    Pretzel and beer cheese

There is nothing spectacular about this place. The food is overpriced, the music is loud and annoying (and not German at all) and everything is on cheap paper and plastic products. The beer is decently priced and the food was not bad, but it is nothing to write home about.

A little pricey, but my lemon drop was tasty, and my husband enjoyed his warsteiner beer, even though they didn't have the hefeweizen he wanted. No food except for a hot dog, and music wasn't great.

My boyfriend and I were in Helen and decided to stop here for lunch to enjoy the sunny day. The pretzel was big and the beer cheese was solid. The we also split the 2 sausage plate and it was plenty of food for the both of us. There is a ton of outdoor seating surrounded by German-themed buildings. Overall, pretty solid and one of the more reasonably priced places around.

Price showing 32 oz. Drink was cheaper than 2 16 oz. Drinks.

Came here for Octoberfest. Wanted the 32 oz with mug and they gave us 2 16oz Warsteiner beers and wouldn't give us the mug. Wanted to charge us $5.00 for the mug which equals $17.50 instead of the price for a 32 oz beer with mug which was $12.15. We paid $12.50 for 2-16oz beers that equaled 32 ounces and they wanted us to pay an additional $5.00 for the mug which is more than the listed price on the sign. That would have made the beers $17.50 with the souvenir mug instead of the posted price of $12.15. So disappointed in my first visit to Octoberfest. Bartenders were not customer friendly.

This place is a joke. The service is bad with no sense of urgency from the staff. Spend your money elsewhere.

This was close to our rooms and not normally what we seek out in Helen, but I'm glad we stopped. Spacious. Lots o' wood. Good selection of beers. Full, but didn't feel packed. Typical American fare with a tasty flair.

It was a Tuesday night, which turned out to be wing night with wings that were a reasonable price. I also went for the fish and chips, which were fair. The wings were quite tasty, and they have a decent variety of sauce flavors to choose from which is a good thing. I also went for the street corn, which was excellent. We were sitting out on the porch, and the weather was good. Noise was kept to a minimum so we were able to talk without having to shout, which I consider to always be a good thing. The food was good, our wait staff were decent, and we were very happy with our experience. If we are in the area again, we would certainly return.
