    Happy hour

If you're looking for live music on a Tuesday night, this hidden gem is the place to be! Happy hour ends around 7 and the band comes on around 8 PM. It's very intimate, cute for a date night or girls night. I got the bees knee, I'm a gin girl and the bartender even added a peach syrup that was to die for! We tried the truffle mushroom focaccia bread and it was absolutely delicious. I wish they had a marinara sauce, but they do have ranch and bbq. I will definitely be back and they play jazzy music most nights if the week. You can tell this is a local secret because it wasn't over crowded but every one came to hear the band. Flute, trombone, keys, guitar. Such a fun experience

Just 7 friends living it up on a Friday evening during happy hour (Tuesday-Friday 4-7p) after work! There was live music on top of the incredible ambiance of the place and us having a good time with each other. Our server, bless her heart, had to deal with our tomfoolery... again, always an amazing time at the Womack!

Friday night happy hour visit. Limited amount of booths and a decent amount of bar seats. Outdoor patio seating as well. Drinks were good, as well as the pretzels. The bartender was a little slow. Live music in the corner. Low lighting with adequate lamps throughout to assist in viewing menu.

Stopped in for drinks with Hubs and had a great time. We had drinks and listened to the live performer for a few. It was a Friday night so they were pretty busy. We found seating at the bar and had a great time. Our drinks were really good!

The service was very nonchalant... we went for a drink on a Wednesday around 7pm and they were not busy whatsoever but once they take our drink order they come back with a glass full of ice and less than half of the cocktail I asked for and tbh it tasted like they forgot the alcohol. Idk that I'd go back.

The people make it fun, but the bartenders are so mean. Music could be better, I've seen a few djs now, could be better.

My partner and I RSVP'd for a Thursday 7:30pm flight from NYC to Tokyo. Per our email, we were instructed to arrive about 15 minutes early to pick up our flight tickets from the downtown restaurant Wren & Wolf. Spoiler alert: Carry On is a speakeasy attached to the back of the restaurant. After picking up your ticket, you walk around the corner to the large orange "plane" door, which opened punctually at 7:30pm to start our experience. We gave our flight attendants (the staff was indeed wearing flight attendant uniforms) our tickets at the front desk, and were given free Carry On pins before being escorted to our table. Despite being a Thursday evening There were overhead announcements and even windows playing animations emulating a real flight experience from take-off to landing! The interior is gorgeous, from the furnishings to the lighting. Craftily, there are many mirrors inside to create the illusion of a larger space. The menu emulated an in-flight menu, with food and drinks based on the trip's theme! We ordered an additional drink each and an onion dip that were all creatively crafted and delicious! All in all, Carry On is the perfect date night or girl's night experience. While it might not be in most people's price range for a casual night out, it is definitely worth trying for a special occasion if possible. I would love to go back and am looking forward to the next destination's theme!

They host different themed events on the weekends, and there's usually no cover unless it's a special event. The vibe is laid-back with a retro dive bar feel, and I've noticed a mix of different types of people there, all seeming to have a good time. The back patio often turns into a dance floor when there's a DJ or music playing. Inside, the space leans heavily into the retro theme. There are a few arcade games, a retro-style phone booth, and a living room area that looks like something straight out of the 70s, which adds to the nostalgic atmosphere. Ordering drinks can be a bit hit or miss. The bar inside can get a long line, and there isn't waitstaff walking around taking drink orders. There is a small window connected to the bar where you can place drink orders, almost like an ordering window, which sometimes works better than waiting at the main bar. Parking can also be a bit of a challenge. There is parking in front of the establishment and in the same shopping center, and you can also park across the street. Just be aware that towing can happen in some areas, so it's worth paying attention to the signs.
