Floutas, breakfast sandwich, hibiscus sparkler, cappuccino, empanadas, & chilaquiles

Really enjoyed our brunch at the new Box St. All Day at The Portico! So glad they take reservations too! Everything was great, although the noise level in the back room was a little much and made conversation difficult. We started with the potato flautas and black bean & cheese empanadas, both delicious. I had the breakfast sandwich with chicken sausage, a hibiscus sparkler and cappuccino, while everyone else tried the chilaquiles and Bacon Jam Boy. Everything was SO good! Service was great too, friendly, attentive and checked on us often. Our only issue was the acoustics in the back room. It was full and LOUD, which made conversation pretty difficult. Hopefully they're able to add some sound absorption because otherwise everything was fantastic! Next time we'll probably try the bar or front room.

We were in the area so decided to stop for a late brunch/lunch. Overall we liked the experience but it's definitely for a younger hipster crowd. However.... Food: 4/5 - wife got the Caesar salad (chicken), I opted for the club sandwich and our friend got the fish tacos. Interesting take on a club, salad was solid and tacos good but a challenge to enjoy without a huge mess. Service: 3/5 - nothing to complain about but nothing that stood out? Ambience: 4/5 - we liked the bright clean interior and the overall vibe. Would go back in a few months perhaps?

I was super excited to hear that they were opening this location near my home. I love their aesthetics, their food and their friendly workers. We went for happy hour, which is from 2 to 4. They have great deals on their happy hour menu. I had the fries to start with. I especially enjoy their margarita because they don't use a mixer and all their ingredients are fresh. For my main meal I had the breakfast sandwich. You could add another protein if you'd like, but I got mine as is. It was big enough to fill me up and had great flavor. My friends got the chicken Club and the hot fried chicken sandwich The chicken club was the winner between both, but they said both were also very good. The hot chicken sandwich was spicy. Parking is available on site, but shared with the other businesses.

Breakfast sandwich with sweet bacon jam, thick hash browns, scrambled eggs, and provolone or Swiss cheese. Very yummy.

If you're headed there on the weekend, get ready for a 40-60 min wait. We waited 45 minutes. The food was good. Not sure I'd go again, it was just too busy, and a bit expensive for what we got. Again it was so very loud and barely any room to move with the chairs and tables so close together. Very cute aesthetic wise. We ordered 2 pancakes, a sandwich, a burrito, a Mexican coke and a plain coffee and it was over $70 to include tip.

Make reservations or be ready to wait! This is a fun brunch place but it's very popular. I loved how many options they had for brunch. Everything sounded so good. I ended up getting the chilaquiles, they were good but I wish they put two eggs instead of one. They waiter was so nice! Great service.

Box St. All Day was a nice spot for brunch. We had reservations and were seated quickly. For a weekday morning, the restaurant was pretty packed so I recommend making reservations. The ambiance is light and airy with pink tones, and a hip-hop theme throughout. I loved the 'To all the ladies in the place with style and grace' mural, and the 'It's all good, baby baby' quote on the drinking glasses. There are lots of breakfast, lunch, coffee and cocktail options on the menu, which made deciding what to order a little difficult :) Our server, Richard, was great. When we mentioned that someone in our party was celebrating a birthday, he brought over a sprinkled doughnut with a candle, which was a nice surprise and much appreciated!

We made a reservation yesterday and visited around noon for a nice anniversary brunch. Our waiter was super friendly, attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The food came out quickly, and everything we ordered was delicious. We've been to the La Cantera location several times, and I would say this new location is just as good! Great service, beautiful space, great food, and an overall wonderful experience. We'll definitely be back!

My mom, sister and I had an amazing brunch at Box St All Day! After enjoying some coffee, we ordered the Eggs Benny, the Fried Chicken Sandwich, and the Smoked Gouda Pasta Salad with Smoked Salmon. The aesthetics and decorations of the restaraunt were so vibrant and pretty and we never had an issue with our waiter who always made sure I had my coffee cup filled and that we had fresh water. I ordered the Eggs Benny which had perfectly poached and runny eggs with a delicious rich and creamy hollandaise. However, I was disappointed with the size of the English muffin given the price and the bacon I had added on the side was way too overcooked making it hard and dry. Other than that, the hash browns were perfectly crisp and the salad was so fresh and tasty! My mom and sister absolutely loved the meals they ordered and after trying a few bites, they were great but the size of the chicken sandwich is a bit small for its price. All in all, we had a great time and I can't wait to come back!

I was so excited to try the new location for Box St All Day and I was not disappointed. The restaurant is decorated with the same decor as the other two locations and for being relatively new, I was very impressed with how well staffed they were. My service, food quality, and experience were all equivalent to the other 2 established Box St. restaurant locations that I have frequented. We went for brunch on a busy weekend, but had reservations and they seated us timely. I had the eggs Benedict. It was paired with a delicious side of crispy hashbrowns and field greens with a vinaigrette dressing. It's nice to have some healthy sides to pair with my less than healthy meal choices. I had an Americano coffee, I love their coffee choices for times when I'm not doing a brunch cocktail. (They are delicious as well). Overall, this was a great experience and I am so excited to have a location so close to my home. I think I found my new go to brunch spot.

Made a reservation for 9am and it was packed by 9:30. I couldn't hear anyone at the table because it was so loud with people talking. There was music playing, but it's so loud with people talking that you can't tell what's playing. Service was pretty good until the end, where it took a long time to get to go boxes and free ourselves from the chaos. The food was good all around. Kids meals are $8 and don't include a drink, just fyi. It was $60 before tip for me and my daughter - no alcohol. I will not be back. It was just stressful and overstimulating for me.

Great place for brunch, very social, and well lit. The food was different and delicious, grab a mimosa.

    Scramble bowl

Service and food is absolutely amazing. I always went to the la cantera location, but happy they opened a location nearby. I love the aesthetic of the restaurant. The Ube latte and and the scramble bowl is my go to, to order.

We had a wonderful, quiet meal with a beautiful view of the terraces. Sensational summer peach salad, hot chicken sandwich hit the spot, and adored the beef with fig jam flatbread. Literally the worst service I have EVER received in a restaurant. The waitress walked by our table more than once without asking if we needed refills on drinks or to take my sister's order when she joined us after we had been seated. I thought this was strange because she seemed to check on other tables without being asked or flagged down. The waitress also walked off while my sister was in the middle of giving her order. Other tables received their food before us despite being seated after us. I complained to the supervisor and she addressed our concerns with the waitress. The waitress came out later and apologized saying she didn't hear my sister order her food. Her explanation didn't account for the fact that we were ignored until I complained to her supervisor, but ok. The food was ok. Overall, I'm giving a two star review because the supervisor addressed our concerns and comped our drinks, but if I ever find myself back at the Hilton Hill Country, I'll get in the car and drive somewhere else to eat.

It is a huge restaurant it felt very welcoming and within the theme of seafood with all the designs and crabs hanging on the walls... very decorative and festive. We were seated and the waitress had to be flagged down to come talk to us. She is nice also almost clueless. Till the point drinks came out and had to flag her down again for straws... we ordered the edamame and tried explaining the sauce used in the edamame is more concentrated than the boil itself... similar to Surfing crab and we would like to keep the sauce to add it to the boil. She went bringing a drinking cup? To save the sauce... ok? No problem... we ordered and I explained to her that we want an extra pound of crawfish added to the combo deal which happened... same no problem. The crab is old! It looks like it has been reboiled till the point the meat shrink... you crack it open... meat non existent... waste of money! Still no problem. This is the joy of testing new restaurants... it is not always a bingo. We finished and paid. I trusted and didn't even look at the details of the bill. Today I decided to look at my statement. I realized I am over charged. I did the calculations and yes I am overcharged... for a moment we were excited same menu as surfing crab and a bit cheaper prices. I guess they make it up somehow. Now it is either eat up the cost or sit on the phone with them to review the bill This is a lesson learned to keep the receipt and look at it in details before you pay! I am sure it was a mistake her maybe putting in the order as separate items instead of the combo adding the one pound of crawfish. Needless to say I don't think it is a customer problem... they need to be more attentive. I don't think I will ever go back
