Great wings the owners are amazing this spot was recommended to me by a Memphis local (the owners brother) this spot did not disappoint the wings were crispy and tossed in the sauce real well the lemon Pepper is amazing and so is the Aprils special sauce with Parmesan on top. Their selection of desserts as well are amazing i recommend the millionaire cookie. Customer service was great made me feel welcome and like family as I had a lot of questions about the menu and they graciously walked me thru it. Deep down inside I hate to rate this restaurant so low, but due to several disappointing experiences, I must. I frequent here often because it's the closest wing spot by my house. The wings are delicious, so no complaint there, but my biggest complaint is the service. Every time I have visited, there are side conversations happening that keeps the employees from focusing on customers. There is always a crowd of people sitting in the lobby visiting but not eating. Each time I have ordered they leave something off my order. Consistency is the key when running a restaurant. I always order lemon pepper which usually comes with lemon chunks mixed in the sauce (This is why they were my favorite wings from here). The last two times I ordered them there was no lemon in the lemon pepper wings. I have endured and not complained but after ordering tonight and them leaving my rolls and ranch out I've had enough. The only reason I didn't go lower than 3 stars is because the owners and staff are genuinely nice people, so I'm cutting them some slack. read more

Wing Factory is in the heart of Orange Mound; my husband told me as we drove closer to the location. I humped my shoulder's how was I supposed to know, I just bought the Groupon. Any who, I'm still learning Memphis. I guess the "Mound" is a sketchy area. But the Wing Factory is not a sketchy place. It sits in the center of a little dingy rundown strip mall. But the inside of the wing factory is clean as a whistle. You can sit down and eat in there or you can just get it to go. Came here this past Saturday with my youngin. All the way from Cordova, because I hadn't had it in sooo long. I got a catfish and wing combo and my son had a party wing combo. It was live in the place so if you want a peaceful meal, this ain't the place. It sounded like the club in there Saturday night. Only thing I had a problem with was some gross person had left their finger nails on the counter in front of the register (a customer I'm sure). I came here initially to pick up a door dash order and NO one was social distancing and the service was subpar at best. The manager and I got into a verbal dispute because it overstepped his boundaries and was severely disrespectful. Ruben, the owner came out and I explained to him what took place and he offered an apology and offered me a free meal meal next time I came. I came back a few days later and ordered a 3 piece lemon pepper combo. The lemon pepper wings had small seasoned lemon slices on the chicken was that was very unique and really flavorful. They also had kool aid and it was pretty good. The customer service was much better, but they were really bagged up and NO social distancing which is the new normal! I tried to call in the order to avoid my 30 minute wait, but no one answered. Once I arrives I was informed no phone orders were being taken because they were overloaded with orders. Don't do like I did and judge this place by the surrounding area! I purchased a groupon and then didn't use it! Well a month went by and today I decided to use it. So glad that I did! My 9 year old loves loves wings and she said this place is better than any of her other favorite places! The fried fish was on point and the spaghetti was great too! The best wings I've found in Memphis every time. Even on a bad day for them (little crunchier than normal, a little less sauce etc), they're still the best wings I've had and that's crazy. We discovered The Wing Factory while looking for a good place to eat wings that wouldn't break the bank. Since our first time eating here, we've been back at least once a week, sometimes twice. Needed a quick place to stop for wings after work. Surprisingly this place was very clean (the outside area is a little less welcoming). I ordered the whole wings, fries, and fried okra. The food was great! Wings were big and delicious! The fries were actually very good with a great seasoning on it and the okra was pretty standard. The value for food was also great. What really blew the experience was the time it took to get the food. We arrived and no one was in there. A lot of the other popular wing spots within a couple miles are good but really inconsistent. Either they forget your order as you're waiting for an hour or they serve you some cold, sloppy, chewy wings.there hasn't been a time that I've been to wing factory and it wasn't really good, and I've never been treated with anything less than complete respect. Wings have a nice, consistent crispy outside, hot and tender inside. Sauce is on point too. Bypass the hype of chings, and don't wait 45 minutes for some wings.
