I can't say enough good things about The Zoo Cycle! I was out on an afternoon e-bike ride with my dog in a trailer when I got a rear tire puncture--definitely not ideal with a pup in tow. I stopped by another nearby shop, but the guy there was rude and basically turned me away because he was closing up. Thankfully, The Zoo Cycle was still open. I had to walk my bike and trailer about a mile and a half to get there, but it was 100% worth it. As soon as I arrived, they were kind, helpful, and got to work right away. They replaced my tube with a puncture-resistant one and had me back on the road in no time. I was able to ride home safely with my dog, and it truly felt like they saved the day. Very pleased with my first experience! I ride by the shop every weekday morning and so when I had a consistent leak in my rear inner tube I thought about taking the bike in and I'm glad I did. I was there when they opened up on Saturday and a half hour later I left with a new thorn resistant tube. Paul was very personable and imparted some useful information about tube patches. Visited this shop on Sunday afternoon. Needed a new tube, these guys only sell the tube they don't provide the service even if your willing to pay for it. We asked if he can help determine the tire size and he had no knowledge of that either. The most helpful thing he said was "I can tell you to come back at five the mechanic might come" Did not seem like a real bike shop at all complete waste of time, luckily I'm driving. Taking my bike back to my favorite guys just 3 miles away Lions Bike shop, fast friendly service and efficient they do everything you'd expect a bike shop to do. This place has a very cool vibe for a bike shop. I took two of my bikes there for tuneups, some missing parts (kickstand) and new longer seat post. They were able to find the correct parts even though it is difficult to find parts during the pandemic. They did a great job quickly finding the correct parts, installing them and tuning up both bikes. The prices charged were very reasonable and the work was high quality. The owner Paul is a very cool guy and he has a lot of knowledgeable employees working in the shop. This will definitely be my go to bike shop from now on. read more

A friend recently purchased Beaumont city bike from The Zoo Cycles and recommended I check them out. Unfortunately they ran out of the Beaumont bikes when I stopped by. I ended up buying it on Retrospec for $30 dollars more and had to assemble it myself. Im pretty good at putting furniture together if I have instructions, bikes... not so much. I was positive I did something wrong setting my bike up. Just to be safe, I called around a couple shops to get quotes and availability for a tune up. The Zoo Cycles were the only ones available. What was supposed to be a 1-2 day turn around was actually done in under 3 hours and cost only $40 (cheaper than the other quotes I received). I would have saved about $70 bucks if I was patient enough to wait for them to get a new shipment. All this to say they provide great service and are fairly priced! I'll definitely be coming back anytime I need my bike serviced. read more
