I was told some Germans thought their version of an Oktoberfest was good, but not in my opinion (although I am not German, I do drink a lot of German beer). The Mom-in-Law really liked the Irish red ale (which the beertender admitted was more of a scotch ale). The Lanier Lager and the stout were probably the best of the bunch. I think the beer is still good enough to come hang out and check out Fergus and Hamish, the cows.

Found parking right in front on the square & there is also a little bit of parking in the back. Even at 2 pm this old timey establishment on the square in Cleveland had many tables occupied. We were pleased with our selections, particularly the Smokey Burger with its generous slice of bbq brisket that we requested 'on the side'. Brisket was tender & properly smoked & the lean burger meat was fresh not a frozen patty. Clyde's has a small & welcoming bar area facing the front dining room. They have several beers on tap & serve hard spirits as well. My friend, who ordered the fried chicken tenders enjoyed her meal. Clyde's has a front & back dining area & they schedule live music on weekends. You can't go wrong for a casual unhurried lunch at Clyde's.

Do yourself a favor and get a pint, or a growler ;). We ended up getting a growler of the Sandy Strawberry because the honey wheat kicked while we were there, but we still enjoyed that one too.

It was incredibly nice to have a solid selection of beer and to be able to watch all of the relevant college football games. Now, it's not a particularly big spot, which adds to the charm in my opinion. And they don't have their own bathroom. You have to walk a bit. But none of these are even remotely deal breakers. My two complaints are that it got pretty cold in their glass windowed area- they had a small heater but it wasn't doing much, and they don't give free cups of water here. I'd recommend adding larger heaters and getting a couple of them, considering how cold it can get in North GA in the winter. I'd also recommend giving free water instead of requiring that people buy bottled water. If you were in the Atlanta area, not offering free water would be a code violation. Not sure if that applies here but just to be courteous to your customers you should be doing that. Back to the positives... I ordered a coffee based frappe with the "glamping" flavor (white chocolate and marshmallow) and I thought it was amazing. 10/10. I would definitely order it again. My order came out in a decent amount of time and the employees were friendly. The prices were reasonable and we found parking easily. I would happily come here again! I think there could be a couple improvements (the water issue is why I deducted a star) but if they address those few things then I'd think the place is a 5/5 :) I would come back!
