What was delivered, however, was more like air-fryer chicken tenders. No shattering exterior any of the fantastic gloopy sauces. Instead, the sauces seem to be supermarket deli sauces in individual plastic packages. I might be suffering from a cultural misfire, but I've had chimaek in Los Angeles's Koreatown and also in a much beloved place in Edmonton, Alberta, and while this chicken isn't a bad fast food snack, this isn't chimaek. The staff were pleasant and helpful and the restaurant itself is tidy and well-lighted. No complaints there.
