When they were preparing the yard for the plumbers, they neatly piled the rocks and soil on tarps in preparation for the future backfill. They worked in long sleeves and jeans all day in the hot Las Vegas sun with no complaints, and they came fully prepared with their own water and food, which I found out when I offered them water and food. They backfilled my yard fast and neatly, and they poured the new concrete flawlessly. After a delivery person stepped in the large concrete slab leaving his full footprint, the West Coast concrete guys returned and fixed the slab. They also carried off the stack of concrete chunks which they had sawed. They cleaned up the yard and you would never be able to tell that just a day ago, I had a 14" trench in my yard with piles of dirt on tarps everywhere. They are amazing. If you hire them, you will be delighted. They work impressively hard and they do a good job.

The solar lights petered out quickly in the winter or after a cloudy day. I went to my trusty Yelp app and came across Las Vegas Backyards and their many five star reviews. I sent information about my project through Yelp, and I received a response the next business day to setup an estimate. The project manager was very thorough, and he explained his recommendations for the project while keeping aesthetics in mind. The estimate was right in line with what my research had told me was an average price for this type of job. I was, however, a little surprised that the project manager did not arrive with a catalog of various lighting fixture choices to peruse. He did send several photos of his recommended fixtures later that day based on our preference for something modern. Communication was quite good through a group text with all the respective players involved. The date for the install was arranged within a week or so of my inquiry. There was a slight snafu on installation day, as the fixtures we had chosen were sold out. We were sent photos of alternative choices and were able to find a contemporary design that was to our liking. The first part of the installation took about a half day with trenching, running power lines, and installing the fixtures. The second day was a quick installation of the transformer. I was happy to see they had installed a smart transformer with WiFi access and an app to set schedules. I do wish they would've gone over this ahead of time to discuss what type of transformer would be installed (again, I am glad they picked a smart model as that's exactly what I wanted). Unfortunately, one of the spotlights was found to be defective by the installer during their testing. They returned the next afternoon to replace it. Payment was handled in phases with certain percentages due at certain points in the installation. Payment is easily made online with a credit card, but unfortunately there is a surcharge for this type of payment. They do have other payment options if you want to avoid the surcharge. Now we have a wonderful, gorgeous, and very upscale looking landscape lighting setup that really increases the curb appeal! Thank you to Las Vegas backyards!

We could see every single aspect of the project brought to life: every tree, plant, boulder, material choice, the stonework, lighting, patio cover, built-in barbecue, spa deck, and the sunken fire pit.
