It's overpriced and the staff are kind of snobbish. But what are you gonna do? It's a thrift store.

Top of the line clothing and home decor. The volunteers who work up front are so friendly and helpful. Great non-profit organization.

Prices are much higher than I remember. Geared mostly towards women. No furniture. No returns. Buy it, you're stuck with it.

Pretty good finds, cheapest thing on the street! Lots of good books and tons of clothes (always 50% off). Recommend peaking in time to time!

You've got to love Goodwill. I live near Midway Airport but decided to take a weekend stroll up to…read moreEvanston, and this was one of my stops. I'll be honest -- I was pleasantly surprised to visit, but not necessarily because of the items. When the store first opened that morning, it was already pretty messy. Compared to other Goodwill locations I've visited, this one felt much less organized. The store itself was clean, but the racks were chaotic. Clothes were hanging off the racks or scattered, and several employees walked past without straightening things up, which was a little frustrating. I'm used to Goodwills having neat aisles where you can browse comfortably, and this one just didn't have that same level of organization. That said, I do want to give credit where it's due. One employee who stood out was Yareli, the cashier. I wanted to buy an item that required an electrical component, and she was kind enough to go through the electrical section to see if she could find the piece I needed. She couldn't locate it, but when I mentioned that I had the part in my car, she kindly allowed me to step outside and retrieve the piece I needed and ahe held the item at the front. I went out to my car, got the adaptor and came back and tested it, and the light worked perfectly. That small act of kindness really made the experience better. To Yareli's manager: that's exactly how an employee wins over customers -- through patience, kindness, and genuine helpfulness. Prices are a little higher at thia location, but still competitive.

I love stopping into KMK whenever I have free time in Winnetka. The assortment is always changing,…read moreand I walk away with something I love every time I visit. Prices are competitive with what you'd find through online resellers, with the added advantage of being able to try everything on in person. I'd absolutely recommend it to anyone interested in thrifting, consignment, or designer pieces. I've found Saint Laurent heels, as well as vintage Prada and Diane von Furstenberg dresses here, and couldn't be happier with my purchases.

Consign Your Attitude, Not My Bags…read more Brought in designer pieces to consign and left with nothing but regret. The owner acted like I was an inconvenience from the start -- curt, condescending, and downright rude. At one point, I was shushed and told I was being too loud... in a boutique quieter than a library. Seriously? If eye rolls and attitude are part of the "luxury experience," count me out. Do yourself a favor -- consign literally anywhere else. Your items (and your dignity) deserve better. If you're considering consigning your items, don't. There are plenty of reputable, respectful consignment shops that value both their clients and the quality of the pieces they're entrusted with. This is not one of them. The owner's attitude makes mold look fresh. Save your time, money, and sanity -- this dumpster fire is not worth it. I regret ever doing business here -- and I won't be back.
