My experience was stellar! Hubby decided to take me here... He had already visited casualbird once and truly enjoyed it. So, he wanted me to try it too. I'm very glad he brought me! We were able to park in the lot. As I stood in the parking lot, I noticed a beautiful mural on the side of the building and several tables on an outdoor patio. Although the weather was nice, we opted to sit inside. Inside, the vibe was comfy, chic, and peaceful. We stood in a line and waited to place our order. Menus were available in a bin on the wall. I am a lover of French toast and the first thing that I do and how I decide whether or not French toast is delicious as if I can eat it without syrup. I like to taste all of the flavors of a good French toast batter, and this French toast was delicious as was the orange zest butter that was included with it. Also, with my meal, I got the fried chicken tenders. They were perfect, perfectly seasoned. The meat was not dry (which can happen with breast) and they were cooked to perfection as well. Stopped by here for a quick trip yesterday after taking a little trip with the kids to a local museum and lighthouse. We were STARVING and I saw this spot had some great reviews and you had me also at chai banana latte. My fav!! It was FANTASTIC by the way! The menu had a great variety of things and I settled on a Club Sandwich with the Sweet Potato Casserole as my side. The tables inside are bright and cheery and everything was clean. We weren't seated very long when our food arrived. My sandwich was large and looked great. I dug right into the casserole as I knew it was hot and I wanted it that way. It was very good. My sandwich was served on fresh bread, with lots of ingredients. Everything was very good. There was a sign that said they had self serve free bread pudding while it lasted after 11 am. I was so full that I couldn't try it, but it looked good. My only gripe is the acoustics. There were lots of people and it was very loud so it was hard for us to carry on a conversation. Stopped by here for a quick lunch after a slow day of fishing. It's a very chic and well decorated cafe with a weird entrance - the parking lot is only accessible on the westbound lanes of Dunlawton. This place just recently opened less than a year ago I believe. It's literally a stones throw from the beach access off dunlawton. Everytime I drove by it, it was always and I mean ALWAYS packed to the gill, and I've always wanted to stop but just either never had time or had a Dory moment. There is regular tables, booths and bar type seating near the window. There offer complementary wifi, which was really good wifi actually! So we went and ordered our food. There was SOOOO many choices it was hard to chose. I ended up settling with their hummus as a light snack and for my main meal a grilled house salad with ranch. And to drink I got their Mimosa. The hummus plate was actually big portions! In the hummus was cut up tomatoes and cucumber , and 6 or 7 slices of pita bread. I have to say this hummus was not bad at all, the flavors were perfect and spot on! The house grilled chicken salad with ranch, Jesus it was HUGE, probably the biggest salad I've ever had. In my salad it came with spring mix, tomatoes , cucumber , red onion and fire grilled chicken. The chicken was so juciy and not dry at all, whatever seasoning they used paired perfect with it all! The ranch dressing was also good and creamy! My mimosa, I usually don't like them but here it was absolutely delicious. Everyday they have bottomless bubbles for $18 dollars. I know what I'm doing this weekend. Idk what type of champagne they used but it was perfect! The wifi was great! Staff was super friendly and the restaurant was very clean.
