They were the best price, best quality and everything looked beautiful. A little miss hap did happen. The plants they originally put in my dogs couldn't be around and they replaced them immediately! They even fixed my broken sprinkler Then two weeks after the gate lost a screw and the dogs got into the nicer area and ruined a plant and they came and fixed everything no questions ask! I rarely write Yelp reviews and especially not before the entire job is completed, but with 90% done, I can certainly assume I've seen enough to give a proper assessment. Seriously, if you need landscaping, (they don't do pools) look no further. The owner Mike Lawrence is not your typical owner. When I say this, I say it with the extreme compliment. He actually is not only knowledgeable, but he listens to what you want and his vision is your vision. If you want advice, he will absolutely give you his, and believe me, he knows what he's doing. He's a quiet guy, nothing rattles him and he's as fair as it gets. You might wonder why I'm giving such a glowing review from what should be expected, but seriously, lots of business's don't treat their customers the way they should. Although our backyard landscape isn't elaborate, it's still has enough that without Mike and his AMAZING workers (these guys come in and out keeping the workspace clean) we would never of gotten exactly what we wanted and expected. These guys are simply brilliant. I was able to work with Mike on the design, going back and forth, making numerous changes until we got it just right. Then the New View crew went to work. They understood the design from the beginning, worked in such a coordinated fashion that they got the job done perfectly and a day ahead of time. The job they did was amazing. Mike was referred to us through a mutual friend. He made a really good impression during our first initial conversational. We looked no further and decided to hire Mike to do our landscaping. At that time, we were also looking into building a pool but didn't know where to start and was afraid to meet the wrong contractor for such a big and pricey project. After seeing the amazing transformation of our neighbor's front yard we contacted Mike for a consultation. He was very patient and practiced active listening so we felt heard and understood. We live in a new construction in Summerlin and recently had the backyard done. However we were not completely satisfied and were considering having the yard completely redone. As far as the front goes...it was a Pulte home and although nice, we wanted a more custom look. Mike, got some rendering back to us...we gave him feedback..he made some changes and this went on about 3-4x. Of note Mike always made the creative changes promptly and never discussed price until the end. Mike knew enough to not discuss cost since we never brought it up. After agreeing on the design we received a quote. We had a great feeling with Mike, from his creative vision, his quality of work of which we saw next door, to his professionalism. These attributes cost money and we did not negotiate. We agreed on a timeline and away we went. Mike had crews there approx 4 days a week. They were respectful, prompt, and tidy. The front and back took approx 7 weeks and the only delays were a few pots that were on backorder. Any issue that we encountered was promptly addressed without delay and without any feeling that we were a burdensome customer. We are beyond pleased with the experience and results. It's fantastic to hear from others in our neighborhood how great the yards look. We just had our landscaping done by New View and I am so happy I went with them because they did not disappoint. Mike came out to my house sometime back in July. I told him what I wanted, and he got to work on a design. I changed quite a few things throughout the course of 2 months until we got within our budget. His team was at my house for 4 days and in 4 days they transformed our backyard. Before, my kids had to put their shoes on to run around in all the rocks. The day they finished, they went outside barefoot and ran happily back and forth. Which was priceless and put a huge smile on our faces. Mike's team was very professional, very detailed and very clean. They made sure to clean up everything and leave it like it was when they arrived. New View Landscapes is great to work with. I recently had them out to spruce up my front and back yard. They did a great job adding new plants, rock, lighting and creating a cactus garden on the other side of my view fence. Several years ago I met Mike at a previous company. I had his crew redo all of landscape as it was old and over grown. They did a great job. I love his designs and how he was able to keep and move existing plants but add new smaller plants. This help to keep the cost down. I have also referred him to my clients and they are very pleased with his designs and work. read more
