There are two locations, but I find this particular location more appealing. Located right off of Talley Rd, don't miss it! Plenty of parking. There's a a bar and small dining area inside, but outdoors in the back is where you want to be. A small stage area to the left (I imagine they have entertainment there on the weekends), a small playground area for the kiddos, and plenty of wooden table seating. We arrived right around happy hour and drinks were pretty decent. I enjoyed my hard cider. Menu consisted of typical bar food- apps, burgers, flat bread pizzas, and hot dogs. Ordered a burger with fries- fries were good, but burger without cheese was super bland and dry. Bun was slightly burned and the burger itself needed some kind of sauce! We had never been here before and decided to give it a try after we saw a lot of great reviews about it. The place is a small local bar style restaurant and when we told them it was our first time they explained that we could look over the menu, order at the bar, and then get a buzzer and where to pick it up when it was ready. The place was packed but we got our food very quickly and it was delicious!! The fries were crispy and seasoned and the carnita grilled cheese had a LOT of meat and was a pleasant surprise. The cheeseburger was simple and delicious as well and the bacon was crispy and flavorful. This place is a hidden gem that's apparently very popular amongst the locals and I can see why. This place is laid-back with plenty of inside and outside seating. You can order inside versus outside. The outside patio is dog friendly. It is also kid friendly with a sandbox and an area for them to play. They have daily specials for food and drinks. The food is going to be bar type food. They' have hamburgers, chips and queso, and flatbread. I will have to admit that I would not come here for the food again, but just for the ambience. You can come have a few drinks with your girlfriends and not break the bank. The good thing is that if you do want to snack on something, prices are super reasonable. I had the cheese flatbread and the chips and queso. The chips were good, but the queso was cold and clumpy. The queso did have good flavor. The fat bread was meh. It was just cheese on bread. I added red pepper flakes to give it a little flavor. My friend had a burger and fries and she did say that it was good. She said she would get it again, especially when it's on sale on Tuesdays. I had a margarita, but I switched to a different drink because I wasn't fond of the lemonade taste to it. The sangria wad good. It is in their happy hour menu. The bartenders/order takers were very nice and helpful. The food was great! My friends and I really liked it and would go again, for sure! My dog loved his Pup Plate with burger and pup cup. It was smaller than I expected. Because it was literally a converted house and yard! Parking is a little disorganized and somewhat marked; it's up front and in the lot next door. There are tables in several rooms in the house and the bar is in what used to be the living room. Had a very nice experience there. Lots of open seating and great service. The smash burger was cooked very well. The wings were some of the best I've had in the area. A little pricey for only 6 but the quality is there! The crawfish were okay. Not how I make them but they did the job. I'm also very biased about crawfish so take my opinion with a grain of salt. Walked in and loved the new layout of the place! We had been to the last 2 businesses, and The Yard had made it very inviting! We decided to sit at the bar and were greeted right away. The bartender took our drink orders and had them to us within 2 minutes! We then ordered some chips & queso with Chorizo, and I swear as soon as he entered the order the food was delivered! Oh, the chips & queso with Chorizo was awesome! Cheesy, meaty, and greasy just my style! We ordered our entrees and again within a few minutes we had our food hot, fresh and tasty! My wife ordered the Honey chili wings, and they were a bit sweet for her as she was hoping for more chili than honey, but the wings were hot crispy and delicious!! I ordered the cheeseburger with bacon, and it was one of the best burgers I've had in a long time! perfectly cooked great toppings and condiments and well seasoned patties! I then gave into the campfire Old Fashioned (I don't like sweet Old Fashioned drinks) but this was was great it was very strong and has nice flavors, but I did not eat the marshmallow!! I really felt obligated to write a review. At arrival my son and I ordered at the bar as instructed by signs everywhere when you walk in. We ordered a drink, order food sat down, sat outside, picked up our order when the beeper went off. I went to the bar after to order another drink. I was told asked if I seated or started my order at the bar and I said no so they asked me to stand in the line with other people who are ordering food and drinks, which didn't make sense. The line just kept getting longer and longer. Only One person siting at the bar. The bar tender decides to start taking orders from people in the line LOL. I just left. Came by on the weekend for a family of 5 and we sat outdoors. The frozen mango margarita was very good. Our teenage boys ordered the pepperoni pizza but to them it was ok, nothing they would come back and crave. We ordered lemon pepper & honey BBQ wings, personally my favorite meal. Pepperoni flatbread: Tasted like a heated up frozen pizza Lemon Pepper bone-in wings: EXTREMELY salty! Boneless wings: The quality of the chicken was good, very tender, but the lemon pepper flavor was slightly over salted Chocolate chip cookie: pretty decent size, however, they were hard and crunchy as a rock. Taste of the cookie was subpar. Too hard, overly crispy and half burnt. And these were the "fresh baked ones " The customer service was good, But the food won't bring me back. But that's okay, we're all a bit confused with the similar names. This is a bit classier of a dive ish bar, but be warned. Why is an old fashion cheaper the a shot of whiskey? Seriously $12 for a shot..... ouch in my wallet pocket. And they do charge for everything.... Almost the air too, which fun fact the backyard is also where the good old septic tank is, and you will smell it every once in a while. And not to get too much in the negative, since it's still a new place fleshing themselves out a bit. Dog friendly, they also have a sandbox for your kiddos.... Not for 35 yo man child's to build an epic sand castle... I mean you can but the other patrons will look at you with that half concerned smile..... Wish I tried the grub, I've been told the flat bread during lunch is spot on with a cupola the old groggy munch munch Cheerio.
