I called The Zen Den Spa recently on a Saturday morning with a migraine. I asked if they had any availability for acupuncture and I believe it was Dr. Sandy said that I could be squeezed in if I came right away. When I get my migraines nothing else will make them go away except acupuncture, so when I heard that I was really grateful that they could see me. When I arrived the receptionist gave me the option to add a 30-min massage for a reduced rate, which I agreed to. The music was pleasant and relaxing, the massage was good, and then Dr. Sandy came in to treat my migraine. She was friendly, quick, and knowledgeable; before she left the room I already started to feel better. Upon checking out the rate was $10 more than I thought I was quoted when I walked in, but I thought maybe I heard wrong because I was so out of it from my migraine. The next day I went onto their website and I saw that indeed I was charged $10 more. I wrote a quick note to Dr. Sandy, and by the next business morning I had a reply and she IMMEDIATELY rectified the problem. I really appreciate that Dr. Sandy took care of the matter so quickly, and I really respect that. Thank you Dr. Sandy for making me feel better. I will be back! read more

I have been getting massages for 10 years and never had a physical experience like this. And it's true, you offered to use acupuncture only after the request of my friend. I have to say, this is the best spa by far, please go see Maggie she is the best around I've been to the most expensive and fancy spas and they have not done what Maggie and Dr. Sandy Vidal have been able to do for me, I had been having problems sleeping and upper neck and shoulder blade stress and tension and headaches for quite sometime and have been jumping around from spa to spa and clinic to clinic and no one has been able to help me with relief I needed until I came here! As a special birthday gift, my daughter made an appointment for me at the Zen Den Spa where I received my first-ever amazing "deep tissue" back rub massage that totally rendered me listless. After a lifetime of neglect through many varied muscle demanding activities Im pleased to express it felt painfully goood. i experienced a very particular high throughout the rest if the day. but before being turned loose, i received a facial which im not too particular for but the experience was nothing short of scintillating. i smelled scents that were so pure and rich; i now understand why women are so nutty iver it. I spent about an hour and a half and it was all worth it. i plan on dojng it again, probably three times a year. i would recommend taking a day off work for a full experience. i was pleasantly satisfied. read more

I called to make an appointment and even left my insurance info, so that the venue had all my information beforehand. Unfortunately, no one ever called me back. I went ahead and called again and they did have my return information, so I made an appointment "for a chiropractic only" for both my husband and I. We went a few days later on a Saturday. While filling out our 1st time paperwork while waiting, I asked the girl at the desk about types/prices for massages (the owner was standing right there listening). She provided the information and I replied "ok, thanks. Let me get with my husband". A few minutes later we were called for our chiropractic appointment. Without knowing their procedures, we were asked to take off our upper clothing and given massages. Halfway thru the massage, I specifically asked the male giving my massage if this was normal for chiropractic service. He stated "Let me go check" and exited the room. When he came back, he said "yes". I was asked during my massage of my problem areas, so I advised him but for whatever reason he did a combination of everything. The massage itself was ok. At the end of the entire session, we approached the desk to schedule our next appointment. The owner herself helped us. She then asked for $60. Immediately, my husband and I were like "for what"? She said for the massages. I was so burning up inside because clearly everyone in her staff including herself made the mistake. Yes, she apologized but at no point did she even consider reducing the price or working with us in anyway. It was so obvious that money meant more to her than the customer service/experience itself. I'm a firm believer that if you take care of your customers not only will they gladly return but positive referrals go a long way. I personally don't want to come back but my husband wanted to give it another try, so we'll see what next week brings. read more

Dr. Sandy is the best. A friend recommended this place for the atmosphere and service. I was a little nervous over acupuncture, but my shoulders and neck were killing me I had to take a chance. Seriously I was total Joan Cusack in 16 Candles. It hurt to even turn my neck while pulling out of the drive way... Acupuncture and massage was what I needed. Walking in, the worries and stress just melted away. The atmosphere walking in was so serene. The decor was so tranquil and even the receptionist had a calm, soothing voice. For a first time visit, the paperwork was simple and to the point. Again, the nervousness was already eased BEFORE the actual therapy. Once in the room, the serenity of the decor made everything less scary, less "medical", and more relaxing and inviting. Once Dr. Sandy walked in, she explained what she would be doing and what its purpose was. Making sure the whole way that you're okay, she exited the room and returned when she said she would to remove the needles... heaven! Not done yet... then, the masseuse took over. Sweet baby Jesus, this was gold. 30 minutes of relaxation. Walking out of there, I knew I'd be back. I went back today with my best friend for another helping of goodness. GOLD AGAIN! The care that went into making this establishment as comfortable and inviting enough to take the fear of needles and the fear of being treated for medical issues into an warm and inviting place with excellent service shows. Talking to Dr. Sandy as well as her staff shows the pride they take in your care and their establishment. Since I have been here, my neck, shoulders, back, and even my sleep pattern has improved. Today was my first visit to The Zen Den Spa. It was a great experience. I have been suffering with some neck, shoulder and back discomfort. I had a great 60 minute full body massage from a young lady Mary. Thank you ! It was my first time trying cupping. I suffed from a really bad knot on my shoulder, which affected my neck. I had chronic for over a year, I would wake up with pain on my shoulder and neck. Very irritating and annoying, I got to the point where I wanted to cut out the knot myself. I tried everything ointments, heating pads and i even bought a tortilla roller and had my son roll it on the knot on my shoulder for hours. I finally decided to seek help, so I went to Zen Den.
