Staff doesn't fully understand food allergies and seemed to have an attitude from the managers I saw to the greeters. We had dinner here last Sunday. It was very good. We ordered the calamari and a cup of lobster bisque to start. They came out really quick. The entree timing was definitely off though. We did wait a longer amount of time for our entrees. Minus the wait, the food was really good. I enjoyed the atmosphere and it didn't hurt that Tiger just made history earlier that day so everyone was in a great mood. *The one thing I would recommend is to double check OpenTable if you call and try to make a reservation and they tell you they're booked. My husband called for a reservation and they told us they were full for the night. He got on OpenTable and there were several reservations available and when we got to the restaurant, they weren't even close to being on a wait so we don't understand why the hosts lied to us when we called. read more

We were advised to try the Happy Hour at The Woods. It turned out to be a great time. Drinks were a good price price with our draft beers only $3. Our wife's had a real fun drink called Empress Gin and Tonic. It consisted of a blue gin that turned purple when mixed with the drink (see photo). Our waiter Grant was excellent and really guided us thru the whole ordering process. The choice of appetizers was wide. We ordered large shrimp at $3 a piece and they were huge. A great place for the sports minded with several televisions posted for viewing. The dining area adjacent the bar is very good and includes booths for the more privacy minded. I had two out of town guests for dinner and one guest explained of her work with young people. The waitress, very nice and thoughtful, returned with two golf related gift packages for children. It's dressed up to look "fancy," but under the skin, it's just not. The food is very bland. You can tell nothing is made to order. This is essentially a Duffy's pretending to be upscale. And honestly, you'd probably be better off at a Duffy's. Also, if you take a close look around, you'll see garbage and food on the floor, wallpaper peeling, chairs and booths falling apart that are held together with new upholstery instead of being replaced. No, I'm not exaggerating. Again, would be fine for a Duffy's, but not for a place where the staff tries to make it feel upscale. Skip it. Literally go next door to Tommy Bahama or Jupiter Grill depending on how much you're looking to spend, either will be better. read more

I will start by saying the food is excellent. Service, on the other hand is hardly worthy of one star which is how I arrived at a total rating of three stars. We had eaten our appetizer and 20 minutes after we were finished we had to flag down the waitress to take our main course order. Refills on water were also a challenge. The interior is very modern with clean lines and nice lighting. I understand charging over market prices for the food since the ambiance is part of the experience, but the service needs to match up with the quality of the food and the prices. We tried three sides which were all à la cart. The brussels sprouts and the mashed potatoes were to die for!! The macaroni and cheese wasn't that creamy, but the taste overall was still good. The skirt steak on my salad was tender and cooked to perfection. Unfortunately, for me, I will have to give this place another six months before I return to see if the wait staffing issue has been remedied. I refuse to pay top dollar for food if the service is going to be subpar. Service, in my opinion, is half of the experience. read more

Went to the Woods the other night on Sunday with my boyfriend and his family . We had a party of 8 . Let me start with the place is very nice inside classy I liked that but really that was it. Prices were pricy which isn't worth complaining about if the food was good . The food was so bland and tasteless . Service was awful way to slow fifteen minutes for a beer ? Once you get a beer order once it's put in front of you cause it's gonna take forever. Next my boyfriend was talking and a server came by and was starting to clear the table when he didn't even ask if my boyfriend was done with his food just took it still practically a full plate. I've eaten here a few times in years past but never again. I ordered the bone-in pork chop and it had zero seasoning on it. My friend ordered the churrasco and said the same thing. The ribs looked like they were boiled and had no flavor to them. Was able to secure reservations on a Friday night for 3. As the week went on our party increased by 2. Called all day Friday, but no answer. Went to restaurant around 2:00 and spoke with Carolyn, the manager. She apologized profusely and assured us the table we wanted in the bar would be waiting for us. In fact she said if we want to come for happy hour she would keep the table open for the rest of the day. We arrived at 6:10 and the table was occupied. The hostess said it would be a 30 minute wait for that table. Not wanting to wait we went to another table a room away from the bar. Turns out it was a better choice, but the five of us could not carry on a conversation. VERY noisy. The layout is definitely unconventional. Big bar as you walk in with a smaller side bar. Dining areas are kinda separate, but not really. Hostess said while all their food is good the steaks and chops were the most popular. After reviewing the menu I realized why she steered us to those. They were the priciest items on it and they are ala carte. I did order one of the house's specialty drinks, a strawberry and basil marguerita. It was ok, but I would expect a drink that costs $12.00 to be better than ok. I wouldn't get it again. Everything on the menu sounded good so it's hard to narrow down a choice. My friend got the appetizer of lamb lollipop chops. They were good, but over done. I got the burrata cheese, tomato and basil salad. Absolutely the best I've ever had! I should have stopped there, but no I ordered the prime ribeye with the truffles fries on the side. The steak was perfect, tender and tasty. Hubby got the ahi tuna entree. He said the tuna was definitely a high grade and he enjoyed it. I would give a 5 star rating, but service was slow. Our waiter, Jake, tried his best. He had to write all the orders down and it's a walk to both the bar and the kitchen. He had 4 tables and 2 of them sat 8 people. Our entrees were served at 8:10. I saw at least two tables of 4 sit after us, eat and leave. I feel it would help if the servers had digital devices for orders and if they worked as a team. I did say to Jake that it seemed our food was taking a long time and he replied, "I'm not doing the cooking". Wrong answer, Jake. Overall our experience was good. Try to find a slow night to go. Came to try their happy hour--must say next time I will return for dinner! Had their fried calamari, and from dinner menu decided to try their lobster bisque. The calamari was perfectly cooked, large rings of fresh squid, perfectly battered & seasoned with a nicely seasoned marinara sauce. The lobster bisque was perfectly balanced with a delicious Sheri served on the side to add to taste--needless to say I added it all! Tiger's signature cocktail, the Woods watermelon margarita had the perfect balance of tequila and watermelon flavors. The piña colada (not on the menu but bartender was happy to make) was as good as the one in my beautiful island of Puerto Rico! This restaurant definitely has a fun vibe. Many people waiting for tables but we had reserved on Open Table and were seated immediately. Our enthusiastic waitress was eager to take our drink order before we had a chance to look at the wine list, which she then had to retrieve. A few minutes after we ordered drinks, she took our food order and returned quickly with the drinks and appetizers. Not more than five minutes later our entrees arrived. We asked that they take them back to the kitchen and keep them warm because we hadn't even eaten half of our appetizers. No sooner had they taken them back to the kitchen than they arrived again, delivered by a different food runner. We were nearly finished with apps so we accepted them and they were not hot. The entire experience was rushed. Very rushed. At least the kitchen was keeping up but it was not a pleasant experience. Total time in the restaurant: 50 minutes, and that was with having apps, entrees, and dessert. This was not an inexpensive dinner and the entrees were totally tasteless. No flavor at all. We both ordered the short ribs with polenta. Mine looked like they'd scraped the bottom of the polenta pan. In hindsight, we should have sent them back. If you're a fan of Tiger's you may want to see his restaurant but maybe skip the food part and just enjoy the bar surrounded by TV's. The valet parking was poorly run and we waited about 20 minutes for our car while people behind us in the valet line received their cars before us. One and done for us at The Woods. read more

Probably one of the worst meals ever. Ordered 2 apps, only 1 arrived midway between the meal. Ordered soup, sat there for 10 minutes with no spoon, we asked multiple times for silverware. Beware they charge you $6 bucks for flat water. We did not get silverware until we asked the 6th time. The Margareta pizza was a kids meal, more like marinara pizza. No one finished their meals because they were disgusting. To think we spent several hundred dollars is truly a shame. Never again. Do not go there. We ended up getting appetizers and both were awful. Calamari came out cool and soggy. It tasted fishy. We complained and they brought out another one which was better but nothing exceptional. With respect to Tiger Woods, his eating and drinking place is just another celebrity theme restaurant, a trendy and popular notion across America created by consultants. What's disappointing is that The Woods could be really special but it is not. Entering The Woods, I had the funny notion that it resembled a dark version of BestBuy, only with more large hanging flat screen TVs than a typical BestBuy. Service is attentive and certainly reflects a teamwork approach. The Woods comes up short, in my view, with its menu. It's predictable and fairly dull... heavy emphasis on red meat. That's a bit odd because Jupiter is known for fresh seafood. There is NO fresh seafood on the menu, only previously frozen. I had the fillet which arrived dry, no juice or sauce or anything. I had asked for horseradish and the server suggested "horseradish encrusted." My fillet had a slathering of something that looked like mayonaise, not horseradish. The fillet was tender but flavorless. My guess is that the meat is not of superior quality because is reflects chemically treated beef, not free range or grass fed. read more
