My friend & I stopped in while she was visiting Grand Rapids . I've been to this location before & have never had any complaints but tonight our experience was beyond incredible due to the service of Jackie. We had Jackie as our waitress & she took remarkable care of us. She was quick, she was kind, & she made sure we had everything we needed and then some without us even having to ask. Jackie is phenomenal & when I visit Texas Roadhouse again I will be asking for her. This was the best experience dining out I have had in awhile.

Supposed to be med rare but was medium.

Went to a steakhouse. Ordered a filet medallion medium. Another party member ordered medium rare and mine was red and his was pink. Server was nice.

Service and food were excellent. We had about a 20min wait for our party of 6, which was no problem. We simply listened to music in the car. Food came out in a timely manner and our waitress was on top of everything. The sirloins and ribeyes are so tender and buttery. The mashed potatoes are some of my favorite. Heck even the salads are fantastic. And the rolls are unlike any other. That cinnamon butter hits the spot every-time. I refrained from eating more than one this time because I've definitely spoiled my dinner other nights. I love taking out of town guests here because it's such a special treat. There is so much to look at on the walls and someone nearby is always having a birthday.

It's okay. It's corporate fare. We go because the kids love it along with the game console. My hubby likes it because the steak is big, cheap and unfortunately tastes better than most privately owned establishments at a fraction of the price. So, here we are. I ordered the filet medallions (9oz) with choice of sauce and 3 sides for $23.99. Can't really beat that price. Everything tasted good except my salad. Half way through I found something inedible in it from the kitchen. So, I let the waitress know, she got the manager, whom was a young lady and I think she apologized and offered a replacement. I wasn't really interested. I had the rest of my meal. It was okay, as expected. I got the bill, and asked for a discount and they complied. So, no complaints, but management could do better and not make me seek remuneration for the restaurant's error. We probably will be back as the family likes this place very much.

I stopped in to eat Sunday night after driving 4 hours for work travel. Carson, the bartender was amazing!! Very attentive, continually asking how my dinner was, if I needed anything etc. he chatted w me about the NCAA game I was watching as well as if I was from the area. Food was great, service was top notch and very personable!!

Raw, gooey, undercooked rolls in our to-go order.

I was surprised at how long it took for the 2 hosts to greet us - as we were standing directly in front of them. They were talking to one another, and it was probably work related, but to just stand there staring at them for a couple minutes while they ignored us was awkward. When they finally talked to us they weren't very friendly. Anyway, we made our way to the bar and it was full except for 3 seats. I think the bartender waiting on us was new. He seemed like he was pretty overwhelmed/in the weeds. He greeted us quickly and brought us waters when he did, which I appreciated. I ordered a Blackeberry Bourbon Sour and my Mr had Paloma Nuestra. We both enjoyed our drinks they were refreshing and well crafted. For dinner I had a really hard time deciding! I wanted to try so many things! Our bartender said his favorite thing in the menu is the chicken and rice bowl. That was something I was considering and decided to go with that. Excellent recommendation! The chicken was flavorful and so tender. The hot peppers were a nice touch. There was a lot of food too! I couldn't finish it all. Mr had the hanger steak that was served with mushroom and asparagus risotto. He said the risotto was the best he's ever had, and I agree. The asparagus was perfectly cooked and so was the steak. The space is really nice, felt intimate without being overcrowded. We are looking forward to coming back!

Fries and brussels were delicious, but the lobster mac is overrated (bland) and our steaks were mediocre. Both were slightly overcooked (not a dealbreaker, but for $85/each I'd expect better). Add in the fact that they just drown them in butter and salt to hide the poor cooking (somehow, very little sear and barely any grill marks on one of the two steaks). Service was excellent - I'll give it that, but it was a little slow at the end once our meal had concluded to get us packed up / being a check. Atmosphere - it feels upscale, but that's just because of the prices and menu selection / options. Food came out quickly, portions were good for the price. They also validate parking for the lot just behind their building (street parking is tight / limited). Unfortunately, it's unlikely that we'd come back. Good news is, there are lots of other options for special occasions in town so weigh your options before booking here.

Walking in, the hostess was extremely sweet and welcoming. Our service team was just as gracious. I have not experienced this level of service in a very long time. Perfection! My martini was exactly what I had in mind. I wanted a citrus martini extra cold. Our server shook the shaker at the table and asked if it was cold enough for me. It had a little squeeze of fresh lemon that has me thinking about its perfection still. Our dinners were more than delicious. Layers of flavor, executed with precision, surprised and delighted us. My steak was cooked to the perfect temperature. My friend's salmon Oscar was incredible. The potatoes were gooey good. We commented on the tasty dinner rolls and the server sent us home with a few. Make sure to notice the delivery of your entrees. Two servers arrived, raised the plates above our heads, and made a toast with the tap of our plates together, before placing them in front of us. We got a kick out of it and won't forget it.

At first I was hesitant because of the price, and it being biscuits, but they made me eat those words and more. It was like a large biscuit muffin top with jalapeño, cheese and honey glaze (I think) and it came with a white cheddar cheese sauce to dip it in that was outrageously delicious. For a guy who hates cheddar biscuits, I've got to say I'm blown away. My wife ordered the steak with fingerling potatoes and carrots. It was on the pricier side, but yet again well worth it. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the veggies were pretty good too. They had live music playing as well tonight. It was a jazzy kind of vibe and it didn't over power anyone talking or anything. The guy had some serious skill too. To top it off, we had some pretty killer service from everyone there. From the hostess taking our names, random servers walking around, and our fantastic server (I forget her name but she was blonde and worked upstairs and had a a really great attitude. The expo or food runner dropping our food off anticipated us possibly needing an extra plate and brought one without asking which was super awesome and ended up coming in handy ( I knew my wife wouldn't finish that steak alone) and she brought it without asking and was ready with a smile to get more. I used to be a GM (I hate when people use this saying but...) truly I know how hard it is to find good workers and the folks running it here seem to have it down. I come from a place where you have to drive 100 mi or more for average service. So seeing exceptional service is really almost too good to be true. I'd definitely stop in for a bite. It's worth every penny. We'll be back for dessert, they have seasonal crème brûlées!

I dined at TOG today for a business lunch and, unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing…read more At the end of our meal, I asked for a to-go box because I had barely touched my food. My guest and I spent most of our lunch talking, and I left with nearly an entire meal. About 20 minutes after leaving, I realized I had forgotten my box and immediately called the restaurant to see if it was still there. The young lady who answered the phone asked where I had been seated. I explained that I was at the very first table at the front of the restaurant. Within seconds, she told me there was nothing there. Her tone made it clear that assisting me was not a priority. Given that the hostess stand is located at the back of the restaurant and I was seated at the front, I do not believe there was enough time for her to actually check before dismissing my concern. After I sent an email regarding the situation, the hostess responded that she had walked through the restaurant looking for the box. Based on the timing of our phone conversation, I find that difficult to believe. In her response, she also stated that she checked with the servers after our call had ended, which suggests that no real effort was made while I was on the phone. What is most disappointing is that I am a regular customer. Today, I paid $56.00 for lunch for myself and my business guest. Between a server who was largely absent throughout the meal and the dismissive interaction when I called about my forgotten food, the level of service fell far below what I have come to expect. Everyone has an occasional bad day, but customer service is often defined by how issues are handled after something goes wrong. In this case, I felt dismissed rather than helped. Unfortunately, after today's experience, I do not plan to return.
