All the way from COS to try this place out on a recommendation of a co-worker. Was it worth it? Hell yes it was! Wings were excellent. Why hasn't anyone thought of Fire Ranch before? I got a pound of Fire Ranch and immediately realized I had hit the flavor jackpot. The rest of the menu looks wonderful to me, but I will probably never get a chance to comment on it because I am locked into these wings. Holy cow. Hot Diggity!!! This place not only makes some of the most mind defining wings in the Denver Metro area, it has some of the best brews in Denver. Really, their beer on tap is quite amazing, it has all kinds of great seasonal beers. And that service!!! It's got quite the atmosphere, which is set up by the great music played. We've been on a mission to try more small businesses in our area and break away from the big chains. This little wing restaurant is tucked away in a small shopping area. Ordered boneless wings and fries with buffalo and barbecue sauce. The sauce menu is huge and take a while to figure out what you want. You get one sauce for every order of wings. The order did not take long and it was packed since it's small and was Sunday. I like the small setting for a Sunday. It felt very unpretentious. Just there to enjoy wings with fellow neighbors. The boneless wings were a good size. They were doused in sauce which some like and some don't. I thought they were good and I honestly would rather come here to order wing than the big Wing Stop. And as far as food if you are ok with waiting 25 minutes for 5 chicken wings then you should stop by. As far as taste for the price you are better off spending your money at a B dubs. Again. My fingers are covered with dripping sauce, I have felt this before at many other restaurants, but it's not about how much the wings drip, it's about how they taste. As I carefully choose which wing I want next, I spot the pictures around me of the many before me that had been hit in the face with sauce balloons. Napkins alone for this meal won't do, wet wipes; at least 7 of them will be needed. Walking in to this small master bedroom sized restaurant the smell of fresh cooked chicken wings soaked in sauces hits the nose with a cayenne flavored baseball bat. The fried potatoes I've learned come in two styles, straight and curly. I chose curly, because of the winding paths of each individual curl and a reminder of a spring when it bounces. My meal, altogether for $8.99, was a lunch special, from 11:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. daily. I ordered 1 pound of medium flavored wings with a drink and fries. The wings arrived at my table about ten minutes after I ordered in a basket with red and white "table cloth" paper lining a red basket. My fries, curly of course, were located to the side of the wings, protected from the sauce with another liner under the wings. My food was presented just like chicken wings should be, not too fancy and focused on the wings themselves. It's time to dig in. Being a big fan of just regular, classic style wings, I was pleased with my food. If a different kind of flavor is wanted, there are over thirty to choose from, which also include dry seasonings. The chicken was cooked but not dried out. Sauce covered every fold of skin on the wing and dripped onto the chicken on the inside as I took bite after bite. The outside of the wing was not too crispy either, but it wasn't soggy and falling apart before my teeth touched it. These wings left my fingers drenched in sauce, don't wear white because the chances of getting sauce on it is high. Wet napkins are provided to clean fingers prior to washing hands in the bathroom. The atmosphere of Wing Hut reminds me of my home. The floor is a checkerboard of white and blue, making it easy on the eyes. The walls are painted red with a roof top look on the bottom half. There are pictures of customers enjoying their wings posted around the dining area and makes it feel like a close-knit family. Family is welcomed in the restaurant, with games for kids while the food is being prepared at a table in the corner. The tables that are located inside are the ones that could be found in households everywhere, not just metal tables, but ash colored with matching chairs. The staff is friendly and seemed happy to have more people in the restaurant eating their wings. For those who don't like the idea of the door opening and closing several times during the meal, because of the in and out customers picking up their wings and leaving, may not want to eat in the restaurant. That being said, wing pickup is also available at Wing Hut. Alcohol is served at the restaurant including several craft beers from Colorado, including Dry Dock Brewery, New Belgium Fat Tire, and more. If the level of spice worries some, the wings are listed from lowest amount of heat to highest, and include flavors such as barbeque, teriyaki, sweet and sour, salt and vinegar, and more. Should be called the leg hut, not that this is a problem! This is a small place to grab some grub especially the awesome fried okra. With 40 varities of sauces fpor your wings you have plenty of options, all of which are very good. The wings are prepared per order so it takes about 10 minutes for your food to come out but that gives you plenty of time to chat with friends or just watch the large flat screen on the wall with a cold glass of the homemade sweet tea! Its never really busy here so it feels more personal than a large chain such as woodys or bw3s. read more

Amazing! I would stop at that but I'd like to share a bit more. I walked in and was immediately greeted with a smile! The gentleman that waited on me was so kind and helpful. I was in a crappy mood because my hand was slammed in my car door earlier and he managed to lift me up somehow. Then the other employees there had such warm and welcoming personalities, I loved that! I would've hugged the whole staff but that would've been weird, right? The wings = pure perfection and the funnel cake fries = a sweet piece of heaven sprinkled in powdered sugar. I called in an order for garlic Parmesan boneless wings and the hottest wings they had on the menu, both were delicious- but not as spicy as I would have liked. Delicious!!!!! I look for lemon herb chicken wings, reminds me of good times in my childhood, and this place is better than my memory of the best. First off, this flavor is not on the menu, it's something they make on demand. That means that every time it's ordered they mix the sauce right then and there. No pre-bottled crap like at pudge brothers, fresh made every time. That's incredible in this day and age of over processed, preservative full, dull tasting, how do I pronounce these, ingredients. The wings were cooked to order, the fries were cooked to order, and everything came out fresh and hot and mouthwatering. I paid $8.19 for a half pound of wings (4 pieces) and curly fries(about a med size fry at any to go place) and a 20oz soda. More than I would at McD's and less than I would at Buffalo Wild Wings. I think it was well worth it for the quality and the exceptional service. The four different people I spoke to and who helped me were bright, cheerful, polite, and informative. I also observed them treat every customer who stepped thru the doors the same way. One last thing..... They have wonderful craft beers here and are more than happy to tell you about them. And then you are invited to enjoy your food and drink (they offer more than just chicken wings and fries)at a nice indoor table or at one of their wonderful outdoor tables. I can't believe the positive reviews. I think there might be something fishy with the ratings. The wings were tiny with very little meat. They are soaked in sauce so it's more like wing soup. Neither the Teriaki or the hot flavor tasted good at all. I ate a pound of wings alone without even getting full. The staff did seem very nice and friendly so I don't want to write a bad review. However, I don't want someone to get excited about this place, like I did, only to be severely disappointed. read more
