but it can be tricky to find good wings during quarantine. After a lot of yelp detective work we decided on The Wing Bar. Initially, we called in after viewing the menu on yelp and the phone only rang once or twice they picked up quickly. After placing the order which was very detailed the lady taking the order didn't repeat it to us. My boyfriend instantly panicked because my food requests are specific and can make or break my dining experience. The young lady on the phone provided confirmation that it would be ready in 10 minutes, the total amount and told us to go ahead and come to the restaurant. We ordered two 10pc wing combos and of course while my boyfriend opted for the basics, I went for the gusto. I ordered the mild honey wings and lemon pepper wet. It made sense to split them up and try two of the flavors at once. The wings are crispy which is what I like and despite other reviews the fries were perfect. They also have a new health score of 91 which is great. The wings were crunch on the outside and sauced to perfection. The mild honey was good, but I didn't taste any honey. I also thought they were more on the hot side and could have been sauced better. There was a lot of sauce in the bottom on the fries which was tasty, but I would of liked my wings to be fully sauced. I probably won't order that flavor again. The lemon pepper wet were good and just the perfect wing overall. The had enough lemon pepper and the perfect amount of sauce. These will be my go to moving forward. The combos come with a drink or bottled water which is good and were only $10.99 which is a great meal price. They were literally ready in 10 minutes and there was no wait which is a good thing. I will definitely be visiting this place again and trying some of the other flavors.

First off, this is a black owned restaurant in EAV, so we came out to support after protesting all day! I got lemon pepper and hot wings and fries. The wings were smaller than I thought they'd be, but still had a lot of meat on them. ALSO the side of fries was HUGE. The flavor of the lemon pepper off the charts. The hot, delicious. The fries were seasoned and made a 10 min car drive without getting soggy. Definitely will be revisiting. Something to note, they are a very busy business so order over the phone / ahead! Lastly - they have vegan offerings!! I'll have to try those next.

I came here the day I heard they had vegetarian wings(vings)! Parking is dreadful and the place really is a pick-up only spot because inside is very small but the staff was warm and pleasant. I ordered Vings combo with lemon pepper sauce and crinkle fries and bottled water. Then a 5 piece order of Vings wings sweet chili sauce and Sriracha sauce. Everything is made to order, fries were crispy with some season salt and wings were hot and DELICIOUS!! Bonus: they have vegan ranch and bleu cheese dressing.

I was quite happy with my visit here. The wings are good not great and bit on the small side. I really enjoyed the fries tho, wing shops generally have trash fries but not here. I had the lemon pepper and ranch wings and both were full of flavor. I would definitely recommend this spot. read more

Lenwood Crumb here to tell you that The Wing Bar in Atlanta's East Atlanta Village are the best wings in town! The staff is friendly, they have a TV inside that played a show that made me laugh (can't remember the stinking name of it for the life of me though), and of course the wings are fantastic. I eat pretzels all day so I can stave off hunger pangs in order to get as many wings as possible right when they open. Ever since my wife left me, this place has been a godsend. Never will I wonder what's for dinner (if it is Wednesday through Sunday, that is)! The answer is The Wing Bar! Get your tale over there and gobble em up ha ha ha (a little poultry humor for ya). Let me start with the positive: the young lady at the front counter was definitely a sweetheart! The establishment was clean and neat. I went to this establishment due to the high score but I was definitely disappointed in the wings. I ordered lemon pepper all drums (no up charge for this) but they were burnt and no lemon pepper taste. The wings were overcooked and not good. I could tell the grease the wings were cooked in needed to be changed (the grease taste old). Unfortunately I won't be back to give them a 2nd chance. I wish them the best of luck! read more

It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon and I wasn't sure what to eat for lunch. Sooooo I just decided to "wing" it and try this place out. At first I felt a little too chicken :-) to come to this place since there are so many crappy wing places in Atlanta. However, this place exceeded every expectation that I had. The wing size was perfect, sauces were flavorful, texture was crispy and the prices make me not want to cook wings myself. This place shows how simplicity beats fancy gimmicks/choices any day of the week. Lemon pepper destroys, hot destroys, hot honey destroys....yup it's all good. Was looking for a late night spot for some good veggie/vegan type meals. Searched and came up on this spot that provides options for those that don't eat meat...and boy was I impressed!! Their different flavors of vings (vegan wings) taste so close to the real thing, it was like a carnival in my mouth!! I ordered the sriracha flavored vings with fries! DOPE! I got the BBQ wings and hot. Both were great, but I loved the BBQ. The split them up for me. The wing size is small/med, but they are cheap. They're also open late so when you're drunk on the wknd this is a good place to swing by. read more

cheap, quality food open late night. sweet potato fries are really tasty. lemon pepper is bright and tangy, not too salty. hot honey is really delicious. can be a bit slow since everything is cooked to order, so order ahead. my fav wing spot in atlanta so far easily. read more

My wings were cooked to perfection! I'm really hesitant to go to wing places because I like my wings crispy but juicy, and The Wing Bar nailed it! I meant to post my review on Wednesday when I made my way to The Wing Bar. Outstanding customer service from the time I stepped in. I placed my order once I got there and the wait time was minimal. I tired to wait until I made it home before taking my first bite, but they were smelling so good, I had to nibble at the light. I was able to save a few til I got home. The wings are delish. I wanted half lemon-pepper and half mild, but I believe they misunderstood because the two sauces were mixed together. I never tried it like that, but I'm glad I did. I will be frequenting this establishment. Congratulations again, and much success! read more

I really needed some bad-for-me food to end the week, and I am so disappointed. The woman at the counter was fantastic, friendly and welcoming. The food, unfortunately, is a let down. I got medium heat wings and fries. It's pretty clear the fries are frozen in a bag. The wings were very small, a bit over sauced and a little overcooked. I'm new to town so I been trying to try out all the food places around my home. I looked this up on yelp and I'm glad I did. Their wings are sha-poppin!!! Their fries could use some seasoning but the wings were the perfect size for the price. I got a 10 pc half medium and half lemon pepper. The wings were crispy enough and wet enough to meet the needs of wing connoisseurs like myself. Didn't get to take a picture because they were too good! Yes, the "vings" are vegan wings that are apparently extremely popular. We didn't try them during our visit but we were told that they sell out almost as quickly as they can get them in.

They list liquor on their website so I thought it would be a good place for me and my husband since I don't drink beer but he does. They also list wine. They only had 1 wine available, which was a can of Stella Rosa Black. My husband called it soda lol. It was 5% alcohol, in line with the seltzers they have. I started to get one as they had some flavors I might like but I thought we were hitting another spot and wanted to save my alcohol limit on something I really wanted. I'm not sure if I'll be back to try it though. I ordered the jerk chicken egg rolls. I liked them, my husband not so much. They are not spicy which suited me fine and I asked before ordering them the spice level. The sauce that comes with it really adds the jerk flavor, not spice. They came out piping hot. I would order them again if we returned. This next oops was on me. I saw they had oysters, but didn't check to see if they had raw oysters, which my husband loves. They have a variety of baked oysters and some fried ones. I like them chargrilled so that didn't work for me either. As they say, reading is fundamental. Had I done my homework we probably wouldn't have stopped in last night. But I wanted to support black owned businesses on Juneteenth. I hope they make it as they're the only black owned brewery in Atlanta as noted on their website. There's parking around the corner. The restaurant as I could see was clean. The server was friendly despite being overworked. Go try them if you're a beer &/or seltzer drinker and like baked or fried oysters.

I'm disappointed to say that my experience at Wing Bar was a total letdown. The wings, which I was expecting to be the star of the show, were lackluster and overcooked. The sauces, which I was looking forward to trying, were bland and unimpressive. The service was slow and unfriendly, and the atmosphere was lacking. For a place that specializes in wings, I expected a lot more. Unfortunately, I won't be returning to Wing Bar anytime soon. read more
