I have used several different moving companies in my day and I was impressed with the service they provided. The two gentleman that helped with the move, did just that. They weren't talking/texting on their cell phones, they were actually working! We had them for a total of six hours to combine two houses and they didn't complain once, they were true professionals that got the job done. While moving some of the items, they had some scratches and dings to the house, the owner and staff we're understanding and accommodating and made right on their errors, in my eyes, that's all you can ask for. As far as words of constructive criticism, I would say they could improve on their organizational details. I had to discuss the details of the move several times, that is just me being picky. As well, they should have some additional tools or resources to prevent the nicks and dings, if they invested in those, it could have saved them some money during the move. Overall, I was satisfied and I will be sure to use them as a recommendation in the future. read more

I hired this moving company to help move us from a 3rd floor, 1 bedroom apartment into our new townhouse 5 miles north. I have never hired a moving company before, so this was a new experience for me! Jermaine and Nick called ahead to let us know that they would be arriving between 9 and 10am. They arrived within the stated time frame and were professional in appearance and behavior. The men handled our belongings with care, making sure that fragile items were wrapped in plastic and/or furniture padding. I was most concerned about our flat-screen TV, but I had no cause for concern as they moved it without complication. Although the total moving time was longer than estimated (4.5 hrs compared to the estimated 3hrs), I was very pleased with the service The Wright Move provided and would definitely use them again. read more

A friend referred me to Jermaine, the owner, as I needed to move from one three-bedroom house to another. On our first phone call, Jermaine worked within my schedule to set a date, talked to me about the kind and amount of furniture & appliances I needed to move, estimated the amount of hours and was upfront about all fees, which are unbelievable reasonable. He told me he'd call me the week of my move to confirm. Sure enough, Jermaine called like he said he would and we confirmed time and date once more. On the day of the move he called when he was on his way, and he arrived at my house exactly on time. He and his crew of two other guys could not have been more professional or efficient. They just dove right in, moving and packing up my stuff. They seemed to have a good system about how to load the truck, what furniture and appliances go where, etc. They never stopped - I never saw them stop for a break and they weren't even going to stop for lunch. They worked so hard. I also noticed they were really "smart" packers. Jermaine has been in the moving business since he was a teenager, so he's got the routine down and he's obviously trained his guys. The whole move took only about an hour longer than estimated, which I was fine with. They re-put together the beds in the new house, re-hooked up my TV and sterio, even, and placed the furniture where I asked them to. They had me check the truck before they left and had me check around the new house to make sure everything was accounted for. These guys were on-time, honest, efficient and affordable. I swear I think I saved about $400 using them instead of a 'famous' name mover. I hope I don't have to move anytime soon, but if I do, I will definately call Jermaine again. I used them again one year ago, and again, a super team. read more

I purchased this through a Living Social deal, and called Jermaine to set up my move in July. After discussing the size of our move, he recommended we have 3 movers instead of the 2, so we agreed that 3 movers and a 26 foot moving truck would be at our house that Friday morning around 8. I got a call from the guys at 8:30 saying that they were waiting on the last guy and would be there shortly. I got another call at 10 saying that they were on their way, but the 3rd guy hadn't shown up for work so it would only be 2 of them. They showed up at 10:30 with 2 guys and a much smaller truck than had been promised (I guess their regular truck had broken down and this was the only truck available from the rental place). They also informed me that they had another appointment at 1:30 so they would not be able to finish my move. I had to be out that day as my lease was up the following day. I asked why it was so important they be punctual for their next appointment when it was obviously not so important for my move? I called Jermaine and he said he would see what he could do, which turned out to be not returning my phone call, or answering when I called him (he was on vacation at the time and apparently couldn't be bothered with my problems). Unfortunately I had to be out that day, or I would have arranged for another, more professional company to take care of my move. Instead we got everything we could fit in one truck, and I had to scramble to call any friends with trucks to come help out, which is exactly what I was trying to avoid by hiring a moving service! The only reason I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because the 2 gentlemen who came to perform the move, were quick, efficient and very hard working. read more

Wright Move staff moved my stuff from a storage unit in Denver to a condo in Denver. In moving a mattress, they broke a light fixture in the condo hallway ceiling. Owner Jermaine agreed to find and pay for the fixture. He delayed in finding the lamp, so I found it online via vendors like Lamps Plus and Urban Lighting for $32. I gave him the info on how to get the fixture. He never acted on that and started ignoring my calls on the status of getting/paying for the fixture. I never heard from him and am having to buy and install the fixture myself. This firm is dishonest and lacking in integrity. read more

I really enjoyed working with these guys when I moved from Cap Hill to Wash Park a few months back. They were very very careful with my stuff (much more careful than I would have been!) but I would not call them quick. As it turns out, being uber careful takes an uber long time. I expected the move to take 2-3 hours, and it took close to 5. By the end of it, I felt like I was pushing the guys out the door! Not to complain too much - everyone was incredibly nice and accommodating. Not sure I would use them again unless they promise to pick up the speed! read more

... 3rd time in the last 6 months that we've used The Wright Move. These guys are PROVEN WINNERS. They were quick, polite, in good spirits, and most importantly, they really got the job done 'wright' (all puns intended)! I can't say enough about The Wright Move, I will be going out of my way to recommend these guys. They emptied my rental house, then my storage unit that contained our very heavy/gawky hot tub. Getting the hot tub onto the moving van in Seattle was horrible to watch ... The Wright Move made it look fairly easy and straight forward. They got it out of the storage unit, and onto the truck easy pleasy chicken greasy ... then OFF the truck and onto my deck in no time at all. I can't tell you how much my wife and I have been looking forward to putting down roots in Denver now that we bought our house, plugging in the hot tub and sitting in it that night was SWEET!! 18 months worth of planning, finally came together ... The Wright Move was awesome! They moved us from Littleton to Conifer and were a pleasure to work with. Jermaine Wright was very professional and had a great crew of strong guys. All of my wood furniture was shrink wrapped and mirrors and pictures were protected well. I didn't have a single broken item and all was moved in 1 trip! I would recommend them anytime and hopefully wont be moving again anytime soon, but if we do they'll be our go to guys! read more

I hired the Wright Move to load up my storage pod. 3 guys came in (including the Owner) and got the job done fast. The fit a lot of stuff in a small space, they did it carefully and professionally. The wrapped everything which I appreciated and they strategically packed my storage pod. If I was staying in Denver I would hire them to unload the pod as well. I highly recommend them. read more

These guys were awesome! I've used two other moving companies in the past two years, and these guys were by far the best. They told me that they would be at my house between 9 and 10 a.m., so of course I figured based off previous experiences that they would be there at 10, the latest point of time. They got to my house at exactly 9:00! They were extremely quick, careful, and meticulous about my stuff and stayed right at the two hour minimum. They also were a lot cheaper than other moving companies I've used. I was very impressed and I would definitely use them again. read more

I recently used this company, and was very disappointed. They showed up late, with and extra person, and a smaller truck than contracted. Then they overcharged me for the extra person, and the owner denied what we had agree upon in our original conversation, and accused me of "trying to cheat him". He was extremely rude. I even called him the day before to confirm they were coming. The owner answered (while driving), and didn't even know who I was or what we had previously agreed upon. He also refused to honor the 10% discount or the rates that are clearly posted on their website. They couldn't fit everything in one trip (because they brought a smaller truck that what I had agreed/paid for), and some property was damaged in the process. When I asked the owner about resolving the damage, he said that they were not responsible and that we should "just use water and pine sol and clean it ourselves". The only saving grace was that the movers who did the actual work were very polite, nice and easy to work with. I would not recommend this company and would not use them again. If you do use these guys, get a copy of the contract in advance and make sure it is correct! read more

DO NOT use The Right Move for any of your moving needs! We hired The Right Move to load our trailer for a cross country move this past June. During the mere three hours it took to empty our house, they caused a lot of damage in our home, wasted space on the trailer that we paid for by the linear foot, caused us to leave some of our belongings behind, and they loaded the trailer in such an unsafe and unprofessional manner, that nearly every item of furniture we own was destroyed or damaged in some way. They broke wooden storm shutters in the house, gashed several holes in the wooden stairwell, left scratches on the walls, stained the carpets, urinated on the bathroom floor and broke the valve to the washing machine, causing it to leak on the floor. When the trailer was opened for unloading the owner of the company who unloaded us indicated his belief that the loaders were angry and loaded the trailer in the manner they did on purpose. Investigation of the trailer contents revealed upon opening that they didn't use any rope that we provided, they only used 6 blankets total, 5 of which were towels and other items provided by us and only 2 items of furniture were even shrink-wrapped. The amount of damage caused was extensive and judging by the photographs taken, appears to be intentional. Jermaine Wright is the company's owner and he refuses to acknowledge any responsibility and take any responsibility. read more

Very unprofessional, slow and inefficient movers who showed up without any tools, pads or a dolly. Took them twice as long to load half as much stuff as a previous moving company we had used earlier in the day. Several items were damaged including a brand new kid's desk I had just bought and had never been used. They had stacked boxes on top of it without anything in between scratching the white painted surface. I pointed out their error when I saw them pulling boxes off of it during the unload and they didn't say anything to me. My husband's inversion table surface/padding was punctured and permanently indented. They also left grease marks on our carpeted stairs where our dolly was dragged up and down them. The movers we had used earlier had padding they placed on our stairs and floors to protect them. I've placed a call to the company and will update this post if they reimburse us for the damage. We are still unpacking, so there may be more we haven't discovered yet. read more

I rented the 26' Penske truck while Elite Movers subcontracted The Wright Move for labor. My wife and I packed and wrapped furniture in advance. The Wright Move owner Jermaine and his two crew members called ahead, arrived on-time, were cheerful and worked briskly while taking great care of our items. Six months ago we used Simple Moving Labor to load in NJ and unload in Denver. I would recommend Elite Movers/The Wright Move. read more

I hired the 'wright move' to get a refrigerator from one house to another. When my fridge arrived there was a huge scratch/dent on one door. The wright move damaged my fridge and refuses to do anything about it. They refuse fix my fridge, and won't return my money. This was a terrible experience and I'm going to have to sue them to get my money back for my fridge, and the move itself. A beautiful $2000 stainless fridge is now scrap. read more

I just moved from Littleton to Tulsa. The way the furniture was packed, almost every piece of furniture I own was damaged. The boxed were stacked so that they crumbled on top of each other and fell over. The furniture all has scratches and dents and marks from rubbing together and against the side of the truck. I will get not reimbursement for this because I used Moving Staffers and they only cover damage done while the movers are touching the items. I never write review, but this in my only recourse. I want to help others not get their furniture ruined. read more

the movers showed up right at arrival time and sat in the truck for a few minutes. the movers took their sweet time so that they could milk the clock. even though i was on the 3rd floor my fiance and his friend had to help bring down big items to try to speed them along. one worker took several smoke breaks. after calling the owner and asking him to speed them up and reminding him of the 2 hour time frame.... he just vouched for his workers because it was a 3rd floor apartment. owner then promised to remove my tv (which did not happen, my fiance and his friend removed it). he then was supposed to come the next day at 6 to install my tv and he was a no show, no call to reschedule. i know several people and businesses in need of movers within the next 3 months....this company will definately not be a referral!!!!!! even though the owner jermaine tried to make things sound promising and he tried to accomidate a 4pm move, this company was not at all what i expected with a rental uhaul. if you have friends willing to help... rent your own uhaul...you will probably save $200 and time out of your life moving. read more
