We sat outside for a nice glass of wine. The view is remarkable as the hotel is decorated for Christmas. Outdoor heaters and two firepits with plenty of tables or couches. Relaxing and just what we needed after a long day of shopping and site seeing. Wine selection is decent and the variety of nuts was complementary. Do mind the birds as they will join you at the table if you don't brush them away. Service was very good and didn't engage but would be there with a nod.

Indulge yourself. Go ahead, carve out an hour or two of your precious time for a happy hour retreat that will not only recharge your body and mind, but also invigoration your palate with refreshing libations and culinary mastery! Centrally located within minutes from any destination is The Wright Bar. This neighborhood gem is one of the many sparkling highlights awaiting to delight your visit to the historic Arizona Biltmore. The Wright Bar is not a sprawling, nor congested mega-lounge. It's a gentle retreat, thoughtfully tucked away just off the main east wing of the lobby main concourse. Only a dozen chairs provide at-bar seating, with an array of comfortable over-stuffed petite lounge sofas and chairs, for more intimate cocktail and tasty-bites enjoyment. The Wright Bar is the perfect perch to people watch, celebrity stargaze, or even more tantalizing, to just pretend that you are an "A" list who's-who incognito to paparazzi wannabes! It's also the perfect seat to peer at some of the resent $70 million dollar Arizona Biltmore renovations. The staff is friendly, inviting and incredibly knowledgeable in suggesting the perfect refreshment and selections from the delicious happy hour bar menu that are certain to delight! My favorites are the Spanish Meats and Cheeses Charcuterie Board with Grilled Baguette, and the Smoked Salmon Tostada. For the Arizona locals, no longer must a "Stay-cation" be an entire week, or even a weekend. Why not try a mini "Stay-cation" at The Wright Bar Today?

THE place where the world famous beverage "tequila sunrise" was invented. Cozy and comfortable on a Thursday night for a cocktail before dinner.

Wright Bar has an amazing relaxed feel to it's decor and it immediately invites you in. Stopped by as we have friends in town staying at the resort. It was a Weekend day but they were not busy at least inside. We were the only table at the time with two people at the bar. We took a table inside and waited and waited but we think we had a concrete pillar blocking the one server from seeing our table. We got up and relocated to a more visible location. The service while very friendly was SLOW! Slow to get a server slow to get our drinks slow to get our food, slow to get our bill. Drinks while expensive are tasty, The Wright Way martini is my favorite, cranberry, triple sec and "bubbles" very refreshing, friends had the tequila sunrise (I had already had it there) my partner had the Rusty Nail since he is a fan of whiskey. They bring a trio of small plates to nibble on, pistachios, cashews and something else I forgot, all were relatively tasteless but hey you can't argue with free. Fried Brussels sprouts were tasty with a good aioli sauce (I ate most of them as I think I am the only person I know who loves Brussels sprouts) toast with goat cheese, olives and mustard was okay. Not a bad experience I guess everyone there is just in a laid back vacation mood including the staff. I just hate slow service when a place isn't busy.

This is an intimate bar nestled inside the lovely Arizona Biltmore Hotel. I came here with a group of friends to enjoy a drink for my girlfriend's birthday. We were told that this is the bar where Angela Bassett and Wesley Snipes shared an intimate bar conversation and Lord knows what else. Three drinks cost us $47 Before tip.

the total Ambiance of the Wright bar is are stucking! granite counter top around..plush bar stools..this is the lap of luxury! I had 2x Barrel Aged Bourbon Block drinks... all I can say is this bar mixture and libation is something out of a chemist how to manual to bartend! My bartender says her boss mixes this concoction and only tells the high points of this drink. Is wonderful yet powerful blend that's easy on the palate and a great evening starter...A+++

Wow. All I can is what a restaurant! Came here on a Wednesday night 3 weeks before Christmas and…read moreit was a vibe. Secluded upstairs dining area with heaters available. Excellent service, a Christmas tree upstairs, and no reservations required. Glad they were able to seat us considering we showed up without reservations. Downstairs gets quickly reserved so seats upstairs are where they push overflow patrons. Right outside Flint's doors downstairs there is a staircase which opens up to the upstairs dining area. Service was prompt, and we got our drinks by the time we had our mains decided. I got a glass of red to pair with my steak. My partner had a refreshing cocktail, but it was decent. The highlights of the night were the food. SO MUCH FOOD! And it was TERRIFIC! For starters we got the artichoke hummus. It sounded a bit weird, but all it was was regular hummus with 4 artichoke hearts that were crispy. The artichoke hearts were crisp, but moist, and I could have kept eating those all day. It comes with 1 pita bread. The server told us to order another and we did, turns out we needed it as the pita breads were quite small ($3 +). Sure only 3 bucks, but nickel and dime if you are spending $14 on an app... For mains I got the filet medium rare with a side of regular potatoes. My partner got the salmon skewer with a side of asparagus. Both the dishes were cooked perfectly and they were familiar dishes with a slightly exotic touch to it. Must be the middle eastern part of the restaurant. The steak came with a ganache or accompaniments of middle eastern sides. Can't recall what they were but they were great when I dipped my potatoes in them. It was sour, tart, acidic, kind of like middle eastern soy sauce. The server recommended it to us and we got it. The salmon skewer came with 5 decent sized pieces on it. Great for a small eater or someone who doesn't want their own meal. It too was delicious and had light touches of sauce or smoke on it. The asparagus is a favorite. It was cooked as usual, typical steak side and both me and my partner enjoyed it! For dessert, as it was my partners birthday the server comped the pound cake. While it was delicious, it was definitely the letdown of the meal. It was way too sweet including the layer of cream that it was doused with. The sweat cream wasn't necessary as the pound cake was incredibly sweet itself. Also, the pound cake wasn't soft like normal cake. It was quite dry once you peeled away the creme layer up top. I definitely should have gone with the Chocolate Ganache Tart. But their mess up worked in their favor. I'm definitely coming back for another meal at Flint!

We were seated promptly and ordered some drinks to start including wine, sangria and mocktails. Everyone enjoyed their drinks! We also started with a couple of appetizers for the table including burrata and crispy tuna rice bites. For entrees, we went with a variety of items at the table. My friend Arlene and I split the salmon and asked for extra veggies. Other friends enjoyed the Cobb Salad, Grilled Cheese and french fries, and fish tacos. We were pretty full after that but decided to share the Chocolate Chip cookie for dessert and it was a perfect sweet ending. Hearsay definitely caters to the Happy Hour / after work crew. But, if you're looking for a really cool bar, KWSC is for you. I stopped by on a week day evening around 8:30 p.m. Located in Roosevelt Row, while there isn't parking, I found free parking on the street a few minutes away on foot. Ambiance (4.5/5): My type of spot. Dimly lit with a speakeasy vibe. There are eight or so seats at the bar, and the rest of your seating options consist of comfortable chairs and sofas. You'll see a lot of photos of people's bums on the walls lol. This is indeed part of the appeal. For free, if you would like, they will take a polaroid of your butt and memorialize you eternally on the walls. While I didn't do that, if that's up your alley, go for it. Service (2/5): This is the main area of improvement. After being seated, I was greeted promptly and got my first cocktail promptly. From there, things fell apart. I had to grab the bartender's attention to order my second drink and to close out. It was a week day and they weren't busy. And there were two bartenders. A lack of attentiveness. When I closed out, I noticed that the cocktails were both $2 more expensive than what was listed on the menu. When I inquired, I was told that the menus were outdated... umm what? If you're not going to re-print your menus, give people a heads-up when they arrive. I understand that most people won't notice, but this is deception. Food (N/A): I was on a liquid diet. If you're trying to eat here, all they have is snacks. The menu doesn't specify but I'm thinking it's probably chips or somethign like that. Drinks (4/5): A lengthy, and interesting, cocktail list. Similar to a speakeasy, you're going to see creativity and an interesting blend of flavors here. The most popular drink is Fuck Nazis. We're seeing a theme here. KWSC is an interesting spot. For various dollar amounts, you can get funny things outside of the polaroids of your bum. My first cocktail was great. My second one, a tiki drink, not so much. The menu said that there would be some flame action happening. It didn't. Just another example of the service falling short. If the service were better, Killer Whale Sex Club would easily be a five-star experience.

The atmosphere was unique, the bartenders were genuinely engaging, and there was a real sense of community that made every visit memorable. It became my go-to spot to bring friends from out of town and every single person I brought absolutely loved it! Back then, the cocktails felt intentional and creative, not just rushed out for volume. The staff remembered regulars, conversations flowed naturally, and the whole place had this warm, eclectic energy that made you want to stay for hours. Even on busy nights, it somehow still felt personal. Unfortunately, over the last couple of years, the vibe has changed quite a bit. The drinks just aren't as consistently good as they used to be, especially considering the prices now. Service feels far more transactional and impersonal, and the atmosphere that once made this place stand out has faded into something much more generic. It feels less like a neighborhood gem and more like a stop on a nightlife circuit.
